Annabeth Chase was not a jealous person.
Okay, there was that one time. And, well, that one rather nasty incident. And okay, there was another as well.
And a horribly ugly one involving—
Well, never mind that.
Annabeth Chase did not consider herself to be a jealous person.
Well, for the most part.
But...
Well, Percy had looked a bit too pleased for her liking when he kissed that old boar.
And okay, it was typical of campers to smirk or giggle or whatever. But Percy Jackson—
He just looked positively ecstatic at the thought of kissing the worn, grimy snout of the equally filthy boar.
And, well, she couldn't help but wonder if his smirk as they were thrown into the lake had anything to do with that particular incident.
A disturbing thought, yes.
But, really, no one could just look that excited about kissing that hideous thing and not think anything of it.
But really, Annabeth Chase did not consider herself to be a jealous person. There were only about five hundred and seven exceptions—the boar, of course, topping the list.
AN: Percy/Boar, for the record, is canon. (See deleted scene "I Kiss Something Ugly.") I didn't just make this up. And, well, someone needed to write a fic, and then Kelly told me to, so this happened. In my defense, it was late, and I was bored. That's how most of these fics seem to be happening lately. So, happy Borcy shipping, and I hope you enjoyed this. Oh, and thanks very much for reading, of course.
