'Can I keep it?' Herry begged, pleading with his eyes.

'No. Absolutely not' Jay was not about to give in. Theresa appeared behind him.

'He's right Herry. Not after what happened last time. Sorry' she shot a sympathetic look to him before guiding Jay out the room. Herry fell to his bed and looked and the creature beside him. Odie wandered in stopping by the door to give it a soft tap. Herry lifted his head.

'Dude, it can't stay here' he sympathised. Herry groaned.

'It's just...Jay doesn't think I can handle it, but I can! I've looked after lots of animals! On the farm, like cows, and, and, pigs and...' Herry pleaded. Odie smiled, leaning against the door frame.

'It's not that big guy.' Herry looked confused. 'Think about it. It was probably that thing's dad that almost killed Jay. Having a baby chimera roaming around the house may not be the best thing for him to deal with, especially as his stress levels are peaking higher than Mount Olympus at the moment cause of a certain God of Time.'

'But he's so cute!' He started stroking his new friend. 'Aren't you little Colin!' Odie hid a chuckle and grinned.

'You named it?' He managed to utter.

'Yes! What's wrong with that? Colin the cute chimera!' Herry proclaimed defensively, Odie taken aback but trying his hardest the keep a straight face.

'Look Herry, it, um Colin deserves to be with his, or should I say her, own kind. How would you feel if you were taken from your family?' Herry looked up.

'Isn't that why I'm here?' he supposed innocently. Odie considered this. The big guy had a point

'Well yeah, but you have a job to do here. Do it for Colin. Or better yet Jay. You don't want to make him more stressed out. And I'm sure he'll let you visit Colin.'

Herry murmured a weak agreement, before Odie got the signal to leave, softly closing the door behind him. Herry looked around his room aimlessly, until he saw his large closet. He grinned.

'What Jay doesn't know can't hurt him.'
