Lonely Heart

"I'm open and proud." He leans back in his seat but the man across him isn't satisfied. "You looked much happier when you were younger and gayer."

He can't get the conversation out of his head. Was he right? Had he been happier when he was younger? There's no reason why he shouldn't be… He is successful. Has so much going for him. Yet, he himself had felt slightly dissatisfied with his life for a while now. No-one special in his life… No real contacts at the office despite his hard work. He might be lonelier than he thought. This witness had such beautiful eyes and a sympathetic smile… which was terribly irksome, of course. The last thing he wanted was pity!


"Mixed signals? It's like multiple personalities!"

The manager had scared him. "It will be like walking him down the aisle." That was definitely not his plan.
