Author Note: I do not own Naruto. Takes place after Minato sealed Nine Tails in Naruto

. Minato laid on the ground, no longer able to sit up. He glanced over at his crying newborn son. I'm a horrible father, he thought to himself, I have my son outside in the cold without clothes. I can't even calm him down. Damn this jutsu. He laid thinking back on his life, smiling at most memories. But when he thought back on his goals, he wondered about his friends. Minato had became Hokage, and had been told he was the greatest yet. He had gotten to fall in love with Kushina, and she had returned it. He wondered if Rin would become as great of a medical-nin as she hoped to. She had always to meet Tsunade. He wondered if Kakashi would get his own Genin team, hopefully including his son, Naruto. He hoped they wouldn't overwhelm themselves, especially since they had a tendency to. He had been looking forward to seeing their success. He had a good relationship with his students. He considered them to be his "adopted" children. They had all trusted him and asked him every question they had, some had been extremely mature or embarrassing. He sighed realizing he wouldn't see Kushina or Obito. He missed the Chunin that died way too soon. He felt bad about being too late to save him, especially since all Kakashi and Rin had been able to do was stand and watch. Kakashi had started getting referred to as the Copy-Cat ninja due to Obito's final act. His students had all grown up so quickly. Minato's breathing was slowing down. He would never see his son's friends or know what his interests were. He wouldn't even be able to know his personality. He then remembered the personal touch he added. He had a chance to see Naruto later. He was almost hoping the seal would weaken soon, but doubted it would happen. Besides, a few minutes would never make up for missing the majority of Naruto's life. But the thought of seeing Naruto older made him smile. At that second, he was officially gone forever.
