Hello there. I decided to make a new fic-verse centering on Iris set in the game verse a few years later. Iris is about 10 in BW, and this is set about two years later. Even though it's game-verse, there WILL be WishfulShipping in the third story! YAAAAAAY! Let the story begin! Oh, and there's some one-sided IrisxOC but that's only temporary.

The alarm rang, startling the girl who was sleeping nearby. "RIIING!" The girl woke up, obviously still sleepy. She was about twelve years old, but looked like fourteen. "Good morning everyone." The girl rolled out of the bed and stood up, looking around the room. Walking toward the closet, she grabbed some clothes and headed into the bathroom nearby. After getting dressed, she heard the doorbell ring downstairs. She knew her mentor would probably get it, but she thought she should get it just in case. The girl ran down the stairs and opened the door. "A special letter for Drayden and Iris of Opelucid City Gym. It's an urgent letter, please open it ASAP. Thank you." Iris opened the letter after receiving it from the mailman, and it turned out to be from the International Dragon Clan. The International Dragon Clan was an extension of Johto's dragon clan for dragon trainers worldwide. Unlike the Dragon Clan in Johto, the members of the International Dragon Clan are not related. Iris and her mentor Drayden were both members. Iris read the letter out loud. Well, it was more of an invitation.

Seven o'clock in the evening

Blackthorn City Gym, Blackthorn City, Johto

Formal dress is expected.

A formal party hosted by the International Dragon Clan? Probably not what Iris would want to do, but Iris decided that it was necessary, as a Dragon-type gym leader and a future leader of the Unova branch of the International Dragon Clan. She decided to wake Drayden up. Drayden usually slept in, and this news was something that Iris could wake Drayden up about. She ran up the stairs again, but this time heading down the hallway leading toward Drayden's room. Iris's room was down the right hallway, and Drayden's was down the left. Running down the left hallway, Iris opened the door to Drayden's room, only to find that Drayden wasn't there. Probably went somewhere, Iris thought. Oh well, I'll have to find him if he's around the house. Iris ran down the stairs again and almost ran into a servant or two. "Whoops!"

A few minutes later, Iris found Drayden in the Pokémon training room. She didn't hesitate to say hi and tell him about the letter.

"The mailman gave me this letter from the International Dragon Clan. It's about a formal party in Johto somewhere."

Drayden took the letter from Iris and read it. "Hmm… Sounds like there's been some new members we weren't told about. We'll have to go to the party and find out. You'll be expected to come too, Iris. It's important to someone who's going to lead our branch of the International Dragon Clan someday."

Iris didn't object and just replied. "Sounds great. It's in a week, so there's plenty of time to get ready."

"Good. You know what to wear?"

"That's none of your business, but I do know."

Iris left the room where Drayden was training with his Haxorus and headed back upstairs.

Sorry it's kind of short, but I wanted to save the party for the next chapter. The OC will show up at the party. And I'm planning on adding some OCxOC pairings, but they'll be just temporary. I'll make up the OCs and add them along with the main OC. Sorry if I messed up on anything, I don't know much about formal parties or any of that XD. As for a little spoiler, the OC (Joshua) will fall in love with Iris.
