"AAHH!"
i heard a frantic scared scream coming from the living room. i ran in to see what it was. James laying on the couch. sweating and tears running down his face. I ran over to the couch and nealed down beside him and woke him up.
"James, JAMES get up!" i said as i tapped on his shoulders trying to wake him up. he finally sat up on the couch, and wiped his eyes.
"Logan, i had a nightmare." he said. i think he was shaking too. i rubbed his side and smiled.
"Its okay James, i'm here, and it'll be okay. i won't let anything hurt you," i said comfortingly, "..or ruin your hair." i continued as i rolled my eyes. "here sit up." i told him as i helped him move. i sat on the couch and put my legs up.
"now come here, James." he came to me and he sat there and laid in my arms. "James, you wanna tell me what your dream was about?" i asked him, as i petted his hair. he only liked it when i did that. i looked down at him with one arm wrapped around him safely.
"well,..." he sniffled through the tears and whimpers.
"...we...we, were in a car accedent and you..you...you d-didn't make it..." more tears fell down his face as he looked up at me and finished his sentance.
"Oh James, it's okay. i'm here. i'm not dead and i don't think i'm going to die anytime soon okay? i'll be here to protect you. i'm never going to leave your side, James. i promise. i'm never as far away as it may seem." i told him as i felt a tear coming and i let it fall because he knew he was mine.
"Really, Logie?" he said as he turned to look at me and i put my arm around his back to caress him as if you would caress a small sleeping child. he smiled at me and i lost all consentration. i nodded at his question, closed my eyes, then closed the gap between us with a kiss. sealed with passion. when the kiss broke i whispered, "always James. i'll be here for you. forever. i'll always love you and i'll always think of you. as long as you're here, i'll always be yours if you'll be mine."
he shed another tear as he kissed me this time and whispered, "that;s beautiful Logan. yes of course i'll always be yours."
