A/N:
Very short and random stuff that I thought up on a whim, but read, enjoy and drop a review anyhow.
Sasuke, Neji, and closer bonding through cloud watching. friendship fic

"I still don't see anything." Neji drew his eyebrows together. He gazed intensely at the clouds, gave his admirable attention to them as much as he could, devoted whatever focus and concentration on them. Still, nothing.
"That's because you're not even trying." Sasuke replied plainly. Neji's eyebrows quirked. Was the Uchiha...mocking him in that usual I'm-too-cool-for-anything tone? Damn him, that Sharingan-empowered boy was far too cocky for his own good.
"Uchiha, are you...laughing at me?"
"...Only if you think so, Hyuuga."
Slanted heads. Death glares. A session that took up to a usual five seconds. Nothing strange, nothing out of the extraordinary. It was all a perfect Saturday morning for two jounins-awaiting-entry-to-the-ANBU-squad to lay down on grass banks and cloud-watch. Neji seriously didn't give a damn about those fluffy white puffy things, but his friend seemed to like looking at universal bodies for some weird unknown reasons.
"Hn, shut up."
"I'd say the same for you." Sasuke closed his eyes and snorted. He crossed a leg over another, propped it up against the grass. "And I doubt it's your place to say 'hn'. Wasn't that my line, Hyuuga?"
"You're too cocky for your own good, Uchiha." Neji rested his hands over his head.
Sasuke cracked open a threatening eye. It reeked of Sharingan. Byakugan activated in response.
"Hyuuga."
"Uchiha."
"HYUUGA."
"UCHIHA."
Then a voice broke out, which definitely belonged to neither.
"HYUUGA-SENSEI!"
"UCHIHA-SENSEI!"
The mentioned two both rolled their eyes, sighed, and sat up from where they were.
"When we finally get into ANBU," Neji started, "I'll never be someone else's sensei again."
"Ever." Sasuke confirmed the fact, then slid his hands into his pocket.
Two groups of three young gennins showed themselves on the edge of horizon in the distance, and dashed simultaneously at high speed towards the two jounins.
Neji took the chance, and glanced up.
Two puffy white clouds, with silver linings.
...So he still saw nothing in the clouds that fitted into the "things-that-look-like-Pakkun" category as mentioned by Sasuke, but cloud watching had never been his favorite, anyway.
