After the legendary trio graduated from hogwarts, they had become aurors, risking their lives daily to try and defeat the dark side.

They all lived in a nice apartment in the upper section of downtown London (is there a downtown London? I've never been there so I wouldn't know.) their flat was not huge, but seemed to be the perfect size for the best friends. They had their own rooms, a kitchen/ living room, a dining room, a library/ office, and an odd little room that they kept odd little knick- knacks in.

It was on a Saturday that 21 year old hermione was cleaning out the small little room.

Ron and Harry were at work, doing some paperwork, or something like that.

Hermione looked about the same as she had for 3 years, she was pretty, not drop-dead-gorgeous, but nice. The same color eyes and hair she always had, but her hair had become a bit straighter.

Ron and Harry were both tall, with a strong build. They still had the mischievous faces they had had while at Hogwarts, and sometimes still acted like children.

"We're back," called a deep voice a few minutes later.

"Why are you here so early," Hermione asked, emerging from the stuffed up little room to greet her two best friends with a kiss on the cheek.

Ron said quickly that they decided to take a break and go out for the night, Hermione grinned, she thought that was a great idea, and went to go get ready.

Hermione emerged an hour later wearing a floral skirt and tank top, she linked arms with Ron and Harry, and they walked to diagon alley, and then emerged into the muggle world. Tonight they would be normal muggles, out for a night on the town.

They stepped into a dance club a few minutes later, and Harry left to get drinks, while hermione got a table (Ron had to go to the loo).

Hermione sat down, admiring the couples on the dance floor, and she didn't notice a nice-looking young man walk up to her, until he said hello

"Why, hello Draco," she exclaimed.

She had become his "friend" in 7th year when he had decided to turn against you-know-who.

Draco smiled; he had always liked hermione, admiring the fact that she never gave up. "so what have you been doing lately?."

They chatted for a while until Harry came over, and then Ron came over, the boys exchanged pleasantries, and Draco asked Hermione if he could talk to her privately.

He led her to a secluded corner.

"Hermione, I've been wanting to tell you this for a long time but.i..we could...maybe."
