I've published two other Gollum poems individually, but the rest will be compiled here. I don't own LoTR or Gollum, though they frequently own my brain.

Here's my version of Sam's troll song from The Fellowship of the Ring (book). Not all will this goofy...

Gollum sat beside a creek

A-munching a catfish big and sleek

Quite glad he was to have a meal

For fish was hard to come by

Rum by! Dum by!

He'd long been roaming cold hard lands

Where fish was hard to come by

Up came Bilbo, short and fat

Said he, "Pray tell, where'd you get that?

Perhaps from the pool, so green and cool

That belongs to my sister Lily?

Filly! Silly!

She feeds and tends and owns those fish

Now, did you steal from Lily?"

"Lad," Gollum said, "Thiss we wass fed

By a hobbit-lasss with a curly head

Who we met fisshing by a pool

She might have been thy sisster

Blisster! Twisster!

She gladly spared thiss fissh for us

When we embraced and kisssed her"

Said Bilbo then, "You had no say

From me to go and have your way

With my father's child, so sweet and mild

And steal from her in the bargain

Jargon! Argon!

You give her fish to me right now

Or you'll regret that bargain!"

"Her life's her own. Leave uss alone!

Or we will bite thee to the bone

Some hobbit-meat will go down sweet

We'll try our teeth on thee now

See now! Hee now!

We tire of all thy pesstering

We'll try our teeth on thee now"

But as he sprang up, fangs agleam

Bilbo shoved him in the stream

I'll drown the little thief, he thought

He'll never steal again, then

Hen then! Fen then!

No innocent girl will ever feel

His slimy touch again, then

But quick as an otter, and a canny plotter

Was Gollum, son of the mountain water

He slithered swiftly down the stream

Until it reached a river

Liver! Giver!

Bilbo groaned; he couldn't swim

And dared not brave the river

Now Lily dreams of living light

Of emerald eyes and water bright

While Gollum wanders far-off lands

And swims and sings and fishes

Dishes! Wishes!

And thinks about one hobbit-maid

As all alone he fishes
