-Nialls POV-

We finally arrived at the signing, the journey was long; I was tired..and hungry.

As usual, before we met all the fans we went into a small room and met all the VIP's.

Just as we were about to enter the room we were abruptly stopped by the security;

'Just Niall, please.' he said, pushing me into the room.

I don't really know what I expected to see, but I definitely wasn't ready for what met me as I entered.

Shying up to her mother was a girl no older than 6 years old;

'Hello beautiful.' I whispered, and crouched down so I could make eye contact with her.

'This is Ella,' said her mother

'She was diagnosed with cancer 6 months ago, if you were wondering why she has no hair. She loves you, Niall. You're the reason she's held on all this time, every day she insists that shes going to meet you, marry you.'

I gazed down at the small girl, I could feel tears pricking at my eyes, I smiled and stroked her cheek.

'Can you keep a secret?' I whispered in her ear

'Yes' she replied, her cheeks flushing.

I reached over and brushed a strand of hair away from her ear,

'You're the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.'

I hear her take in a sharp breath, she reaches over and takes my hand,

'In the whole wide world?' she whispers, in awe.

'In the whole wide world.' I reply.

I pull her in towards me, she begins to cry, I stroke her back gently and kiss her forehead. I look up and see her mother in tears, I smile sympathetically and bury my head in Ella's hair.

'Hey Ella,' I whisper

'Yes' she replies snuggling closer to my chest.

'I was wondering, when you're a little bit older, do you want to be my wife?'

Her reaction was priceless, her bright blue eyes twinkled, she gasped, a huge smile plastered across her face;

'I love you.' she whispered, so quietly that I could barely hear

'I love you too, sweetheart' I said, kissing her on the cheek.

She breaks away from my embrace and runs towards her mother;

'Mummy! Mummy! Niall's going to marry me! I told you! I told you!'

I couldn't hold back the tears any longer, they poured down my cheeks at a shocking rate, Ella walked over and brushed them away;

'Don't cry honey bunny' she whispers, giggling and pecking my cheek

'I'm just so happy I've finally found my wife' I say, stroking her hair.

'Niall, it's time to go, the fans are waiting.' the security guard shouts. I feel my heart sink, I look towards Ella, her smile drops slightly. I crouch down and look into her eyes;

'Ella darling, your mummy has my number, call me whenever you want, I need to go and see some fans now, but remember, you will always be my special girl.' I stand up and walk away before the tears begin again.

Months passed and I heard nothing from Ella; every day I worried for her, the boys noticed, of course, but didn't say anything.

I was sat on the tour bus alone, playing the guitar when my phone rang, it was Ella's mother.

'Niall, sweetheart, Ella's gone.' I could hear her voice crack.

My heart seemed to stop. Such a kind, sweet, innocent girl. Her life only beginning and yet already ended.

'But before she died she told me to tell you something,'

I held my breath;

'She said heaven won't be heaven without you, she loves you and that you will always be her Honey Bunny.'
