Perspectives after the Battle of Hogwarts

Authors Note: I do not own any of the character or place names, etc. This is just a little bit from three characters and their thoughts after the final battle, hope you enjoy. May add more at a later date. I would definatley appreciate reviews, thanks!

Minerva McGonagall:

Professor McGonagall stooped down and peeked through the short, wide window of the Headmaster's office, looking over at the fire and destruction, corpses and blood below, surrounding the ground and the mountains far and wide. Though the battle was over, won by good, many people still looked scared, and others angry. Many families had been torn apart in the last twelve hours, many great, and good Witches and Wizards lives had been lost tonight, and for what? Could there have been another way to defeat Voldemort without this battle, she thought so. Minerva McGonagall still couldn't believe that this office would be her own from now on. The thought scared her.

Ron Weasley:

Ron Weasley didn't know what to feel. Happy, sad, scared, upset… He consequently felt all and none of these things at once. He stood in the Great Hall with who he assumed to now be his 'girlfriend', Hermione Granger. That made him happy, he supposed. He thought about his brother, Fred, that definitely made him feel the contrary. He thought of Voldemort, how Harry had finally destroyed him, how no more lives would be lost, this made him feel relieved, if anything. It hardly made up for the death of many of his friends and family, but it made him glad that no more was to come. Ron felt that he'd had enough trouble for one life time, and he was sure Hermione and Harry would feel very much the same.

Luna Lovegood:

It was a funny thing, war. Not funny like 'ha-ha', of course, but a very strange concept. Was this battle even very important in the end? Harry had not defeated Voldemort in the midst of Battle, had he? More lives had been spared than Luna though necessary. She got up and decided to find Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived. Luna knew that she was the only person who could calm Harry at this moment.
