Just a little something based on a picture on tumblr.
Someone said someone should write it, and I guess I tried. It's short, and not that talented, but I tried. Hope you like it.
"Hey Kurt, come here," Blaine called from their apartment's living room.
"Yeah?" Kurt said, walking in.
Blaine hurried and snapped a picture of Kurt with an old camera. The picture came out of the slot on the front. Before Kurt could object, and take the picture away from him, Blaine took it and started fanning it around to develop. It was a hilarious picture. Kurt wanted to burn it, but Blaine asked him to take more pictures. Together.
"Here, come sit next to me, I bought a new scrap book, and I want to fill it up. I've had this camera forever, and thought the pictures would look more authentic with it," Blaine explained.
"Well fine. You're lucky I look fabulous everywhere," Kurt said with a smile. Blaine chuckled, and plopped down on their small couch.
The two boys laughed, spending most of the morning taking pictures together, and of each other. They didn't even care about what they looked like anymore, and just flew them on the ground once they popped out of the front.
The small living room became quite a mess.
"Hey, how about some lunch, and you can pick up these pictures. Maybe take some more some other times. You don't want them all to look the same," Kurt suggested.
"Sure," Blaine replied, and started picking up the ones on the couch next to them.
"What would you like to eat?" Kurt asked.
"Hmm, surprise me. I love your cooking," Blaine said.
Kurt smiled, and kissed him on the lips before parting into the kitchen just across the hall.
It only took Blaine a few minutes to pick them all up and put them in a pile. They came out wonderful. He searched for a pen, and began writing what they meant on them. The scrap book itself was still in the plastic bag in their bedroom, so he was only going to pick out his favorites for now. Once he went through about half, Kurt came back in with some simple sandwiches.
"Hey! You look adorable in this one!" Kurt commented and snatched up one that Blaine already sorted.
"Nuh uh, you can't see any of them until they're in the book. I'll work on it tomorrow," Blaine said, and took the picture from him. He then scooped up the rest, and put them in a bag to his left.
"That's no fair!" Kurt complained.
"Life's not fair. I'll surprise you with it," Blaine said.
"Well it's not much of a surprise anymore," Kurt said, taking his sandwich.
"I guess not. Well, at least when we're old and grey, we can show our grand children,"
"I will never be 'old and grey'," Kurt said.
"Nope, you're like fine wine. You just get better with age," Blaine said, and kissed him once more, although more passionately.
While Kurt went to work the next morning, Blaine took off to stay home and finish his book. He spent hours on it, and when Kurt did come home, he was glad because he needed the car to go to the local craft store to pick up some more stationary.
"Hey babe, I'm going out to the store real quick. I'll be back in like ten minutes," Blaine called to him, and grabbing his keys.
"Alright," Kurt called back. Blaine didn't realize he left his work on the table for Kurt to peak at.
"Hmm," Kurt said, and waited for the door to close to actually start looking at it. He only opened it to a page in the middle and saw a few pictures.
"Hey! I thought that picture was sexy face, not serious face!" Kurt said to himself, while noticing Blaine's writing. He picked up a blue pen and wrote down his thoughts. 'I hope he doesn't mind,' Kurt thought.
He smiled and closed the book, because he did actually want it to be a surprise still.
