My first D/G story! Thanks, Chris, for beta-ing! R&R Please!
I own nothing, or I would be rich.
Ginny smiled, closing her eyes as she felt the wind in her hair. She could feel someone watching her, and figured it was Harry. She heard someone flying past her, and stopped abruptly. She opened her eyes, struggling to regain balance, but fell off her broom.
She tried to turn as she fell, but heard a whooshing sound, and was caught. She turned to thank her saviour, only to realize it was very probably her captor.
She was in the arms of Draco Malfoy.
"Malfoy." she spat.
"Weaselette." the Slytherin sneered.
"What do you want?"
"It wouldn't have been polite to let you fall." Malfoy answered.
"You didn't just come out here to catch me!"
"No, I came out to the Quidditch Pitch to fly." he sneered.
"Could you put me down now?" she said, unable to think of a witty answer.
"And why would I do that?" Malfoy raised an eyebrow.
"Because I asked nicely."
"Hmm… not good enough, Weaselette."
Ginny glared at Malfoy, trying desperately not to show that she rather liked Malfoy holding her.
"Please?" she asked.
"No." Malfoy said, flying to the ground. Once they had landed, Ginny walked towards her broom – now lying abandoned on the grass – but was held back.
"What?" she demanded.
Malfoy looked thoughtful, his normal, scheming sneer replaced by something nicer.
"What?" she repeated.
Malfoy didn't answer, instead pulling her up in front of him.
"Malfoy, what-"
"Shh…" Draco cut her off, laying a finger on her lips.
Ginny was confused until he pressed his lips on hers. Her first thought was to push him away, then she realized she didn't want to.
Electricity shot through her body, everywhere her skin was touching his. She leaned into the kiss, wrapping her arms around Malfoy's lightly.
Malfoy slowly pulled away, still holding her close, "Call me Draco." he whispered before bringing his lips back to hers.
