DON'T OWN ARTEMIS FOWL!

It was 12:05, AM. Most people were awake at Fowl manor. Holly, Foaly (Humanizing pill for him), Mulch, and Juliet were sneaking into Artemis's room. It was winter. He was cold. He tossed and turned in his bed. Juliet slowly pulled off the cover. He was in his old Aramai(Spelt Right?) Red Boxers. They all took out water guns, and a small container of mud. I still don't like this, but now they'll think I don't like him. But you don't! Her bad side said. Yes you dooo! Her good side said. She looked at I'm. He looks cute when he is asleep. And he is wearing the gold coin I gave him! Awww… She thought. She turned to Juliet. Juliet put her hand up. 3… 2… 1… Now! They all threw muddy snowballs at him. Holly threw hers a little late, and Artemis stared right at her. It hit the side of his head, and with enough force to knock him over. He fell of his bed, and they all cringed at the loud thunk when his head hit the ground. They all ran over to him. His head was bleeding with a gash across his temple. Holly screamed, and started to heal him. Butler ran in. "WHAT HAPPENED?" He yelled.

"We pranked him… and he fell…" Foaly said. Holly finished healing him. Butler pushed her into the wall, and carried Artemis away. Holly sat in the guest room next to him till he woke up.

"Are you okay?" She said hoarsely. He breathed. He turned to her. His mixed eyes darkened.

"Stay away from me! Stay back!" He screamed. Holly was frightened.

"What? Artemis I'm sorry I hit you-!" She started.

"No, you're not. Now leave, and don't come back unless a crisis. All of you and your magical friends. And as the way friends go, you just lost one and made an enemy." He growled.

"Artemis I-…" She started again.

"You do not have permission into my home. Leave now or you shall lose your magic." He said coldly. He closed his eyes. She never cared about you. That look in her eyes before she hit you. Now I know. And plus, she is an elf. It wouldn't work.

"No. I will not leave. I'm staying right here, even if you try and force me." She said, and sat on the bed. She won't just leave me alone…

"Very well, lose your magic." He said simply.

"You want to know why I am staying?" She said.

"I honestly could care less, but I assume you'll probably tell me before you throw up." He said with hatred in his voice. It was just a prank, but them laughing though my extreme pain wasn't funny. I could've died.

"Three simple words Artemis. Very simple." She said. I still could care less.

"I. Love. You." She said. He looked at her.

"And I don't care." Artemis stated.

"If you did, you wouldn't have started this. Could have left me alone. But noooo. You had to go and nearly kill me. Thanks."

"But Artemis I mean it. I didn't like any part of the prank. I tried to stop the idea! Why can't you love me back-!" She screamed. Then started to throw up. Fell to the ground, and started to painfully groan. He sighed.

"All magical beings are allowed into my home." He whispered. Holly stopped throwing up. She looked at him with horror, which quickly faded.

"I still love you, Artemis." She said.

"I know." He replied. Then she kissed him. It was soft, and sentimental. He tried to brake away, but eventually gave up.

"Why?" He whispered, "Why me? Why not Trouble, or some elf?"

"Because I have your back, and you have mine."

"I'm sorry I overreacted so much Holly. I didn't mean to put you in pain. Really." He whispered in her ear.

"I'm sorry I didn't stop them. I really should've." She whispered back.

"Don't worry, I'll get back at them." Artemis said to Holly.

"Holly, I love you to." He said, and they kissed again.
