Ino was particularly sensitive to Sakura running her fingers through her long blond hair. She was fairly sure Sakura suspected that it was something she liked in general, and not just something she enjoyed from her.
The truth was, however, that it was only Sakura who could get her to shiver when she felt her index finger and thumb twirl stands of her hair when they were lazing together, Ino's head in her lap.
Sakura had control over her body like no one else Ino had ever met. It was something she suspected that Sakura always had, but that Ino had never bothered to notice when they were children. Another thing she had missed was just starting to really see that as she grew up, along with that control came strength.
That potential for strength was something Sakura always had, something else Ino has always missed when they were growing up together. She was too busy protecting and sheltering her to stand back and look at her.
Sakura threading her fingers through her hair always highlighted her control, but it never showcased her strength. It was just enough for Ino, she still wasn't ready to come to terms with how much she'd missed those years they were inseparable.
