Thank You
Summary: This is set in the episode "Throwdown". This is Santana's thoughts as Quinn brings up the "minority students" thing. No girl romance, just Quinn/Santana friendship fluff
Thank You
"Quinn, update. Go." Ms. Sylvester said.
"The minority students don't feel like they're being heard." I looked up in shock. I hadn't expected her to say that. She had taken the words right out of my mouth.
"Ah. Chink in the armour, huh? I am going to create an environment that is so toxic; no one will want to be a part of that club. Like the time I sold my house to a nice young couple. And I salted the earth in the backyard so nothing living could grow there for a hundred years. Do you know why I did that? Because they tried to get me to pay their closing costs."
The three of us exchanged a look. Then Coach Sylvester dismissed us so we could go to our next class. As we walked I said, "Hey, Q."
"Yeah, Santana?"
"Thanks. For that whole "minority students feeling like they're not being heard" thing. You took the words right out of my mouth." I smiled.
Quinn smiled and took my hands in hers. "No problem. We're best friends. I can see how neglected you feel on your face."
I blushed. "Is it really that obvious?"
Quinn shook her head. "No, it's not obvious. It's only obvious to me because we're best friends."
I sighed in relief. "Oh, good."
Quinn laughed and hugged me. I hugged her back. She realized something and pulled away. "What time is it?"
"Uh, almost 10."
"Crap! I have a doctor's appointment!" Quinn said. She hugged me again and then took off down the hall. I smiled again. She had no idea how grateful I was to her for voicing that. "Thank you." I whispered before hurrying to my locker with Brittany in tow.
AN: The more I re-watch Glee episodes; the more I like Santana. She's getting to be such a developed character! And, it really surprised me when she looked up in that episode because I had no idea she felt like a minority student until Quinn brought that to light.
