Dead, Hermione Jean Granger was dead. How could this be? All they wanted to do was take a swim in The Black Lake! Well I suppose you wonder what happened and here it is:

"Ron it's not that hard! The water's fine!" Hermione yelled across to the bank of the river where the ginger stood, too afraid to try and swim. Ronald shook his head, he had never learned to swim and he didn't want to start now. His ginger hair fell in his face as he looked at his bare feet. Hermione kept calling for him for a while until it went silent. Ron thought nothing of it for a few minutes, but it was not usual for Hermione to give up.

He looked up and screamed he saw the water filled with blood and Hermione lying dead, in the water. Lifeless, her arms spread out wide, her hair darkened from the mix of water and blood. Ron saw what she had hit her head on, a rock that lay in the black lake. It had seemed harmless before, but now it was the cause of death.

Ron's common sense kicked in and he ran, straight towards the castle. "HELP! HELP!" he cried tears running down his face. No one came. "HELP, PLEASE" his knees buckled underneath him and he cried. Why couldn't anyone hear him? Had he died also? Ron's screams were not heard by any human.

But something did hear the Weasley, they had met in their second year. The giant spider named Aragog and his children. They would not lose their chance in killing him this time.

Dead, Ronald Billius Weasley was dead. At least now he could be with his love, Hermione Jean Granger. Well I suppose this matters, a happy ending to a sad story.
