Anna looked at Melissa eagerly. "I can't wait to introduce the new paper children." Melissa grinned and nodded excitedly. Anna pulled out the remote and pressed "play." The paper children in her room instantly sprang to life.
"Okay, gather 'round," Anna shouted, locking the door. Her parents didn't know about the paper children being able to move yet, and Anna wanted to keep it that way. It was proving to be a bit difficult, though, with all the mayhem they caused.
"We'd like to introduce you to some new paper children," Melissa said. From behind Anna, four new paper children peered out. Anna grinned down at them.
"I'd like to introduce you all to Zetsu," The plant-like, black-and-white sided one gave the other paper children a hungry look that reminded Envy and Ed of gluttony, "Pein," The multi-pierced one glared and held a blue-haired paper child closer to him, "Konan," The bluenett blushed and waved, otherwise stoic, "and Mew." The pink-furred Pokémon mewed in response.
"Anna! Melissa!" Came a shout from downstairs. Anna and Melissa made their exit. Anna looked down at them. "Behave," She warned, before closing the door behind them. Deidara and Tobi, exited about not being the only Akatsuki members anymore, eagerly greeted their leader, Konan, and Zetsu.
Ran grinned up at Konan, "You're pretty," She said, almost awestruck. Konan nodded and shooed the little girl away, looking around.
"Is there any paper for origami?" She asked quietly. Rose grinned and nodded. She'd found a kindred spirit! "Right this way!" She said excitedly. Pein glanced over to make sure Konan wasn't about to get mobbed by the strange characters before turning back, coming stomach-to-face with the little girl who called Konan pretty before.
Ran stared up at the pierced face of the carrot-headed ninja for a long time before Envy noticed and yanked her away. "Idiot," He hissed at her, "Don't stare at him." She nodded seriously and skipped off to find Mew.
Meanwhile, downstairs, Anna and Melissa were just leaving.
"I hope Zetsu doesn't eat anyone…"
