The sun shined down on inkopolis square, the place where all the freshest squid kids around hung out. An inkling girl with short pale blue hair and tanned skin walked out of Deca Tower, and put her hand in front of her face to block the bright sunlight, she wore a baseball jersey, fake contacts and gold hi-horses. She looked around the square, she hoped that she'd find some of her friends hanging around. Sadly, she didn't see any of them, so she turned to her right to head down the alley. She stepped over the grate, and walked over to the open doors of grizzco. She stepped inside the door, and Mr. Grizz greeted her, "Liz! Right on time, I got work for ya!"

Liz breathed in and gave a confident smile, "Where are we going today, Grizz?"

"The salmonids have been showing up around Salmonid Smokeyard, this is a hazard max salmon run so be prepared" responded Mr. Grizz. Liz's smile faltered a little, and then came back full force.

"Alright! I'll head out then" Liz started down the hallway to the girls locker room to change into her work clothes. Instantly she noticed that there was no one in the usually busy locker room. I wonder where everyone went she wondered as she unlocked her locker and began to change.

Liz stepped out of the locker room into the hallway, and headed for the waiting room, strangely enough there was no one here either. She sat down in a chair and waited for other inklings to show up. Liz pulled out her phone, and started to play squid jump.

After about 20 minutes of waiting, the door to the waiting room slammed closed, catching Liz's attention. She jumps up and tries to open the door, but it has no handle or door knob on her side of the door. Liz hears a scraping noise behind her, and turns around. The door that leads out to the docks had opened, but she couldn't see anyone outside.

Liz took a few quiet steps to the other door, and peeked out at the docks. She raised an eyebrow, normally there would be inklings working on the docks, but it was barren. She took a few steps into the doorway and stopped, looking around again.

Before Liz could take another step, the door slammed into her. She stumbled back, falling to the floor and grabbing her head, her head spinning from the blow. She heard quiet snickering coming from the direction of the door, and looked up. Coming toward her was what seemed to be a small group of three cohocks, but they were a little different. Their hair was purple, similar to a snatcher's, instead of the usual orange, but they still had their frying pans. Liz backed away from the oncoming strange cohocks, wishing she had a weapon or special to use. It wasn't long until Liz backed up against the wall, she had nowhere else to go. The cohocks where upon her not long after, and the one in front pulled back his frying pan, preparing to strike. Liz started to pull her hands up to protect her head, but it was too late. The pan struck the side of her head with great force, and Liz's vision faded to black.
