"This was stupid."
"Yeah."
"We should have waited."
"Probably."
"But it was amazing."
"Yeah it was."
"I should go before Vince comes in to check on you." They stayed where they were. Both were extremely happy. Gary kept his eyes shut.
"He's off with Holly somewhere; he said he wouldn't be back until later."
Gary continued to keep his eyes shut. After a long night; the wait during Val's wedding, him kissing Tina and professing his feelings, her respondingwith "what took you so long.", them sharing several dances, and them heading back to the apartment. This resulted in a night with no sleep. Sleep however, was the farthest thing from his mind, because if he were to fall asleep the girl with him would fade from his touch and that was just not an option. He would stay awake as long as he could just to spend more time with her. After dealing with months of denial and months of jealously, he realized he had to due something or he would lose her and now that he had her he wanted be with her constantly.
It was good that there was no one to interrupt them at the moment. The earlier hours were spent trying to cover up sounds that would wake Vince up.
"Where are the covers?" He reached out for them but found nothing in return.
Tina was lying on top of him with her hands under his back. She was freezing and trying to use him for warmth.
"I think they are on the floor". I guess we didn't need them.
He opened his eyes and lifted his hand he began to trace and admire every curve of her face. Lifting her hands from underneath him, Tina pulled his hand away and pinned him down. She kissed all around his face, purposely avoiding his face.
"You are a tease."
"No I'm adorable and you are an idiot."
Gary smiled, "Well I guess I am idiot for waiting so long to get you, but you're not just adorable you are also beautiful."
She smiled lovingly and kissed his cheek and moved to kiss his lips but stopped half-way there.
Gary smirked and sit up Tina moved his head just as Gary's mouth hit the side of his lips. He wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her tightly. With his face in her neck he began to trail kisses down her neck.
Tina tried to push him back down, but Gary stayed where he was, failing her attempt to regain control. He hugged her tighter and blew on her neck. Tina giggled and pushed him away. He laid back down and Tina followed resting her head on his chest
They thought simultaneously that they had never felt this was about anyone else. They were content with just staring into each others eyes. It was unbelievably perfect.
