Jackson is my original character, but I don't own CSI.

I hate that George Eads is leaving this season! I am writing a story where he talks with Jackson before he leaves, but I had to write a story for Jackson's birthday! So here's what I came up with. Hope you all enjoy! And please review!

Greg and Morgan looked at the decorations in the living room and smiled. Their son Jackson was celebrating his sixth birthday, and Barbara and D.B. took him out for ice cream so they could set up everything.

Lucy, one of Jackson's friends, tugged on Greg's shirt. "Is Jackson gonna like the party? Will he be here soon?"

Greg glanced out the window to see the Russell's car pull into the driveway. "He's here. You guys ready?" Everyone got quiet as Jackson and the Russell's came in.

"Why are there all the cars?" Jackson asked as he walked to the door and saw all the cars parked in the driveway and street. Just then, D.B. opened the door and all Jackson's friends from school, all his aunts and uncles from the lab, his grandparents and Greg and Morgan shouted "Surprise!"

Jackson smiled and gasped softly. "Oh wow!"

Greg smiled and hugged his son. "Happy birthday, Jacks!"

"Oh, daddy! You an' mama did all this for me?"

"Yeah," Greg said with a warm smile. "We thought you'd like a party with your friends and family." Taking Jackson's hand, he said, "We invited some folks you might want to see."

Jackson's eyes widened and he smiled when he saw his grandparents and great-grandmother. "Nana! Papa! Great Greta!" He happily rushed into their arms.

"Hello, my darling!" Greta said as she hugged her great-grandson. "Happy birthday!"

"Thank you! I so happy you here!" Greta spent Christmas in Vegas with the family, and Jackson couldn't spend enough time with her and his grandparents. Jackson smiled at her. "I so happy you here!"

"Well, so am I," Greta said with a warm smile. "I think it's about time I came for one of your birthdays."

Greg couldn't stop smiling as he watched his son happily introduce his grandparents to his friends. He knew that was his son's best present. Morgan handed Greg a glass of punch. "You think he'll notice he has other presents?" They laughed softly and enjoyed the moment.

D.B. smiled. "Hey, Jackson?" The little boy turned and smiled. "They're not the only ones who came to see you." Jackson smiled as D.B. and Barbara's daughter and granddaughter came out from behind him. "Happy birthday!" Katie shouted.

"Katie!" Jackson rushed over and hugged his good friend. "I missed you!"

"I missed you! And I brought you a present!"

Jackson smiled. "You came! An' my Great Greta an' my Nana an' Papa an' all my family and friends! This is the bestest birthday ever!"

Greg smiled as Jackson played with all his friends and family. Jackson loved his gifts, but loved being with everyone more. And everyone had a wonderful time.

Katie spent the night and the two read stories and talked with Greta. They played in Jackson's play tent and laughed and chatted. Greg loved hearing his son's laughter.

Just before bedtime, Jackson ran to Greg in the living room. "Daddy!"

Greg pulled Jackson up on his lap. "Did you have a good birthday?"

"Thank you!" Jackson said as he wrapped his arms around his daddy. "I had the bestest day ever! I love you, daddy!"

Greg held his son and smiled, loving the moment. "I love you, Jacks. Happy birthday."

"Thank you! Can you come tell us a story?"

"I'd love to," Greg said with a warm smile.

Morgan took video of Greg, Jackson, Katie and Greta reading a story and laughing, just loving being together.

Jackson snuggled next to Greg and smiled. "Thank you for my bestest birthday ever."

Greg hugged his son. "I love you, Jacks."

"I love you too, honey," Greta said. Katie said, "Love you."

Jackson smiled softly as he drifted off to sleep. "I love you... And I have the bestest daddy."

Greg smiled and kissed Jackson's forehead. "I love you, Jacks. Happy birthday."

The End
