"Fakir?"
Ahiru gasped.
"Fakir!"
… (2 days earlier)…
"Fakir?" Ahiru asked, her blue eyes sparkling in the moonlight.
Fakir held her hand. "Yeah?"
"Do you think Uzura would be worried if we stayed out here for a little longer?"
Fakir thought for a moment. "Maybe, but we can still stay out here."
Ahiru smiled. "Come on then!" She pulled him toward the center of the town.
Fakir chuckled to himself. Ahiru was always so fun to be around, and he just adored her. Her orange hair would glow in the sun when they were on their way to class, and her perky personality would always make him smile.
Before he snapped back to reality, Ahiru glanced over at him.
She knew he loved her, and she felt the exact same way towards him.
He was always there for her, and was going to protect her forever. Sure, they had a rocky relationship in the beginning, but then they became friends. And now they were becoming something more.
Ahiru sighed. She was really a duck, and Fakir knew that. But he still loved her. Ahiru also knew that one day she would go back to being a duck because that was what Drosselmeyer thought should happen.
"It's like a similar version of Romeo and Juliet," He had told her.
Both Fakir and Ahiru knew how the story would end, but they tried to ignore it and live the way they wanted.
But what they didn't know was that Drosselmeyer had something else planned in the future.
"Fakir, we're here."
Fakir came out of his thoughts and back to real life. "What?" And then he noticed where they were.
Ahiru had taken him to the lake in the center of the town, where she had lived as a duck.
The moon cast a glow on the surface of the water, and Ahiru took off her shoes and dipped her toes in. The once still lake had a small ripple getting bigger as moments went by.
Ahiru shivered.
"Idiot. Didn't it occur to you that it might be cold?" Fakir said, sitting down next to her.
Ahiru smiled. "No."
Fakir sighed, but smiled back. He took his jacket off and put it on Ahiru's shoulders.
"Better?"
Ahiru nodded. "Thank you, Fakir."
They sat on the grass, and made a few comments now and then, but mainly they just enjoyed each other's company.
… (Later that night)…
"Zzzzzz…" Ahiru snored softly when she fell asleep in Fakir's lap.
Fakir slowly stroked her hair, and then decided to take her home.
He carried her bridal style back to the girl's dormitory.
He opened her bedroom door, laid her on her bed and covered her up.
Fakir planted a small kiss on her forehead, and then he left.
Pike and Lillie watched from behind their bedroom doors, and then when he left, they ran to each other.
"Oh my gosh! Ahiru's totally a Fakir girl now!" Pike said, trying to be excited for Ahiru, but quiet enough not to wake anyone else up.
Lillie put her hands on her cheeks. "Poor Ahiru. She's going to mess up somehow, knowing how she is."
Pike nodded, and then they went back to bed
SilverCrystalWings: How was it? Good enough? Hopefully…
Ahiru: I fell asleep?
SilverCrystalWings: Fakir did carry you back to your room…
Ahiru: Well, yeah… =)
Rue: Are Mytho and I going to be in this story anytime soon?
SilverCrystalWings: Yep! Please R&R! =)
