It's been ten years since I've seen him. Ten years since I've played tennis with the little brat. Ten whole years since I've heard his annoying phrase, "Mada mada Dane".
During those ten years, I've had my fair share of girlfriends. Sure, they were there, but I guess you can say I didn't love them. Maybe a little, but not much.
Then one day he's on my porch, that same smirk there on his face.
"Momo-sempai." Is all he says. "Echizen. Back from America?" "Maybe."
I let him in. He took off his shoes and threw his suitcase on the bed. Putting him in a head lock a rubbed his head.
Don't make me change my mind
"Takashi stop." He grunted as he tried to wriggle out of my grasp. "O-oi! You said my name!" "Yea, so?" He said and managed to get out. He looked up at me with that cocky attitude that I learned to get over and love.
He walked into the kitchen and pulled a can on Fanta from the fridge.
Even with his back turned towards me, he still looks beautiful.
I snuck up behind him and wrapped the boy in a hug.
Cause I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
"Momo-sempai, what are you doing?" He asked, tensing up. From here, I can smell his citrus smelling shampoo. Intoxicating.
"What's it look like?" We stood there for a few brief moments, and I was afraid he'll leave me again. "Missed me that much?" he finally asked, I can practically hear the smirk in his voice.
"More than you know." He turned around and brought his lips to mine, in a small chaste kiss. "I missed you too….Takashi."
