Finally, alone in the spirit world, Korra was going to tell Asami how she felt.
"We should set up camp. It's getting dark." Asami sighed.
'I'm gonna tell her, I can, I will ... just say it already, c'mon just...'
"Korra? Korra? Hello? Anyone home?" Asami pulled korra away from her thoughts by waving a hand in front of her eyes
"C'mon Korra, what's up? We've been in the spirit world for a whole day and you haven't even bothered to talk to the spirits or me."
'Oh God! I should say something!'
"Sorry Asami I...just...well ... I ..." Korra stuttered.
"Hey, don't worry" Asami placed a supportive hand on Korra' s shoulder, " You can tell me anything"
They looked into each others eyes.
"Well, Asami, the thing ... is that ...I kindoflikeyou."
"I like you too Korra."
"No, I like you more than just 'I like you'."
"Korra, you're not making any sense."

Pause.
.
" I think I ...love. You.
.
.
"Wow..."

Korra had several tears rolling down her cheeks.
"You shouldn't have said anything.." Asami started.
"Oh spirits, I'm so sorry. Maybe I should just go and.." Korra rushed, more tears flowed from her eyes.
"...you should've just gone ahead and kissed me." Asami finished, pulling her hand from Korra's shoulder and wrapping both arms around the Avatar' s waist.
"I'll be sure not to make your mistake" Asami whispered before brushing her lips on Korras. An act eagerly accepted and returned by Korra who had just tangled her hands in Asami's coal-black hair.
'Well, that went better than expected'
