(This is going to seem reeaaly dumb but I got the idea after playing dance
dance revolution at the arcade for a long time and the idea just popped
into my head and looked really cool.)
Johnny walked down the crowded sidewalk humming a song by Tori Amos to himself. He stopped when he saw the new video arcade on the corner. "Wow I haven't been to one of these sense I was like10!" Johnny said running into the building. All around him lights blinked and music played
There it stood in all its glory, Dance Dance revolution 3rd mix it was beautiful. Johnny pulled a few quarters out of his pocket and jumped onto the game. He chose his song and gracefully stepped along with the beat. Faster and faster his feat moved, sweat formed on his forehead but he did not care he was doing better than he had ever done before. Circles of people formed around him cheering as his went on not missing a move. When his run ended a tall thin teen with long curly hair and glasses jumped up onto the board with him.
Together in perfect unison they danced along when the other guys arm flailed out and smacked Johnny throwing him off balance and knocking the other guy over. "Hey ass hole you threw me off!" the kid yelled at Johnny. "Hey it was an accident!" Johnny yelled back. The kid stood up and pushed Johnny down and threw a punch. "It was just a fucking game!" Johnny shouted. The kid lifted Johnny by the front of the shirt and brought his face close to his, "you knocked me down in front of all these people do you actually think I'd just let you do that? I got a rep you know!" the boy hollered. Johnny looked around at all the people who were once cheering for him to dance were now cheering for him to fight.
"That's it I've had enough of you!" Johnny pulled a knife out and jammed it into the kid stomach and twisted it making blood spill onto his hands. The boy dropped his and fell to the floor. Johnny looked down at the bloody teenager but was soon distracted and right back up on the game.
