"Syaoran… NO!" Sakura screamed as she watched him fall. His aura was extremely weak. Syaoran wasn't weak.
Panic filled her mind as she ran over to him. It showed in her own aura which was swelling quickly. 'What can I do? None of the cards can help here!'
And that was when she stopped thinking completely and allowed the magic to take over.
Her aura grew wilder and bigger and she turned to face the opponent that had downed Syaoran. She didn't care about his name, just that Syaoran was hurt because of him. "Firey."
And the man screamed.
"Dark."
And the enemies could not see anything but the darkness of their own souls. It seemed to be worse than the dementors to them.
"Light." And light destroyed the dark amidst the screams. Only the light aligned fighters were left when the veil of darkness lifted.
"They really shouldn't have hurt Syaoran. It would have happened if they hurt Sakura instead though," Eriol said simply when people began looking at Sakura with fear.
'And her aura should have diminished, not gotten bigger.'
Instead Sakura knelt by Syaoran.
"Heal."
And in a blast of light, a new card was born. Sakura's aura wasn't back to normal though.
"Heal Syaoran."
It was almost eerie to watch the wounds close and know that he had been moments from death when it happened. Sakura's aura went back to normal when the healing was completed.
She turned and face the crowd of awed faces.
"He just needs some sleep now. If a single one of you wakes him up, there will be consequences."
There was a collective shudder in the group as she walked away with Syaoran in her arms.
