A little girl sits in the ruins of a forgotten city. She sat there next to her grandfathers dead body, crying. She was alone, no one around to tell her it was all right or to comfort her in her grieve over her lost grandfather. She couldn't just give up; give up on hope, life, and everybody of her tribe. Everyone else was lost, but she was not she had to fight on and live to keep the spirit of her tribe growing so they wouldn't be forgotten.

"Now I'm all alone. I need to survive for grandpa, for my tribe, for me." the little girl promised. She dragged the body over to the graveyard where many others have been buried. She started to dig a hole for her grandpa she wouldn't let him rot out in the middle of nowhere. Soon she was done and she said a little prayer for her grandpa. She bent down kissed her grandpa on the forehead and reach down into his chest pocket and pulled out a jewel; her tribes treasure the eldest of them always protected it..... that meant Eiko. She said on lat prayer and pushed him into the grave. She took one last look at her beloved grandpa, imprinting the image in her mind. She started to bury him while crying, she was sad that he was gone, that her whole tribe was gone, all but her.

When she was done she wept some more and then placed a large stone near the head of the grave, it had some word engraved on them, it was a gravestone. She took one more look at the grave before going to the wall of eidolons to pray for him and remember all the good times they had had together.

Eiko prayed the day away forgetting the time, she didn't realize the time till nightfall when she got cold and took a pause in her prayers. She looked around the walls were dark and she was alone. She stopped praying for the day and went back to Madain Sari to find something to eat.

She looked around Madain Sari for some food and some how managed to come up with things to cook. She didn't know too much about cooking but she thought she could make a soup or a stew. She took the things she gathered a brought them into the kitchen. She filled a pot with water and boiled it on the stove that never gets as hot as you want it. While it was nearing boiling Eiko chopped up the things she gathered. Eventually the water boiled and she tossed all the chopped things into it. She let it cook for a while and she thought about everything she did with her grandpa and all the others of her tribe.

She thought for a long time losing her grip on reality while the food slowly cooked. Eventually she caught a hold on reality and took the food of and began to eat. She thought it didn't taste all that bad, but then again she hadn't eaten anything for 2 days, she was helping her grandpa. When she was done she cleaned the whole kitchen and found a place to rest for the night and think about what she can do to help herself survive alone with no one to help her. When she finally drifted into sleep her thoughts were on her grandpa.
