Partners in Crime.
Carmyne was walking one day with her three friends Skytris, Parcellus and Falari. They were just about to go to Skytris and Parcellus's house when Carmyne's mom Cassandra came up to talk to Carmyne.
"Carmy, will you please watch your little brother? Your dad and I have to go see what Macavity and his daughter are up to, they were both making trouble in the junkyard today." Cassandra said as she stopped the four friends on their walk.
"But mom! I was going to go to Sky and Par's house. Can't he go over to one of his friends house?" Carmyne begged her mom as she climbed up one of the street lamps and began walking back and forth on the top of it.
"Carmy, he's your responsibility." Cassandra said as she walked towards the street lamp.
"No he's not, and besides, why does he need a kitty sitter when all he does is sit around and dream of Pepper. Hey mom, did you know that Cam asked Pepper to be his mate?" Carmyne asked her mother as she sat down on the street lamp.
"No. Your brother neglected to us that, but, how did you know?" Cassandra asked her daughter.
"Fal, Sky, Par and I watched him." Carmyne answered as she got up and began walking on the lamp.
"Carmyne, who are you going to the Jellicle ball with?" Her mother asked her.
"No one." Carmyne answered.
"Are you even going to the Jellicle ball?" Parcellus asked her friend.
"Only if someone asks me, but what does it matter? What's so important about the Jellicle ball anyway?" Carmyne asked as she jumped back down to the ground.
"Well, if you go this year-"
"Then I'll become a queen. Yea, yea, I know. You've only told me like a thousand times." Carmy said as she interrupted her mothers sentence.
"Cassi, c'mon let's go!" Mistoffolees called to Cassandra from street.
"Carmy please just keep an eye on Camryne." Cassandra asked.
"Alright, but this time I better get paid." Carmy said as she walked around in a circle. Cassandra thanked Carmy, and then ran to catch up with Misto.
"I hate little brothers." Carmyne complained.
"I feel like stealing, don't you?" Skytris asked Carmyne and Parcellus.
"Yep." They both answered at the same time.
"Only one question. Where are we stealing from?" Carmy asked her two friends.
"Oi guess we'll steal from one of the houses by Victoria grove." Sky told them.
"Oh ya, I can't wait!" Par said as she jumped up and down.
"'Ey Par, this toime can you try not ta be late?" Sky asked her.
"Alright." Par agreed.
"Oh, and you." Sky said as she turned and looked at Falari.
"I can't tell my dad or you'll get caught and that would be telling someone your secret, I know, I know." Falari said as though he was mocking Sky.
"Falari, there's no telling what your dad'll do to us if he finds out." Carmyne told him.
"Par, we gotta go." Sky said as she looked at her half twin.
"Sky, do you think you can bring me another bag? I can't find mine." Carmy asked her.
"Sure." Sky said as she and Parcellus walked away. Falari told Carmy good- bye, and then he walked on towards his home. From behind a couple of bushes Camryne thought of a way he could tell on his sister and her friends. After Carmy walked inside her home, a few minutes later he walked in. He didn't want his sister to know he was spying on them.
