AN: I present to thee an old snippet written in 2013. The following takes place during the True Ending of Calamity Trigger.
What if this had happened when Ragna found Jin at the Cathedral?

That aside, happy reading~ :'D

All-encompassing shadows seemed to cloak the two figures that stood in the room, weapons at the ready. Massive oak doors and towering stone columns increased the sheer spaciousness of the setting, allowing ghost echoes to reverberate off the walls of the abandoned NOL branch.
In this Cathedral stood two men -two brothers- who now faced each other as opponents. One of the brothers, a criminal, had hair as white as snow and donned a jacket as crimson as blood. He also had a reputation as black as ebony wood.
The other was a blonde, attired in the azure blue of an NOL uniform. He stood with the slender blade of his katana poised in a much more delicate, if not feminine, stance. But such was the stance of justice.
Although they differed, both felt the same thing. Anticipation.
Waiting for the right moment to strike, they studied each others every movement with their keen unintentionally yaoi-hinting eyes.
"Not going to make a move brother?"
"Heh. Was about to ask you the same thing."
"Afraid I'll gain the upper hand." It was a statement, not a question.
"Shut up and fight already."
Their voices fell into a suspenseful silence.
"I think it's time we stopped playing this little game Jin. Let's settle this, once and for all."
"Agreed…" Jin said, eyes narrowing in concentration.
"On three…" Ragna breathed, his eyes meeting Jin's which held an equal amount of seriousness. This was after all a serious moment, one which would alter the course of the future, as Rachel so desperately hoped.
Cool green eyes met a flaming hetrochromic glare. Jin inclined his head in agreement.
Now was the time. They were going to settle this, and they were going to settle this like men.
Seconds passed. Three, two, one...
"Rock!"
"Paper!"
"Scissors!"
"Well- shit," Ragna muttered, but could say no more as the blade of the katana sliced through the air with a shinng and narrowly missed his head.
And thus the showdown began.
Even though so much had changed, even though both brothers followed conflicting paths, one of Order, one of Chaos...one thing remained the same…
Jin was still a BOSS when it came to Rock, Paper, Scissors.

*According to wiki, Jin was very good at rock, paper, scissors as a kid.
Also, I think at the time I wrote it, Ragna's description was meant to be a parody of Snow White. XD
