Disclaimer: I (sadly) do not own Sherlock.
Many thanks to the annoying Catterfly3035 (my sis) for reading over this for me. ;)
Sherlock listen intently to the sound of his flatmates footsteps up the stairs coming home from work. He then loudly groaned. Oh no, he thought, another movie night. Whenever John came home with a movie Sherlock could hear him moving quicker than normal.Eversince John learned that Sherlock had never watched a Disney movie, he made a personal endeavor to watch every single movie he got his hands on with the genius. Sherlock complained every time, but secretly enjoyed sending time with John.
"What torture will you inflict upon me now?" Sherlock whined from his spot on the couch.
"The newest movie!" John replied, ignoring Sherlock's tone. "This is the one that's been selling like crazy!"
"Mycroft." Sherlock's mind flashed back to Mycroft's earlier text. I hope you like singing. -MH
John started the kettle and held up the cover. "They sold out of these in the stores, but I got this one from Karen at work today. Not sure why, but she insisted."
Sherlock sent a text to his brother while John fixed the tea. You will regret this.
Oh, it will be worth it. Mycroft responded instantly.
After everything was settled, John started the movie. Sherlock rolled his eyes as snowflakes and chanting came from the screen. Mycroft...
Partway into the movie Sherlock already knew the ending. This "Anna" will obviously fall in love with "Hans" and control her sister...Surely Mycroft isn't commenting on sibling bonds, seeing how he is the Iceman and all..." He leaned over to tell John, but John had already learned to ignore Sherlock during movies, particularly ones that he had never watched before. He huffed and continued watching the story.
Later on he became confused. There seems to be another love interest, this "Kristoff," but in every Disney movie previously there was "love at first sight." Not only that, but they fell in love with princes, or at least ones pretending. Sherlock looked over at John, who seemed to be coming to the same conclusion. The song "Fixer Upper" did not help whatsoever, or at least until it clicked in Sherlock's head.
"She'll have to choose between them."Sherlock stated, and sat smugly while John puzzled. John had just processed what Sherlock said when Hans betrayed Anna with his famous line. The look on Sherlock's face when he realized Hans was the antagonist was priceless, and John kept a wide smile through out the rest of the movie. Sherlock stormed off to his room after with John's laptop, but John just laughed. Now he'll sulk all day until another case or movie. Wonder what he would think about Tangled...
Author's Note: This idea popped into my head last night and I had to instantly write it down. I'm working on chapter two for (Nearly) Scared to Death as you read this (I was in the middle of writing that when this hit me) so expect an update by the end of the week. Please leave a review and thank you for reading!
