Eternally Forever

It seemed to have taken me,

A lapse of time or so,

Before I realized

That I've lost my soul.

Teardrops from heaven

Splashed through the sea,

To reveal the drowned secrets

That my hope's a shattered debris.

Gaining up courage,

I risked the things I have,

Searching far and wide

For this utmost surprise.

Drenched in blood,

Full of bruises and cuts,

I halted and remembered

Those times well spent.

Rummaging through the ages,

I scrolled downward and deeper.

Seeking among all persons

The one I call friend.

Starting from the first number,

I began to remember,

The special things In life

Which I thought only matters.

But what is so peculiar,

I feel something's still missing.

Apart from this happiness

I willingly reached.

Taking one step backward,

I turned my head and replayed.

Watching every scene,

'Till my eyes became strained.

Disappointed I walked forth,

Like those failed traveler.

Heading towards the place,

I thought I once belonged.

I opened the big stone door,

And entered sad looking,

Through this man-made structure

Which the people called home.

It was when I was surprised,

To see this person I least expected.

Who hugged me like before,

But somehow, it's warmer more.

On the day I first saw her,

She was crying and in danger,

I acted quickly to save her,

Knowing one's life is more than treasure.

By this simple act of kindness,

I now knew I'm not worthless.

However I have to return,

To myself who's always alone.

Turning my back to her,

I started to walk away.

But the strangest thing happened,

She called me and said, 'wait.'

All those days in my life,

I expected no one to stop me.

To thank me in return

Just for something so little.

I looked upon her eyes,

And then I was awakened,

It's then that I knew,

She was there - and she cared.

I've wasted my time,

Searching around the world.

Finding this something,

Which I feel is always lacking.

It's just then that I realized,

That I needn't look far.

'Cause what I've been longing to know,

Is now here, the truth unfolds.

Man simply don't see,

These humble things from within.

All the naturally see, they think,

The world's natural beauty.

But the beauty of the heart

Does not use physical visions.

It sees only through this:

The soul's mind and plain mirror.

This 'something' I've long waited,

Resides within everyone's heart.

It vanishes never,

It's love eternally forever.
