Coffee's Not a Date?

Santana nervously fidgeted in her seat. She had asked Quinn to meet her here at noon for coffee. Getting coffee is a friendly thing right? Of course. Friends do it all the time. So why was she so nervous? Did Quinn think it was a date? Would it be a lame first date if it was indeed a date? Wait, why was she even thinking about dating Quinn? Santana was brought out of her inner musings when the subject of her thoughts sat down in front of her.

"Santana? Are you okay?" Quinn asked, slightly concerned over the deep creases in her friends forehead.

"What? Yeah. I'm fine. I'm good. Just chilling like a villain! You know." Santana internally cringed at her lack of suave. Did she really just say chilling like a villain? Could she get any lamer?

Quinn giggled at the clearly flustered Latina in front of her. She couldn't help but think that her friend's nervousness was cute.

"So since you're clearly chilled, I'm gunna go get a coffee. Want anything? Maybe something warm so you don't over freeze with your chilliness?" Quinn laughed.

"Haha very funny Q! But no thanks I'm cool with my chilly self!" Santana said. She couldn't help but watch her friend walk away from her. The little swish in her hips had her seriously reconsidering her previous thoughts. Maybe dating Quinn Fabray wouldn't be that bad at all.
