Just a quick one-shot drabble-y idea I had based off of Freddie's Pearphone Blog intry on . I've been debating on writing this for a while and decided to just go with it.
Disclaimer: iCarly isn't mine, obviously.
Sam laid back on her bed, looking up at the ceiling, bored out of her mind. She didn't feel like bothering to go to Carly's—felt it took too much energy for how she was feeling right now, however, she couldn't help but smirk thinking about the prank she had set up for Freddie earlier today. She could just hear him now when he stumbled upon some more dead fish in her locker. So what if she did it before? The conseqences weren't that bad…except being handcuffed to Gibby, but she was sure he at least knew not to do that again.
At that moment, her cell phone went off alerting a new text message. She figured it was Carly asking where she was. After all, iCarly was to be shot in a few hours and it was odd that she wasn't there already, eating their food.
Opening her message folder, Sam raised her eyebrow when she saw it was from Freddie. Clicking it, her eyes widened when she saw the message.
"I love you." Written as plain as day. Sam shook her head—he probably meant to send it to Carly, of course, unless he somehow screwed up what he wanted to say. Sometimes, technology seemed to hate him as much as she did…or at least as much as she pretended to. Hitting reply, she quickly put in "I hate you with every inch of my being. Lose my number, jerk-face." and hit send.
The phone then rang. As expected, it was Carly and as soon as Sam answered, Carly quickly asked where she was in a worried tone.
"Don't worry, I'll be right over Carls."
"Good! Because we still should reherse some more and—"
"Relax. I promise I'll be right there."
"Oh, and Freddie told me to tell you he got your message."
"Good. Let the dork know I meant every word of it."
"Sam!"
And with that, Sam hung up the phone and sat up. She took another look at her cell phone and went back to Freddie's message. Giving a small smirk, she headed to press delete and stopped, hitting another button instead before tossing it onto the bed and leaving the room.
A few seconds later, a message popped up on the phone.
"Text Message successfully saved."
