Chapter One: Meeting

I pushed my way onto the Hogwarts Express and found my own compartment. Most of the students were still saying goodbye to their families. I live in a magical beings orphanage, my mom died when I was very young and I never met my father. The only person I really wanted to say goodbye to was Melissa, my best friend. She would've been here for me to say goodbye too except she has a nasty cold and I told her to stay home. She graduated from Hogwarts years ago, but she still tells me tons of stories about it. If she could go back, I'm sure she would.

This was all her idea, 'Go to Hogwarts, if Dumbledore thinks you belong there, then you do!' After 5 years of homeschooling, she finally nagged until I gave in. Melissa just didn't know. She was normal. She didn't know what it was like to be a half breed. A half breed of the worst sort. I would prefer to be muggleborn, at least they get respect. My kind is murdered every day, or shunned.

I'll give this a chance, if it's too bad, I'll just leave. No one can stop me.

The most important thing is to make sure no one finds out who I really am. It'll just be very bad if that happens, I'll have to leave.

Seconds after the crimson train started moving, a blonde boy walked in, followed by two bulky boys. He was gorgeous. He had blonde hair that was so blonde it could have passed for white, and the greyest eyes, tinted with blue held my firm attention.

"I was just telling my father," he stopped mid-sentence when he saw me.

The two chubby boys behind him, they looks so similar. They both had dark hair and were short and sstubby looking. But they didn't look have any expression on their face, it was just empty. The blonde boy caught my attention back immediately, he was beautiful. Right now he had this superior look on his face, but I know if he just smiled, he'd be breath-taking.

His nasty look turned into an adorable grin, "And who are you? Too old to be a first year."

I had to laugh, "No, I'm a sixth year."

"How come I've never seen you before?"

"I just transferred."

He sat on my side of the compartment and waved to the bulky boys, they sat across from him. He sat a little bit too close and I inched over so I would have my own space.

"Why?"

"Nosey aren't you?"

His questioning was really starting to annoy me. I had no clue who he was and he had no right to interrogate me. I stood up, deciding that maybe it was time to explore the train a little bit.

"I'm gonna go now, you can have the compartment."

He grabbed my wrist and instinctively, I felt my hands start to burn. I knew what was coming if I didn't calm myself down. I just hate to be manhandled.

"You're not going anywhere, I'm talking to you. People go when I tell them they can."

"I'm leaving," I grabbed his hand and I knew he could feel the fire because he let go instantly.

"What the bloody-"

I didn't hear the rest because I had left, slamming the compartment door behind me.

DRACO POV

She was gorgeous. Prettier than anyone I have ever seen. Her black curly hair went past her shoulders and it even had purple high lights. The greenest eyes I've ever seen. Curvy in all the right places.

That was one hell of a spell though, to make her hands burn like that. She must be a really good witch to be able to do non-verbal spells already.

"She's feisty, I like her." Crabbe and Goyle just stared at me, "Well? What do you think?"

"There's something...off...about her," was all that Crabbe would say.

Goyle as usual, was stuffing his face with snacks from his trunk.

"You're right...but I want her," he grinned while I sat back and stretched out. This was going to be an interesting year.
