When Wilson reached over to grab the other half of his sandwich, he was surprised to find it gone. He lifted his head up to see what had happened to it to find that House was eating it.

"Get more mustard next time," he said.

"Couldn't you have at least asked?" Wilson asked, even though he knew it would be pointless.

"But you looked so content working," House said and set his cane on Wilson's desk. "I didn't want to interrupt you." He took a big bite of the sandwich and then closed his eyes and sighed in a mocking manner.

Wilson took a deep breath and closed his eyes tightly before opening them again. "Is there something you want? As you already pointed out, I am working."

"Cuddy seems to think I need to hire new people," House said and finished off rest of sandwich. "I don't want to. So I'm avoiding her."

"Or maybe you're avoiding that you pushed away the few people on earth who can stand to see you on a daily basis."

House tapped his chin in a faux thoughtful manner before shaking his head. "Nope. I'm avoiding Cuddy."

Wilson rubbed his eyes. "How long to plan to avoid Cuddy?"

"How long do you plan to harp on this?" House said and leaned back in his chair. "It's really fascinating to watch you in this fruitless pursuit to get me to talk about my feelings."

"Well," Wilson said in clipped tones as he turned back to his work, "since I can't get you to open up I suppose this session is over."

"And just in time for General Hospital," House said, standing up. Limping over to the door, he said, not even bothering to his head around, "Dinner on you tonight?"

"Okay."
