Amy Rose's stomach growled loudly as she sighed, stretching her arms as she yawned loudly while being surrounded by the jungle foliage populating the Mystic Ruins. "Oh, it's so boring! When is Big gonna come back with that fast food!?"
She then noticed a giant obese cat heading her way from the east, being at the foggy jungles of the Mystic Ruins as the fat cat glanced down at her, being purple with a noticeable shade of blue.
"Hello? Are you my Foggy?" The cat asked as he moved his hands about, glancing down at Amy.
"Foggy?" Amy squinted as she placed her hands on her hips. "Well it is quite foggy here, but otherwise no, Big, I'm Amy! And your pet's name if Froggy!"
"Foggy is not a pet, he's my best friend! And my name is Bag!" The cat, Bag, responded as he picked up Amy and shook her violently, dropping her as he had a confused expression on his face. "Although on that note, my memory is a little bit foggy..."
Amy groaned as she rubbed the back of her head, glancing up at Bag The Cat. "Gee, you think? You're not even the guy that I was waiting for!"
"...Oh well!" Bag admitted as he went through the thick fog, calling out for his apparent best friend. "Foggy, come out wherever you are!"
Amy sighed as she dusted off her red dress, folding her arms together. "I'll never understand big, mentally defunct cats like Big..." She felt her stomach rumble as she groaned in annoyance. "And I'll never not get annoyed at being hungry!"
Meanwhile, Big The Cat was waddling through Station Square, having just gotten back his fishing pal Froggy after seeing him rescued by Dry Bowser, who was swimming in the sea.
"Thanks, Mr. Dry Bowser! I don't know how to thank you!" Big exclaimed as he shook his head.
"Don't mention it. I'm always... somewhere, doing something for no reason given whatsoever," Dry Bowser commented as he went back into the sea to swim some more.
Big waved goodbye as he glanced down at Froggy, who had a blank expression on his face as Big shrugged and headed into the inner parts of the modern metropolis. He had no idea what he was doing or what to do next, but can you blame a carefree big cat like him?
