Violet isn't much of a sailor if Klaus would say. Sunny already has made 5 holes in the boat as they rode away from Count Olaf and Ishmael. Could peace be found? After years of Count Olaf making the Baudelaire orphans lives miserable, could they finally have settled down? Klaus of course without anything to read was miserable. Sunny being scolded for chewing on the boat, nothing else to chew on, she was definitely miserable. Violet had nothing to invent. Just miserable right? See, without Count Olaf there the orphans seemed more depressed than ever. Sailing on for days the ocean seemed to go on forever.
