Kirihara never really stopped believing in Santa. Even though he's fourteen now- as well as the captain of Rikkai's tennis team- he still believes. In his first two years of junior high, Niou and Marui continued to tease him about it... tried to tell him that Santa wasn't real. But he refused to believe them.

He wouldn't give up hope that Santa Claus was real.

Every year on Christmas day, when he woke up in the early morning, he'd always seen his various presents under the tree. And for the most part, he always got what he wanted- his Christmas List ranged from video games, to new tennis gear... to being able to see his boyfriend, Hiyoshi Wakashi, daily- and he was all the more excited when he actually got it. He had no reason whatsoever to stop believing.

--

It was finally Christmas Eve and he went to bed early! He wanted Santa to come and- though his sister always tended to be a bitch about it and tell him that he was being stupid- he knew that the earlier he went to bed, the faster presents would come.

Hiyoshi didn't call him tonight like he usually did. Hyoutei's new captain knew how Kirihara felt about Christmas and Santa, so he said his 'good night's and 'I love you's early that evening and let his sometimes bratty but adorable boyfriend get some sleep. Kirihara appreciated that.

He didn't want to wait anymore!

--

Thud!

He jolted awake at the sound of something coming from the living room. Santa Claus? he wondered and looked over at his digital clock on his nightstand. 12:25am. Did Santa usually come this early?

Rubbing the sleep from his bright eyes, he uncurled himself from his warm blankets and rolled out of bed quietly. The floor was cold but he didn't care, he wanted to see Santa!

With a grin, he tiptoed to his door, opened it, and checked to make sure no one was looking before he slowly crept from his chilly room, avoiding all the squeaky parts of the floor that he knew where there. He's snuck out a few times to see Hiyoshi, he knows what he's doing now.

Santa...

He bit his lip nervously and made his way to the end of the hallway, silent as he could be, and looked over at the lit-up bright tree. It was so pretty when it was dark in the house that he momentarily forgot his mission and just walked right into the living room without a second thought. Shit. What if Santa...?

"What's this? A child awake?"

Another jolt, this time in his heart, and he quickly turned around, biting his lip even harder. He'd been caught...

"I'm sorry, Santa, I-"

He stopped short when he noticed that the person behind him was most definitely not Santa Claus.

"...Hiyoshi?" he asked, blinked profusely. "What are you... doing here? How did you get in? What are you- Why are you- WHAT."

He watched as the brown haired boy smirked and pointed up. "I have my reasons, dork."

Green eyes followed where Hiyoshi was pointing but before he could even react, he was pulled into his rival and boyfriend's arms and lips were pressed to his, inviting, begging, pleading for him to open up. He did so willingly and closed his eyes, wrapping his arms around his neck and holding tight.

He never saw the smirking Niou Masaharu outside his window... but he still believes in Santa. After all, it must be a miracle that Hiyoshi managed to get inside.
