My first Puzzleshipping one-shot ^_^ I didn't think I could do this, so this is the best I can do. I actually got the idea from the song Stolen by Dashboard Confessional, so it's not exactly meant for the recent holiday that just passed by (Valentine's Day if your clueless), but if you want it to be, then it can be :p I find this horribly cute, so please R&R!

Atem grumbled and threw the red piece of paper on the table in front of him. He could not believe Anzu had talked him into helping her, Honda, Katsuya, and Yugi all decorate the shop for Valentine's Day. He was told to cut out paper hearts to the best of his ability, and so far he was just angry at the paper for not obeying his commands and cutting correctly. Atem whipped around to throw another paper heart away, when Yugi was standing there.
"Having trouble?" Yugi asked and smiled, taking the heart away from Atem. Atem glared at him.
"You stole my heart." Atem deadpanned. Yugi blushed.
"How about..." Yugi started to say, cutting out a perfect paper heart from a red sheet. "You take mine instead. I'll take yours."
"But mines all wrinkled and broken, and yours is perfect. Why would you want mine?" Atem asked, catching on to the joke.
"Just because it's broken doesn't mean it can't be fixed, but if you take mine you have to promise you won't wreck it." Yugi said, handing him the heart. Atem took it.
"I can promise you I won't." Atem said, smiling. "And you have to promise you'll fix mine."
"I can honestly say I don't think this heart needs major fixing, just some tape there, and a staple or two here. Otherwise it's perfect." Yugi said. Atem gave his Hikari a look.
"Well, you're not getting your heart back. I like this one better than my old one." Atem said and kept the new paper heart close.
"It's okay. I like this one better, anyway." Yugi said, taping a tear in the heart.
"Why? How could you like just a tattered and torn thing?" Atem wondered.
"Just because it's tattered and torn doesn't mean it's not perfect, does it? It just needs love and care, and I'm willing to give that, if you're willing to give my heart love and care so it doesn't get tattered and torn more than it already is." Yugi said, pointing at a few wrinkles on the heart Atem was holding.
"Would you two stop fighting over paper hearts? Honestly." Honda said and rolled his eyes, and then went back to helping Katsuya put a heart banner up.
Atem looked at Yugi in the eyes and kissed his forehead.
"I can promise you, I will take care of this heart to the best of my ability; As long as you promise to never, ever to throw my heart away and forget about it." Atem said. Yugi smiled and nodded.
"It's a deal." He said and pecked Atem on the lips before running to go help the others.
