This is an answer to the prompt challenge issued by Black-Tortoise-of-the-North.

Story start
Naruto opens his eye, Kakashi has stopped and is looking around at several fallen trees that have been cut and blown over.
"What happened here Kakashi- sensei?" asks Naruto from the jonins back.
"Shikimaru and the Suna-nin Temari fought an Oto-nin here, seems they caused a lot of collateral damage," answers Kakashi.
Naruto spots a young red-haired girl beneath several trees, Naruto recognises her as one of the Oto-nin that was with Sasuke. Kakashi spots the girl and walks over to her.
The girl is clearly dead.
"Kakashi-sensei, do you think she has any family that will miss her?" asks Naruto
"Maybe, I don't know, but I like to think that everyone has somebody who will miss them when they die," answers Kakashi.
Kakashi leans over and closes the dead girl's eyes, as both he and Naruto silently pray for the soul of their enemy, a tradition the two developed after the mission to the wave since they had both wondered if they could have been friends with Zabuzza and Haku.
"What was she like Naruto?" asks Kakashi after a moment of silence.
"Loud, she swore a lot and considered us all trash, but her eyes, they were so sad until she started playing her flute, when she started playing there was passion and love burning in her eyes. She must have loved music," responds Naruto
Kakashi readjust Naruto on his back and the pair set off once more for Konoha, a single thought in both of their minds 'I may not have a real family, but I know I will be missed'

A real short story, there isn't that much about Tayuya known since she died so early, she doesn't even have a family name.
