23 Augustus 2034 Santura Night Sunday Dreadnought Mountain
Deep in a cavern of the infamous Dreadnought Mountain. A group of people are standing in front of a large metal door with and red orb on it.
"You sure this door will lead to an old Ryuman research facility, Nyarai?" Asks Ray Sulto, a 13 year old boy with brown hair that reaches his shoulders and had azure blue eyes. "I'm sure, Ray." said a middle aged female with pointy ears, short black hair, yellow eyes. She wears a expedition hat on her head, a light green shirt with an brown vest, black pants and brown boots with a gun holder attached to his belt. "From all the data i assembled from the other ruins. This ruin will hold all the answers we seek." Nyarai explained, walking to the door, taking out a blue orb with a golden ring attached out of his pocket and hold it in front of the door as it glow and shot a beam of light to the red orb.
The red orb started to glow and the door opened slowly upwards revealing a worn down metal hallway with yellow light.
"Alright everyone! It will be dangerous from this point on, Stay together and don't touch anything without my permission." Nyarai ordered, as she, Ray and the other people enter the mysterious ruin.
"This place looks a bit more cleaner and neater than the ones we went." The cat asks.
"It sure is, Gill." Ray said look at the hall while walking through it. "And from the looks of it, this place has some juice left."
"Maybe we can finally find the answer you looking for!" Gill said with confidence.
"I hope so." Ray sighed.
After a couple of minutes, the group arrived at the control room of the research facility. Nyarai then gives the order to half of the group check every room that is close by, while the rest help her deciphering the network and try to open some doors that lead to the rest of the facility.
At the moment Ray and Gill are looking through some old high tech relics in a room close by.
"Damn! They really made some interesting stuff around here." Ray said, looking at a couple of gadgets on a shelf and pick up a grey headset. "And what's this little thing thingamabob?" He then look at his friend who use his wing to get on the top shelf from the other side of the room.
"Don't know, but there is even smaller ones too." Gill point out, picking up on that fit on his head. "Any idea what those are for?
"Beats me." He shrugged. "I think we should go back to Nyarai. Maybe she might have found something about the-" Suddenly a sound was heard from Ray pouch, he takes out a square communicator from it and picks up the call.
"Ray, this is Nyarai. Did you found anything?"
"Yea. Me and Gill found a room filled with gadgets." Ray explain. "There are also a lot of funny looking headset here."
"That an excellent discovery." Nyarai answered. "We have found similar devices in other Ryuman facilities, those headset are what the Ryuman use for communicate with each other, but it has other features such as augmented reality function."
"A what now function?" Ray asks, having no clue what that mean.
"Just put the device on the back of your head. Trust me, it is 100% safe" Nyarai told.
Ray looked at the device for a couple of seconds before doing what the elf told him to do and put the device on the back of his head. The headset then came to life as symbol, signs and see through window appeared out of nowhere.
"What?! What the heck are those?!" Ray exclaimed, Seeing the holographic screens floating in the room.
"Ray, what's wrong?" Gill asked.
"Don't you see those glowing things in the room, Gill?" Ray points at an some words that was above the Moonchi. Gill looked up, seeing nothing out of the ordinary.
"Calm down, you can see the holo-projection thanks to the headset. You can turn it off with a switch that is located on the right side of the device." The explorer explained.
Ray placed his hand on the right side of the headset and felt a button, just like the elf said. He pressed it and all of the images vanished. "Wow." Astonished, Ray pressed the button again and the holo-projections reappeared. "Okay, now that is cool."
Feeling left out, Gill decided to put on the smaller version of the headset, as he now saw the holo-projections too. "Nifty!" He said, but then realize. "Wait, why would the Ryumans made smaller version of these?"
"We've already have a theory about it, Gill." Nyarai told the Moonchi. "We believe that some Santurains work together with the lost race in secrecy, even now, we suspect that there are some hiding the secrets of the Ryuman forgotten tech, history and many more. Some say that some in the government are agents, making sure that no one would find the facilities that are scattered around the world. So that people with evil attention won't get their hands on them."
"I've heard about those rumors to back at home." Ray add, and then realizing something. "Wait, if there are agents in the government. And that they sponsored this mission: does that mean they will hit the tech we found here in a place we can't find it again?"
"Everything is possible. But even if the rumors are true or not, we need to stay on our toes." Nyarai said. "But enough crumbs and thee, for now i need you two to rendezvous with Gervaso at the south section. I can sent his location to the heatset won't get lost. Oh, and make sure you bring one for him. It will be much easier to navigate with those devices then me calling every time on the phone." She said, ending the call.

"Hey there, Ray! Gill!" The blonde man greets the pre teen with an with a Jamaican accent. He notices the handle in Ray's hand and and asked. "Ohh~ And what do you have there?"
"It's a headset. The Ryuman used for their work, or that's the gist what Nyarai explained." Ray answered. Handing the device to the man. "She told me to give this to you since it will help us exploring the lab."

Gervaso saw the button and pressed it after putting the headset on. Feeling astonished as he sees the holo-projections for the first time. "Wow! This is so wicked! I knew the Ryuman made some neat trinkets, but this is so far the coolest!"

"Really now?" Gervaso said, as his lips started to form a grin. "Bet our favorite tech geek would love to disassembled and reassembled this machine, bet he'll add funky stuff to spice it up."
"If that sleazebag even touch them, i'll kick his sorry excuse of an butt to kingdom come!" A small holograph version of Nyarai appeared right in front of the gang, which surprised them as they jumped back.

"Calm down, this is the communication function that i told you guys about." Nyarai explained. "But right now i need you three to be focus now. Close to your location is what look like a vault of some kind, accounting to the files i have dug up up it's some sort of gateway."

"Don't know, we're still decryption the rest of the files. But i did managed to get the clearing to enter the vault." A pop up appeared in front of the boys with 'Clearings level A granted.' writing on it. "Use the clearing i gave you to examine the room with the gateway, but do not in any circumstances touch the machine." She turn to Gervaso pointing at him with a dagger stare glare. Before the young adult could respond, Nyarai end the call as her hologram disappeared. "Dude, why does she have to say that." Gervaso asked, resting his hands on his hips.

"Now how about we take a peek of this gateway?" He asked without a care in the world and head towards the vault

"Wow… Is that the gateway?" Ray gawked, moving closer to it with his friends.
"It's pretty huge." Gervaso said, examining the room. "Makes you wonder why they made it this way."
"Not to mention where that gate leads to." Gill adds, heading towards the hoop machine with Ray.
The three inspected every corner of the room, while unaware that a figure emerge from the shadow slowly making its way to Gervaso with a piece of clothing in its hand. But before the intruder could make a move, Ray saw the figure and yelled to Gervaso.
"Gervaso! Behind you!" Gervaso react to the warning and quickly turn around, deliver a swift side kick to the figure's face, but the intrude quickly raise their left arm to blocked the attack and quickly jumped backwards to avoid another kick.
"My, what quick reactions you have. And here i thought it would be a day in the park" Said a sexy women voice, the three look at the exit and saw a woman in her late twenties with short jet-black hair, her eyes pure silver, dressed with a black jacket with a red button-up tee and torn-up short shorts that fit perfectly with her body that make every male drool, along with knee high black and red heeled boots. She had a small red shield-like gauntlet that had a lizard head design on her left arm.
"Who the hell are you?!" Ray demand, as he quickly stand beside Gervaso, drawing his sword that is made out of wood out of his scabbard.
"Didn't know one teach you to say your name first before asking others? Kids this days, i swear." She giggled with a mocking tone in her voice. "Well if you want to know, you can call me by my nickname the Silver Hagedis."
"Silver Hagedis? The famous thief? Why would someone like you want this junk of hunk? And how did you even get here?" Gervaso asks.
"I could ask the same thing about you and the boy over there. What would a child like you be here in big dangerous place like this?" She asks to Ray.
"That none of your business!" He answered. "And I suggest you leave this place, we outnumbered you to three to one."
"That right!" Gill said. "We won't let you take anything from here!"
"Something tells me that you're the running gag in the group, little cub." She said, seeing Gill's shocking face of disbelief. "But enough chit chat." The Silver Hagedis said, pulling out a small handle from the lizard's mouth as it turn into a single edge spear. "I suggest you step away from that machine, unless you want a sparking."
"Like hell we will!" Ray shout, dashing towards the thief as his sword is covered in wind. Ray then swing his sword downward, but the Silver Hagedis blocks the blow with the tip of her spear.
"My my, aren't we peppy today?" She asks, Ray then swing his sword to the women a couple of times, but she blocked every attack with her spear. Gervaso then swing his feet, shooting a fireball at the Silver Hagedis as Ray jumped out of the way. The woman smirked as to the Scale Heart's members surprise, she dived into shadow dodging the fireball as it hits the wall instead.
"She's also Ascender!?" Ray gawked, standing beside Gervaso on the lookout for her as Gervaso used his nose to find her scent.
The Silver Hagedis jumped out of the shadow in front of them, swing her spear launches a burst of energy at them and sending the two towards the machine where Gill hides behind a computer console.
"Come on now. Is that the best you boys can do?" The women asks. "I thought the Scale Hearts was supposed one of the strongest guilds in Santura."
"Don't get cocky! We're just warming up." Ray explained, getting back on his feet.
"And trust me, little dude here have a very short fuse." Gervaso add, using the railing to getting up.
"Oh~ sound scary.." She said, but to her surprised the door burst opens and Nyarai with couple of her man stormed into the room point their weapon to the Silver Hagedis.
"Put your weapon away and hold your hands in the air!" The elf threat.
"What?! I thought i locked the door tight. How did you break in? And how did you get here so fast?" The Silver Hagdis asked.
"I didn't study Ryuman technology for nothing." The elf answered. "Also Gill called us."
The thief turned to Gill holding Ray's communication device. "How do you like that? Not bad for a running gag!" He smirk triumphantly to her.
The Silver Hagdis sighed, withdrawing her weapon and hold her hands in the air. "Okay okay. I know when to call a quit." She then look at Ray and said. "You're quite the sneaky little boy, distracting me while your Moonchi pet call for help with your communicator."
"You can thank my friends, they the ones who taught me how to win a fight in many ways." Told Ray, rubbing his nose.
"Now that your question are been answered, i would like to ask a couple of things to you after we cuff you."
"Oh? So you're into S&M, aren't you?" The thief asked, which cause Nyarai to bluse while the others trying not to laugh. Except for Ray and Gill who has no clue what so funny about what the thief said.
But before the pre-teens could asked, a ear shattering echoed through the halls of the ruins, forcing everyone to cover their ears. At that moment the device suddenly came to live, a whirlpool of red light appear inside the hoop.

"Gill, did you touch the computer by any chance?" Ray asks his childhood friend.
"I didn't!" He reply.
And before anyone could react, the machine also came to live and a whirlpool of light appeared in the hoop as it started sucking everything up. Nyraia quickly react and use her magic to make a wall of ice, surrounding around her and the group.
"We have to get away before the gateway drag us in!" The elf summon more walls of ice leading towards the exist. "Hurry! The ice won't last for long!" And true to her words, the wall of ice started to crack as winds starting to get stronger.
"The portal is going nuts! If we don't do something now, we'll all be sent to a one way trip to other worlds!" The thief explained.
"Other what!?" Gervaso asked, not hearing to what she said. Just then the wall of ice breaks down and everyone quickly grabbed what remain of the ice, using to navigate to the exit while struggling against the wind.
"Ray! I… Can't hold on!" Gill said, slowly losing his grip on Ray's vest..
"Don't give, Gill!" Ray encourage his tiny friend.
"Did that Moonchi called him Ray?" The thief mumbled to herself as she look at Ray. "Now do I think about, he look just like-"
"Ray… I'm losing… it!" Gill groaned, the wind got stronger then ever as Gill can't hold it any longer and was about to get sucked into the machine
"Gill!" Ray screamed, letting go, quickly air dash towards his tiny friend, catching Gill before they got sucked into the light.
"Ray! Gill!" Gervaso cried out to them.
The thief also let go, dive into the light, before smoke suddenly came from within the terminal and the machine stopped completely.
