She grabbed his hand trying to stay with him as long as possible. She didn't care he was a fugitive who tried to kill her, she loved him. He didn't look back at her, he just stopped moving. She let go of his hand and instead wrapped her hands around his waist, resting her head on his shoulder. "I don't want you to go," Erza said, hiding her face from him. He didn't make a movement. "I need you to be with me. I can't survive without you."
"Erza," Jellal said, "I'm a fugitive and I hurt you, I can't stay here, no matter how much I want to.
"But Jellal," Erza argued, "Fairy Tail can protect you. We're strong enough to beat the magic council and their guards." Erza looked up and stepped away from him, hoping, again, that he would stay.
"Erza!" Jellal shouted, turning around and grabbing her by her shoulders. She wasn't wearing armor when she saw him because she was jogging when she saw him. "Just stop! Even if you can beat this magic council, a new, stronger one will appear. One that you, and your friends can't beat! I told you before! I'm a fugitive! A killer! A murderer! I'm a monster in a human's disguise! You can't change what I am no matter how hard you try!" he panted out of breath from yelling at her.
"Jellal," Erza said quietly. "You once told me I was strong enough to do anything. Doing anything includes helping you. I can't let you go back in the darkness. If you continue to throw yourself into it, then i'll continue to be a light! I'll keep you happy and you'll be in the light. We'll get the magic council to drop charges and you can be free! Everyone has forgiven you for what happened with the tower of heaven except you. Nobody thinks of you as a monster except yourself! Stop blaming yourself! It's not your fault."
Jellal's eyes widened at Erza's proclamation and tears fell out his eyes. His hands moved out to her and he hugged her. He laid his forehead on her shoulder and sobbed. He felt so happy someone cared for him, Especially since he loved her. He lifted his head and stared into her eyes. He leaned forward, capturing her lips with his
