Sasuke and Sakura have been friends since they were kids. But one day Sasuke's family moves them to Sound so that he can go to school but he asks Sakura to wait for him and when he returned he would make her his girlfriend. Whole story posted as one chapter. Completed.

A little girl sat on the grass whipping he tears away. She had Pink hair and green eyes. She had no friends because the kids always teased her for having a huge forehead which she tried to hide with her bangs. But in reality she was really pretty. She would grow up to be a beautiful young lady. After the children left her alone to cry a young boy approached her.

"W-what come to make fun of me some more" he pink haired girl said through her tears.

"And why would I do that" the boy asked her.

"All the other kids did" She replied.

"Well I'm not going to" He replied.

She whipped away some of her tears and looked up at the boy in front of her, he was really cute. The boy had onyx eyes and jet black hair and pale skin. She could easily get lost in his eyes.

"You're the girl there always making fun of. Trying to hide your forehead with your bangs huh" He said. She only nodded. "You shouldn't listen to them" he told her taking a seat next to her on the grass.

"It's hard when everyone is making fun of you" She told him her eyes cast downwards and her bangs fell into her face once more. "I try not to listen but it's hard when you're alone."

"True, but you don't have to be alone anymore. I could be your friend" He offered "What do you say?"

"b-but I don't even know your name"

"I'm Sasuke, Sasuke Uchiha." He told her, she turned to hide her blush from the boy.

"It's nice to meet you I'm Sakura" She whispered under her breath

"I can't hear you speak up" he told her

"Sakura my name is Sakura Haruno"

Suddenly an older boy approached them he looked just like Sasuke only he was a little older.

"There you are Sasuke, mom wants us home supper is almost ready"

"Aa Itachi" Sasuke replied and got to his feet.

"So I guess I will see you tomorrow Sakura"

"Oh and before I go, your pretty don't let anyone tell you otherwise." He said. Sakura's eyes widened and stared at his retreating back.

After a few minutes of walking towards his house his brother Itachi said "so who's your girlfriend?"

"She not my girlfriend, she's just a friend" Sasuke said with a blush on his pale cheeks.

"Whatever you say little brother" Itachi said and poked his brother in the forehead.

Sasuke and Sakura Would hang out every day from that day on; he would pick her up at her house every morning. He showed her how to ignore people and would even stand up for her when others teased her, they were inseparable. People also hated him because of the fact that his family owned the Uchiha Corporation the most successful leading technology company, meaning he had money. Sasuke would often get into fights, but Sakura never left his side; He made her smile every day.

One Saturday Sasuke was getting ready to meet Sakura at the park, he had just finished putting on his shoes when his mother called him."Sasuke wait where are you going?"

"I'm going to see Sakura" He replied annoyed that he was being held up.

"I want to meet this girl invite her over for supper tonight"

Sasuke ran down the streets of Kohnoha till he reached the spot he was to meet Sakura, the park.

"Sasuke!"Sakura greeted.

"Sorry I'm late, my mother wants to invite you over for supper tonight" he told her

"Really?" She replied with a bright smile. A smile that only Sasuke got the privilege of seeing, it made him feel wired.

"I wouldn't be asking if she didn't" He stated

"Do you want to play hide and seek Sasuke?" Sakura asked. Sasuke hated playing hide and seek put it was her favorite game and he could never say no to her.

"Aa. Go hide" Sasuke walked up to a tree and began counting to 100. Sakura ran off to the other side of the park that had more bushes and trees that she could hide behind. She was about to crouch down in some bushes when a group of kids surrounded her.

"Hey pinky, you're the girl who is friends with the Uchiha"

"Yes" Sakura replied as they made a circle around

"Well we don't like the Uchiha, which means we don't like you"

"Were going to teach you what happens to people who are friends with that Uchiha"

One of the kids pushed Sakura down to the ground. "Ahh" She screamed as they proceeded to kick her while she was down. She covered her head trying to protect her head from the kicks. They started laughing.

Sasuke had just finished counting when he heard Sakura scream. He took off in the direction her heard her scream running as fast as he could. When he got there he found Sakura in a fetal position protecting her head with her hands.

Sasuke charged at the group of five kids that were hitting Sakura, he managed to knock down three of them. Sakura opened he eyes when the kicks stopped She saw a familiar back a blue tshirt with the Uchiha fan symbol standing in front of her."Sasuke!" Sakura got her feet. He dealt with the other two dodging the punches that were thrown at them protecting Sakura. "Well, if it isn't the Uchiha" One said taunting him.

"Leave her alone" Sasuke told him ready for any attack that came is way.

"Sure you can take her place" He grabbed Sasuke by the front of his shirt, but that was a mistake because Sasuke elbowed him in the face getting him in the nose and it began gushing red he took off and the rest followed after him. When he turned around Sakura's dress was full of dirt her hair was a tangled mess, and she had a scraped knee and her hands were full of dirt.

"Thank you Sasuke"

"Hn" Sasuke and Sakura walked to his house so she could get cleaned up.

When the got to the door Sasukes mother was waiting for them

"Oh dear Sasuke what happened" She said looking at the two Sasuke had a bruise forming on his chin, and sakura looked like she had been in rolling around in dirt. "We you in a fight again?" She asked him

Sasuke just walked past her "Go put some ice on that bruise honey" She then turned her attention to Sakura

"You must be Sakura" Sakura nodded. "Let's get you cleaned up"

"Thank you Mrs. Uchiha" Sakura replied

"Please call me Mikoto"

She took Sakura upstairs to the washroom and ran her a bath. "go ahead and change out of the filthy dress take a bath and then we will have some supper." Mikoto said before leaving the room. Sakura took off her dress placing it on the counter and entered the warm water pulling the curtain around the tub. Two minutes later Mikoto entered the room again and said "Sakura, I am going to leaving you a dress from when I was your age to wear, I will wash and dry your dress for you" After about ten minutes Sakura had rinsed herself of all the dirt that was on her body and was now drying herself off.

She picked up piece of clothing that was on the counter, it was a navy blue spaghetti strap dress. She pulled it over her head slipping her hands through the straps. It was a perfect fit. She hung the towel back on the rack. There was then a knock on the door. Sakura opened the door and Mikoto stepped in with a hair comb and a red ribbon. She turned Sakura towards the mirror and began running the comb through the girls hair, getting rid of all the knots. Once all the knots were out she pulled Sakura's bangs back and tied her hair with the ribbon.

"There you go, now your beautiful" Mikoto said smiling at the girl in the mirror. They then left the room and head downstairs to the dining room. When they entered the room the boys were seated at the table and fukagu was putting the supper Mikoto had cooked onto the plates for the family and Sakura. When Sakura entered the room Sasuke could help but stare at her. It was the first time that he had seen Sakura with her bangs out of her face. Her bright green eyes were now more visible, she was cute. Itachi kicked his brother under table seeing him stare at the girl.

"Ow."Sasuke blushed and turned to Itachi. Itachi smirked at him. "Sakura why don't you have a seat next to Sasuke."

Sakura met the rest of Sasukes family, His father was just like Sasuke was mysterious an strong but Sasuke had a little bit of his mother in him. Sasuke was very close with his mother but not so much with his father. His brother Itachi seemed to enjoy teasing Sasuke whenever he could. She already loved his mother she was incredibly sweet and beautiful.

"Sasuke it's getting late why don't you walk Sakura home."Sasukes mother told him after they had finished their desert and were just talking around the table embarrassing Sasuke mostly.

"Aa." Sasuke replied getting to his feet.

"Before you go, here is your dress Sakura" Mikoto said handing the girl her white dress.

"Thank you supper Mrs. Uchiha" Sakura said before getting to her feet.

"Please call me Mikoto"

The two then went out the door and toward the direction of Sakura's house.

"You have a really nice family Sasuke" Sakua told him as they were walking.

"hn. I'd say their annoying" he replied

"Well thanks for walking me home Sasuke" Sakua said before walking into the house.

Sasuke returned home. When he walked inside he announced "I'm back"

"Sasuke come into the living room please" He heard his mother call.

He walked into the room and saw his whole family in the room.

"Is something going on?" Sasuke asked

"Sasuke we need to speak with you" his father said. Sasuke took a seat on the couch next to Itachi.

"Starting next week you and your brother will be attending private school in sound country" his father informed him.

"What! Why? What's wrong with my school" Sasuke asked

"I want to pass on the Uchiha Corporation to you and Itachi when you graduate. This is a much better school and will keep you focused" His father told him.

"B-But-"

"This is not up for discussion we are leaving Friday morning. So help your mother pack your things" He told him and left the room followed by Itachi.

Later that night Sasuke was in his room slowly packing his things into a box when there was a knock on his door.

"How is it going Sasuke?" His mother asked him

"I don't want to go. I don't want to leave Sakura." He confessed pushing the box away from him.

His mother walked into the room sitting down next to him beside the bed and pulling the box he push away toward them.

"I know you don't want to go honey, but this will be good for your future. We will be coming back when you graduate. Sakura will still be here." She said trying to cheer him up.

"I guess"

"How about you buy her something, to remember you buy and as a promise that you will come back. I'll take you shopping early tomorrow."

"Ok" Sasuke Repled

Sakura was not prepared for the news Sasuke had to tell her when they stood outside her house late one night.

"Sasuke is something wrong?" She asked him

"Sakura, my parents are sending me to private school." He told her with his back facing her.

"B-but why? Why can't you stay here with me?" She asked him her heart feeling like it was breaking into little pieces.

"I have to go away don't make this hard on me, my father is sending me to a private school for my future to run the company" He replied.

"You're my only friend Sasuke who am I going to hang out with" She told him

"You think I want to go? That I want to leave you?" his hands turning into a fist. Sakura was crying her heart out tears running down her cheeks.

"Settle down will you" he whispered now standing only a forehead from her and taking her arms in his hands.

"I will leave but in exchange wait for me? I want you to be my girlfriend when I'm older, I will come back one day and I want you to be with me. Will you be with me?" he asked her with a pink tint across his male cheeks.

"You better keep your promise or I won't forgive you" She told him

"Okay so stop crying now" he told her.

Before she knew it the day had come for Sasuke and his family to leave. Sakura's alarm however did not go off that morning leaving a sleeping Sakura in her bed. When she finally woke up she prayed that Sasuke would still be there.

Sasuke waited outside his house for almost two hours clutching the piece of jewelry he wanted to give Sakura until finally his father approached him "we can't wait any longer boy" Sasuke father told him.

"Just five more minutes I know that she will come say good bye"

"No now get in the car" his father ordered him. Sasuke was about to get in the car when he heard a female voice calling his name

"Sasuke! wait Sasuke!" She ran as fast as she could and into his arms giving him a huge hug not wanting to ever let go.

"What took you so long?" Sasuke asked her

"I forgot to set my alarm" She confessed

"hn. Still forgetful as always, I don't know what your going to do without me" He told her

"I don't know either, I wish you didn't have to go" She whispered. He pulled away slightly.

"I know just remember our promise. Here this is for you something to remember me by." Sasuke handed her a rectangular box. Sakura opened it to find a small charm bracelet with a Sakura petal shaped charm with her name engraved on it and another charm next to it Sasuke's family symbol.

"Sasuke it's beautiful, I'll wear it every day, thank-you" She said hugging him tears threatening to fall.

"Sasuke I'm sorry but we have to go" his mother said. Sasuke gave her another hug and whispered into her ear. "Take care of yourself for me"

Sasuke then reluctantly let Sakura go there hands hanging onto each other as long as they could until the distance was too much and Sakuras hand fell to her side. Sasuke got into the car not daring to look back at Sakura's sad face.

It took Sakura a while to get over the fact that Sasuke was gone, She cried for weeks wishing that somehow it was all a bad dream, but it wasn't. Till finally Sakura started doing things that kept herself busy so that she would not think about Sasuke anymore, She enrolled in singing and art classes which she was rather good at.

She eventually made a few new friends but she still missed Sasuke dearly. Sakura was now 18 years old and was working at a café where her boss was a gross pervert. She hated every shift she had to do but she didn`t have a choice she had her rent and food to pay for.

Sakura was on her way to work when she got a phone call from a friend.

"Hello" Sakura said into her phone

"Hey Sakura, what's up?" a young man's voice said

"Hey Naruto, I'm on my way to work" She told him

"too bad, I'm have a little get together at my place tonight"

"I wish, I could come, would be better than getting hit on by my boss all night" She confessed

"Man Sakura you really need to find a new job" Naruto said

"Yeah I think tomorrow I am going to apply around town" Sakura replied

"Good" Naruto said

"Well I'll talk to you later Naruto, bye" Sakura told him

"Bye Sakura" Naruto replied

The whole night was rather busy for Sakura at the café. Sakura had only a few minutes left of her shift when a handsome man with dark hair and onyx eyes walked into the café, he wore a suite but his tie was relaxed hanging low on his neck, clearly he had just finished work. He took a seat by a window. He reminded Sakura of Sasuke, thinking of him she felt a blush creep up on her cheeks, she wondered what he would look like now, would he look anything like this stranger? she pushed the blush away. Sakura took out her order pad an approached him about to take his order when one of the girls yelled "Sakura, your shifts over get out of here"

The mysterious man lifted his head, were his ears playing tricks on him, did he just hear the name 'Sakura?' could it possibly be his Sakura. He had been looking for her everywhere, the park, her old house, but he couldn't find her, and he had been back for two months now. He looked around searching for pink, but saw no one that could have possibly been Sakura.

A young waitress approached him "hello I will be your-

"was there a girl named Sakura here?"

"Yes but her shift is over, I'm going t-"

"Did she have pink hair?" he cut her off

"Y-yeah" she replied

he slammed money onto the table and ran out of the café in hopes to catch her. But looking up and down the streets, they were empty.

The next day Sakura got up early and printed up a bunch of resume's so she could drop some off at some companies around town. Walking up and down the streets, she eventually found herself in front of the Uchiha Corporation.

'Sasuke..I wish you would come home' she thought.

She walked into the company and dropped off a resume, not like Saskue was back anyway. On her way home she ran into her friend Ino. She had long Blond hair and the bluest eyes, Sakura thought that she was beautiful.

"Hey Sakura I'm on my way to have lunch with everyone you should come" Ino said.

"Sure"

The girls arrived at the restaurant and found there friends sitting at the outdoor tables. "Ino, Sakura over here!" Naruto shouted.

The girls took a seat.

"so Sakura any luck finding a new job yet?" Hinata asked her

"No not yet but I just dropped off a bunch of resumes with some companies so hopefully one will call me back soon." Sakura replied

"I'm getting a vanilla smoothie, what do you want Sakura?" Ino asked

"I think I'm going to get a chocolate milk shake" She replied

"So where is Tenten today?" Ino asked

"hanging with Hyuga I assume" Naruto replied before digging into his ramen.

"Leave them alone Naruto, your just jealous he has a girlfriend and you don't" Sakura said

"Troublesome" said a boy sitting down next to Ino. Ino gave him a kiss "where have you been?" She asked him.

"Just walking around" he replied

Later that afternoon Sakura got a call on her cell phone

"Hello"

"May I please speak with Miss Sakura Haruno"

"Speaking" Sakura replied

"I am calling from the Uchiha Corporation, we would like you to come in for an interview tomorrow at 9 am"

"That would be great" Sakura replied feeling butterflies in her stomach

"Ok just go to the fourth floor and tell the secretary your name when you arrive"

"alright thank-you" Sakura replied

"Your welcome good bye"

"bye"

'omg I never thought that they would call me' Sakura thought to herself

Sakura woke up the next morning to the sound of her alarm, groaning she slammed her hand on top of the alarm and dragged herself out of bed. She grabbed a towel and went to take a shower, washing her hair and body, letting the warm water relax her muscles.

She got out of the shower looking at herself in the mirror her bubble-gum hair and beautiful green eyes staring back at her. She went to her closet and pulled out a grey pencil skirt and pink button up blouse. She then but on a pair of black heals, grabbed her purse and headed out the door.

She never thought that she would be pressed for time but many people this morning were walking like they were the living dead, slowing Sakura down. She ran into the Uchiha building not watching where she was going an collided into something hard, thinking she was going to hit the hard ground but instead found herself in the arms of the man that she had seen at the café the other night.

He couldn't believe it. He was on his way to get himself a cup of coffee walking through the lobby. But instead found Sakura in his arms, his Sakura that he had been looking for over two months now, and he couldn't utter a single word. His eyes landed on her bracelet with a cherry blossom and the Uchiha symbol. She followed his gaze to her wrist. She looked at him straggly for a minute as if trying to analyze him. 'could he be..Sasuke' Remembering she was pressed for time she pushed him away suddenly uttering "Sorry, I'm in a hurry" and ran into the elevator. All he could do was watch her disappear into it.

She got to the fourth floor and went up to the secretary's desk "Hello, my name is Sakura Haruno, I am here for an interview" She told the woman.

"Yes just have a seat, Mrs. Uchiha will see you shortly" She replied, Sakura eyes widened. 'Mrs. Uchiha…were they back? Or was it just her' Sakura was panicking inside as she took a seat . A minute later Mikoto came out of her office.

"So it really is you, Sakura" She said, making Sakura turn her head in her direction. "Look at you, you really have grown into a beautiful woman" Sakura blushed.

"Thank-you, Mrs. Uchiha" Sakura replied.

"come let's talk in my office" She said noticing the sad look on Sakura. She ushered her into the office and Sakura took a seat in front of the desk as Mikoto closed the door.

"How long have you been back" Sakura asked once Mikoto sat down in her chair behind her desk.

"Almost three months" she replied.

"And Sasuke?" Sakura asked.

"Almost three months, why?" Mikoto asked her.

"Why hasn't he contacted me?" Sakura asked tears threatening to fall making her vision blurry. Sakura blink and a tear escaped.

"Oh dear" Mikoto got up and sat down in the chair next to Sakura placing her hand on the women's lap.

"Sakura, he's been trying, he tried calling but you don't have the same number, he's looked at the park, your house where you no longer live." She confessed "He is walking around the house depressed because he can't seem to find you anywhere, but he's not giving up he is determined" Sakura's eyes widened.

"Really, he's been looking for me?" Mikoto nodded giving her a smile. Sakura wiped away her tears.

"Why don't you come by the house tonight, have supper" She suggested.

"I wish I could I would really want to see Sasuke, but tonight is my friend's birthday." Sakura told her

"I understand another time then." She said

"Now, about this job you applied for, there is no doubt in my mind, I am going to hire you, however I better keep you away from Sasuke you would only distract him, I will put you on the eighth floor, you can work as Gara's Secretary, how does that sound?"

"Perfect" Sakura replied

"Alright here is the key you will start a half hour before Gara opening his office at eight thirty every morning and finish at four thirty." Mikoto informed her

"Thank-you Mikoto" Sakura replied

"I hope to see you soon Sakura, so we can catch up." Mikoto said opening the door.

"of course" Sakura said before leaving the office, and heading out to quite her old job.

Sakura was so happy that she got a new job that she was really looking forward to a great supper with all of her friends to celebrate Naruto's birthday and on her getting a new job. She also couldn't stop thinking about Sasuke and the boy she knew she wondered what he would be like when she saw him again.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY NARUTO!" everyone yelled when he arrived at the restaurant interrupting Sakura's thoughts. He was grinning from ear to ear.

"Wow guys this is great" he said seeing all the ramen he could eat in front of him. After they all finished eating the all gave Naruto his gifts which were all gift cards for his favorite ramen shop in town.

"You guys are awesome"

"Naruto if you don't mind I have a little announcement myself" Sakura said

"Sure Sakura" Naruto replied

"Well I got a new job, I am now going to be a secretary working at the Uchiha corporation"

"That's great news Sakura" Tenten told her

"Yeah congrats Sakura" Ino told her

They then left the restaurant and headed over to Naruto's apartment to hang out for a bit. When they got their they had a few drinks and watched a movie before finally heading home.

The next morning Sakura got to work early and unlocked the office and set up her desk and making the coffee. She was wearing a aline skirt that was white with black flowers on it for a top she wore a ruffled tank top. She had just finished turning on the computer when Gara walked in. He had red hair and he was dressed in a black suite with a white shirt underneath and a black tie.

"Who the hell are you?" He said glaring at her.

"um I'm Sakura haruno, I was hired by Mrs. Uchiha I'm your secretary" Sakura told him standing up and extending her hand towards him. He just stared at it like she was crazy. After a moment he finally spoke.

"Is that so?" He looked her up and down staring at her figure her long milky legs and amazing chest. He walked into his office and came out with a few documents.

"You can start by sending out these emails" He told her dropping them on her desk and returning to his office. The documents had a list of about 500 emails written on it.

Sakura got to work right away so that he would not get mad at her. She did not like the first impression of him. He seemed to be the kind of man that would hit you if you did something wrong.

Sasuke had just gotten himself a cup of coffee before looking at the paper work that was on his desk. He took the folder that read new employees.

He opened it and nearly spit out his coffee in his mouth. He was shocked about the name that was written at the top "Haruno, Sakura" he skimmed down the page

Occupation: Secretary

Supervisor: Gara

Floor: Eighth

He was not concerned that she was working at his company, what worried him was the fact that she was working for Gara. He grabbed the folder and went straight to his mother's office.

"Good morning Sasuke" The red head who was his mother's secretary said seductively but made Sasuke want to puke. He ignored her and knocked on his mother's door.

"Come in" her voice came from behind the door. Sasuke opened the door closing it behind him.

"When were you planning on telling me about this" He said handing her the file. She took the file from him and opened it "Oh."

"Oh? That's all you have to say" Sasuke said

"Sasuke I didn't want you to know right away, I know how much she means to you and she would only distract you. So I thought I would just let you find out on your own." She confessed.

"You know I've been looking everywhere for her, and you didn't think to mention that she is working at our company" Sasuke replied

"Like I said Sasuke, I didn't want you distracted"

"I want her moved, I don't want her in his department" Sasuke said

"I can't do that Sasuke, he needs a secretary."

"Mother he has had three sexual harassment claims filed against him, I don't even know why he is still working here"

"Because we went to rehab and passed the sexual harassment course, people deserve second chances" Mikoto told.

"please mother move her"

"I'm sorry Sasuke" she handed him back the file. He took it exiting the room slamming the door on his way out making the secretary jump.

"Sorry" he said and heading back to his office.

Sakura's morning went by rather fast and sending out all of the emails. The email was to inform all of the employees of the company and friends of the Uchiha's that they were having a party to announce the return of the Uchiha family and that the company will now be run by the sons of Faguko Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha and Sasuke Uchiha. The party was to take place tomorrow night at seven o'clock.

Sakura glanced at her clock on the computer that read 12:13 when there was a knock on her office door.

"Naruto, what are you doing here?" She asked him

"I work here remember. Now come on I'm taking you out for lunch" he told her leaning against the door frame arms crossed over his chest.

The minute they left the building Naruto said "I can't believe you got stuck working for gara"

"Why is there something wrong with him?" Sakura asked

"Yeah he likes to hit on anything that walks and has boobs, he is also a real jerk."

"Great, I left my old job to get away from that and I'm stuck with another boss like my last one." Sakura replied her head hanging low

"Hey don't worry about it. Just work hard and I'm sure in a few weeks you can ask to be transferred, there are other departments that need secretary's maybe you could even be my secretary, mine just gave her two weeks that she was quitting, I will put in a god word with HR for you" He told her.

"Thank you Naruto" Sakura told him

Sakura's room looked like a bomb had hit it, her bed was filled with clothes and the closet was almost empty she had shoes all over the floor, and makeup all over her burrow. Sakura picked up her cell phone and dialed a number she knew all too well.

"Hello?" a female voice answered

"Ino, I need help, I don't know what to wear!" Sakura yelled into the phone.

"Haha, don't worry I'm on my way" Ino replied

While waiting for Ino to arrive Sakura flipped through her old photo album looking at old photos of her and Sasuke. However It only made her even more nervous about seeing him again.

Ten minutes later Ino arrived.

"So let me get this straight, this guy made a promise to you when you were kids that when he came back he wanted to make you his girlfriend, and now he is back and you guys have not seen each other yet but he is going to be their tonight" Ino asked Sakura as she went through Sakura's clothes

"Yeah, tonight they are celebrating the fact that him and his brother Itachi will be taking over the company for his father, I'm really nervous Ino what if I'm not what he expects?"

"Are you kidding? The guy would be crazy, your gorgeous, as long as he likes your big forehead" Ino teased which earned her a pillow in the back of the head. "ow"

"I'm serious Ino" Sakura said

"Alright let's see what you have, that will knock this guy off his feet" Ino replied pulling out a few items out for Sakura to try on.

It didn't take long for Ino to narrow down what Sakura should wear to a red halter dress and a pair of black heals. She only had on a little bit of makeup, she did not need much just a bit of mascara.

That night when Sakura arrived at the hall it was already full of people she noted. Sakura made her way to check in her coat and stood near the back of the room.

"Champagne miss?" A servant offered her. Sakura gladly took a glass. 'I wonder where Naruto is, then I wouldn't have to stand by myself'

At the head of the room stood the Uchiha's. Sasuke and Itachi stood behind Mikoto and their father who had a serious look on his face. "If I may have your attention, tonight we celebrate the return of my sons but also that they will from this day forth be running the Uchiha company." Mr. Uchiha announced. Everyone began clapping their hands.

Sasuke scanned the room, and his eyes fell on Sakura her pink hair giving her away. Her beauty was breathtaking. She was sipping on a glass of champagne looking around the room at nothing in-particular. Sasuke couldn't take his eyes off her it took all his restraint to not run across the room to her that instant. His brother brought him back to the matter at hand when Itachi placed his hand on his shoulder. "brother we need your signature" Itachi told him.

"Aa" Sasuke replied.

Itachi made his way through the crowd seeing pink disappear and head for the stairs that would lead her out the door.

Just seeing Sasuke was overwhelming to Sakura. "I can't do this" Sakura thought turning and making her way toward the stairs only to find her way blocked none other than Itachi Uchiha.

"Not leaving already are you Sakura?"

"I-itachi" Sakura stuttered

"My brother wants to see you" He told her

"but..what if I am not what he expects" She confessed.

"it won't matter, now wait here" Itachi replied before disappearing

'what does that mean' Sakura couldn't help but think.

"Mrs. Haruno, I'm not sure I approve of your choice in clothing this evening, and alone I see." Gara uttered circling around her like she was a piece of meat. He had a glass of what looked like hard liqueur. He was dressed in a grey suite and a white dress shirt with a black tie hanging louse around his neck. Sakura wished he would stop staring at her, it made her very uncomfortable and as if she were standing naked in front of him. He was not trying to hid the fact he was checking her out either he had his head tilted trying to get a good look at her ass.

"She is not alone" a male voice uttered from behind Sakura. She turned around to see Sasuke standing behind her. He was at least a head taller than she was. The Sasuke that she knew had turned into a very handsome man. Gara glared at him.

"Well if it isn't the youngest Uchiha" Gara spoke

"I would watch your mouth. Now why don't you go gawk at someone else." Sasuke told him. The tension between them was intense, Sakura noted. Gara stormed off.

When Sasuke turned to Sakura his eyes fell on the bracelet on her wrist. He approached her taking her wrist in his hand. Her skin was cold, plus he was giving her goose bumps, his touch was warm and his hands were rough. The boy she remembered was now a man, and she couldn't believe he was standing in front of her.

"S-sakura" His smooth voice broke her out of her thoughts.

"I know, I'm not what you expected" She said looking down at the ground unable to make eye contact with him.

"No I-" Hearing the words come out of his mouth was worse than she had imagined her heart felt like it broke into a million pieces. Sakura felt like she was about to burst into tears. Her eyes were building up with tears.

"I understand, you no longer have to keep your promise. How could I think that I would be worthy of your love?" She told him not letting him finish what he was saying and she turned and ran out of the building not looking where she was going brushing passed Itachi who had been talking with a co-worker outside. He returned inside to find his brother with a very confused look on his face.

"What happened?" Itachi asked. Sasuke ran his right hand though his hair and let out a frustrated sigh.

"Damnit" Sasuke tried to walk away from his brother but Itachi stood in front of him placing his hand on his brothers shoulder stopping him

"Oh no you don't you're not going anywhere till you tell me what happened." Itachi told him

"She thinks she doesn't deserve me" Sasuke said

"And did you tell her that she was being ridiculous?" Itachi Asked

"She didn't give me the chance"

"Then what are you going standing here go find her" Itachi told him.

"How will I know where to find her?" Sasuke thought as he walked out of the building. It had started to rain and was slowly getting worse 'great, guess I'll start with the park'

Sakura sat on a swing in the park it was pouring rain but she did not care how wet she was getting at that moment all she want to do was cry her heart out. Her hair clung to her face and her eyes were puffy. "I'm such an idiot why did I have to run away like that" She said out load to herself or so she thought.

"Because your annoying" Sasukes voice came from behind her. He surprised her so much she jumped off the swing and turned toward him. Sasuke moved around the swing so there was nothing between him and Sakura. His clothes were soaked from walking in the pouring rain trying to find her.

"Sasuke"

"You never let me finish" He told her

"I didn't really want to hear the rest" She replied

"I think you do, Sakura, no you are not what I expected, you're more beautiful than I could have imagined, Sakura you're the only thing that got me through that boring school" He confessed.

"I'm nothing special though, there are loads of prettier girls out there then me" She replied

"what happened to you confidence Sakura?" he asked her not understanding how she could think like this.

"It disappeared when you left Sasuke, then teasing got worse when you were gone" she told him. Sasuke let out a load sigh.

"Well I'm going to change that. We're going on a date tomorrow night" He told her

"We are?"

"Aa, did you forget your promise you made to me?" Sasuke asked

"No of course not" Sakura replied

"let's get you home and out of this rain"

Sasuke walked Sakura home and all the way to her apartment door. "Well this is me, thank you for walking me home Sasuke" She told him and placed a Kiss on his cheek before walking into her apartment.

That night Sakura showered, brushed her teeth, and changed into her nightgown before she climbed into bed. Her mind was racing making it difficult for her to fall asleep. 'I don't want Sasuke to go through with this promise because he thinks he has to, I want him to be my boyfriend because he wants to be, how do I know he wants to be my boyfriend and not just keeping some promise?'

The next day around seven Sasuke met Sakura at her house. Sakura greeted him in a white sundress with small pink flowers on it. For shoes Sakura had on a pair of pink sandals. Sasuke was dressed in a dark blue dressed shirt that was rolled up at the sleeves and a pair of black pants and black dress shoes.

Sasuke walked her to his car and opened the door for her. Once she was seated he closed the door and got into the driver seat. HE had just started the car when Sakura asked "so where are we going?"

"you'll see" Sasuke replied. About ten minutes later Sasuke parked the car in front of a fancy Italian restaurant.

They walked into the restaurant and Sasuke asked for a table for two. The waiter guided them to a small table by the window and gave them both a menu once they were seated and poured them each a glass of water.

"Look Sasuke, I know that we made a promise to each other that I would be your girlfriend when you got back, but I think that we need to be friends before we can be together like that"

"I agree"

"you do?"

"Yes, we need time getting to know each other as adult we only know each other as children"

Sakura took off the bracelet and handed it back to Sasuke.

"What are you doing? Sakura my promise still sands I will make you my girlfriend eventually just not right away"

"how can you be so sure what if you don't like the adult me"

"I know your heart Sakura that will not change" Sasuke said and took the bracelet for her hand and clasping it back onto her wrist. Sakura smiled staring at it. A few minutes later the waiter approached

"Are you ready to order?"

Sasuke and Sakura ordered their meals and had a nice supper as friends. Unaware of the man sitting nearby who had listened to them the whole time and watching them. Sasuke dove Sakura home and walked her to her apartment door.

"Thank you for supper Sasuke I had a great time seeing you again I really missed you"

"no problem"

"Sasuke can I have your phone number? This way we can make plans to see each other again?"

"Aa. give me your phone" Sasuke told her

She handed him her pink phone and he enter his name into her contacts with his cell phone number. Then with her phone he sent a text message to himself. He pulled out his phone there on his screen was the message he had sent and handed her back he pink phone.

"Thank you Sasuke" Sakura said taking her phone from him.

"I have your number now as well." He said showing her the text message he had sent on his phone. He pocketed his phone. Sakura said goodbye and then walked into her apartment and Sasuke went to his car. Once the door to her apartment was closed she leaned on it closing her eyes and smiling.

"Did it go well?" He roommate said. Sakura opened her eyes and looked at the purple haired girl who stood in front of her. The girls white eyes looked at Sakura waiting for an answer.

"Yes it did Hinata"

"So are you guys dating now?"

"No not yet we decided to be friends for now so we can get to know each other as adults"

"Oh"

"I'm going to go take a shower" Sakura told her before walking down the hall of their apartment and disappearing into the washroom.

The next day Sakura got dressed in a black pencil skirt and yellow Blouse that showed a bit of cleavage and went to work. She was making the coffee for Gara when he walked in he took in her outfit. "decided to show he girls today" he said as he walked past her into his office. Sakura ignored him and finished off his coffee. She went to his office with his coffee in his hand. She walked into his office not noticing Gara behind the door hanging up his jacket. Gara took his chance and grabbed Sakura's behind.

"ah" Sakura dropped the coffee she was holding from shock.

"Gara please remove your hand" Sakura said. He just squeezed her ass tighter "I'd rather not your ass is just so perfectly firm and round" He inhaled her sent "you smell like strawberries very inviting"

"Gara I will not ask you again please"

He let he go "I'll be needing my coffee Miss. Haruno"

Sakura ran out of the room and prepared him a coffee. She took it to his office and place it on his desk cautiously afraid he might do something.

"take the spilled coffee mug on your way out" Sakura bent over and pick up the mug completely aware that he just wanted a view of her ass but she did it anyway knowing that she was going to report him and returned to her desk. The rest of the morning Sakura typed up some reports and before she knew it, it was time for lunch.

Before she could pick up her purse and leave though her phone went off. "Hey Sakura are you ready for lunch? I want ramen!" Nauto yelled into her phone.

"Ah sure Naruto" Sakura said. When she hung up the phone Sasuke was standing in her doorway. "Sasuke what are you doing here?"

"You hungry?"

"Yes I'm just waiting for my friend to get here before we go for lunch, but you can come with us."

"Hn."

Sakura picked up her purse and Naruto ran into the office "Sakura come on le-"Naruto said until he noticed Sasuke.

"your friends with the dobe?"Sasuke asked Sakura

"Yes why do you guys know each other" Sakura asked

"yeah I know the teme our mothers are friends, so we got to know each other when we were little Sasuke is my friend he just refuses to admit it" Naruto informed Sakura

"Then why weren't you at Naruto's birthday party" Sakura asked

"I had to work" Sasuke replied

"Come on Sakura lets go I'm hungry" Naruto said pulling Sakura's hand

"Are you coming Sasuke "Aa."

Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura went to Naruto's favourite Ramen restaurant the three took their seats and waited for the waiter to take their order. They didn't have to wait long when an older man approached them.

"Ah Naruto you brought friends today" He said

"Yup can I have my usual" Naruto requested

"Coming right up" he responded scribbling down on his note bad.

"And what will you be having young lady?" He asked Sakura.

"The vegetable ramen please" Sakura responded before handing him back the menu.

"And you sir?" He asked Sasuke.

"beef" Sasuke responded handing him his menu as well.

"How you holding up working for Gara Sakura? It's been what a week now" Naruto said after the waiter disappeared.

"Not good Naruto today he grabbed my ass I had to-" Sakura began but was interrupted by Naruto's outburst.

"He what?" Naruto said surprised his eyes bulging.

Sasuke was gritting his teeth and his hands were turned into fists under the table 'I'll kill him he touched Sakura, I'll kill him" Sasuke thought to himself.

"yeah I had to ask him three times to remove his hand, I need to report him but I don't know how" Sakura said as if it was nothing. Sasuke clenched hands had turned white under the table.

"You got to talk to teme's mother" Naruto informed her.

"Oh do you know where her office is I don't remember how to get there?" Sakura asked Naruto.

"I'll take you after lunch" Sasuke said before Naruto could reply.

"Please tell me you at least slapped him" Naruto said as there ramen arrived and was placed in front of them.

"No I didn't want to make things worse, and have him say I physically abused him" Sakura responded.

After lunch Sasuke took Sakura straight to his mother's office walking a little fast for Sakura. They got to his mother's floor and the red head at the front greeted him like always in her slutty manner. "Good afternoon Sasuke" She said but turned her attention to the fact that Sasuke was holding the pinked haired women's hand "who is this bitch and why is Sasuke holding her hand" She thought.

Sasuke knocked on his mother's door. When he heard "come in" he opened the door pulling a blushing Sakura along with him.

"he did it mother I told you he would" Sasuke said.

"who did what Sasuke?" She asked him looking up from the paper work.

"he harassed her, Gara" Sasuke replied.

"what Sakura is this true" Mikoto asked her. Sakura nodded.

"Return to your office Sasuke, I'll take care of Sakura I promise, but I need to hear her side of the story." She told her youngest son. Sasuke walked out of the office leaving Sakura alone with Sasukes mother. "Ok Sakura I need to tell me what happened what he said, what he did, what you said and what you did." Mikoto said looking at Sakura. Sakura proceeded to tell Mikoto the story of what happened and Mikoto took an occasional note. "Is this the first time he has done this?" Mikoto asked when Sakura was finished.

"yes" Sakura replied

"I'm sorry Sakura, this is not the first time he has done this to one of his secretaries, I am going to move you to Uzamakies department he came to me last week asking if I could transfer you there. I had been thinking about it and after this event there is no longer any doubt I am moving you to his department he is a gentleman and a professional he will not act like Gara has." Mikoto informed her.

"Thank you Mikoto, Naruto is a friend of mine, but I promise it will not affect my work performance." Sakura replied feeling relived.

"Good why don't you go report to him now he is on the tenth floor, get settled in there." Mikoto told her. Sakura got out of her chair thanking Mikoto one more time before walking out of the office closing the door behind her unaware of the redhead eyeing the girl. Mikoto came out of her office a moment later handing her Secretary a folder "Karin, I need to type these notes into Ms. Sakura Haruno's file" Mikoto told the women. She took the notes from Mikoto and opened up Sakura's file on the database on the computer. Sakura Photo popped up with all her personal information. Mikoto returned to her office unaware of the evil look on Karins face. Karin took out her phone and entered in Sakura phone number and home address.

When Sakura got to the tenth floor she knocked on Naruto's office and entered when she heard Nauto say "Yeah" on the other side.

Sakura opened the door "Hello Nauto, I'm now your secretary" She informed him with a smile. A huge grin appeared on Naruto's face. He got out of his chair and walked towards Sakura.

"Then follow me and I will show you where your desk is" Naruto said and walked passed Sakura out of his office and to a desk a few feet away from his office in the front.

"Here we are, this will be where you sit Sakura" Sakura sat down in her chair and turned on the computer.

"So you will need you to take care of all my schedule every day, I've been a little lost without a secretary." Naruto said rather embarrassed.

"I believe that" Sakura said turning on the computer and typing in the password.

Sakura spent the rest of the day organizing the desk, going through files, reports and familiarizing herself with Naruto's department and organizing Naruto's schedule for the next month by going through emails and checking the phone messages. Naruto dealt with all of the complaints related to the Uchiha company technology. Sakura thought that was perfect for Naruto as he was usually happy so he was equipped to deal with the complaints. Sakura assumed that no one had been checking the messages or emails since the last secretary left because some messages were from a month ago. By the time Sakura was done it was already five and Naruto was locking up his office. He stopped at Sakura's desk and gave her a key to the office. "Do you want a ride home?" he asked

"Sure that would be nice, thank you Naruto" Sakura replied picking up her purse and following him out the door.

Later the evening Sakura had just finished eating her meal when Hinata reminded Sakura "shouldn't you be getting ready your show, it's in a few hours isn't it.?"

"Oh my god that you for reminding me Hinata" Sakura ran down the hall to get ready. She took a shower, blow dried her hair, curled it, applied some mascara and some lip gloss then pulled on her white halter dress and a pair of black heels before she came out of the room. She found Hinata in the hall who was dressed in a skirt and pink blouse.

"Wow Hinata you look great" Sakura complimented the shy girl

"Really it's not too much, I'm so nervous" She replied

"Don't worry it's normal to be nervous, you're going on a date with a guy you like." Sakura told her giving her a hug. "I can't believe Naruto asked you out, sometimes he is just so clueless" Sakura continued after pulling away.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Sakura went to answer it. "s-sasuke, what are you doing here?" Sakura stuttered. When Sakura opened the door Sasuke had to keep his jaw from dropping. She was even more beautiful, the dressed showed off her long creamy legs and clung tightly to all her curves and showing more cleavage than normal. Sasuke had to fight down a blush. But also Seeing the way Sakura was dressed Sasuke couldn't help but think that she was going on a date with some guy and it angered him. He was tempted to turn around and leave but decided better not to jump to conclusions.

"I Came to ask you want happened with my mother today?" He said walking into the apartment. Sakura closed the door behind him

"Oh I'm working as Naruto's secretary now" She said and there was another knock on the door.

Sakura opened the door "Hi Sakura" Naruto said and She let him in.

"Hey Sasuke are you going to see Sakura's show as well" Naruto asked him. Sakura's eyes widened.

"What show?" Sasuke asked

"at the bar she is signing tonight" Naruto informed him. Sakura wanted nothing more than to ring Naruto's neck at that moment.

Sasuke turned his attention back to Sakura feeling relieved that she wasn't going on a date. "you didn't tell me" Sasuke said.

Sakura avoided looking him in the eyes and said "my whole class is putting on a show tonight at a bar and everyone voted that I sing a solo. I'm already really nervous and if your there It's going to make me even more nervous" Sakura confessed

"Hn." 'why would I make her nervous' he thought 'because she likes you, you idiot'

"I'm sorry Sasuke I'm being stupid" She said finally looking up at him.

"still annoying as ever Sakura…where is it?" He asked

"At Sharingan" Naruto informed him.

"I'll meet you there, I need to change" Sasuke said heading for the door

"Yeah the teme is going" Naruto exclaimed.

"Ready to go ladies?" Naruto asked the girls. Before wrapping his arm around Hinata and whispering into Hinata's ear "you look pretty" making the girl blush. They made their way outside to Naruto's car piling in and heading over to the bar. When Sasuke got to the bar Sakura was just getting up onto the stage, he made his way to the table Naruto and Hinata were at and sat down beside them.

"Look she's about to start" Sakura's friend Ino said jumping up and down in her seat. The light focused on Sakura and she sat down on the stool she looked up at the crowd. She was extremely nervous she had butterflies in he stomach. Her eyes found Sasuke surprised to see him out of his work clothes and in a black fitted t-shirt and a dark pair of jeans with a black leather jacket on top, Sakura couldn't help but stare 'god Sakura get a hold of yourself were just friends' Sakura took a deep breath and the music began. Sakura didn't know where to put her attention but she wound up looking at Sasuke as she began to sing.

Sasuke couldn't believe how beautiful her voice was. How could she be nervous when she could sing like this. She truly was amazing. But he couldn't help but think that the song was meant for him somehow. When the song was over she made her way over to her friends.

"Sakura that was amazing" Naruto said

"You didn't look nervous at all" Ino said

"you have a beautiful voice Sakura" Hinata said

Sakura then turned her head to Sasuke "what did you think Sasuke?"

"I had no idea you could sing like that" he replied.

"well I've been taking classes" She informed him with a pink tint across her cheeks.

"you were great" Sasuke replied.

A smile crept up to her lips before she went to get herself a drink. She returned to the able and had a few drinks with her friends. At the end of the night Sasuke had gotten Naruto to give him his keys saying that he had had one too many and didn't trust him driving the girls home. So the four of them had left Narutos car behind at the bar and Sasuke was driving them all home in his car. Sasuke dropped of the girls first and then Naruto before going home himself. When Sasuke got home and flopped down on his bed thinking about Sakura and her beautiful voice.

"where were you tonight" His brother asked him leaning in the doorway

"Out"

"with Sakura?"

"Yeah"

"you two spend a lot of time together considering your just friends"

"hn" Itachi left realizing he wasn't going to get any other information from his brother.

Sasuke got up and pulled off his clothes until he was in his boxes and lay back own on his bed. His thoughts drifting to Sakura. It had been a month now since the company party and Sasuke knew he was starting to fall for her.

Meanwhile with Sakura and Hinata

They had changed out of their clothes and were sitting in their kitchen having a cup of tea.

"So did anything interesting happen with Naruto tonight?" Sakura asked Hinata. Hinata went bright red and took sip of her tea.

"Something did didn't it tell me" Sakura said

"He.. Naruto asked me to be his girlfriend." Hinata said with her stuttering

"what did you say?" Sakura asked excited.

"Yes" Hinata replied blushing

"that's fantastic Hinata, you've been crushing on him for ages and he is finally your boyfriend, I'm so happy for you." Sakura said finishing her tea.

"What about you and Sasuke" Hinata asked catching Sakura off guard.

"Were friends Hinata I told you I know we promised each other we would date when we come back but we have to see if we have feelings for each other first." Sakura reminded her.

"Yeah but that was a month ago have your feelings grown for him maybe, that song had to be meant for him." Sakura blushed hard turning bright red.

"I keep telling myself were just friends but I'm falling for him Hinata" Sakura confessed

Hinata smiled at her friend "Don't worry, I have a feeling that Sasuke is going to fall for you" Hinata said.

The next day in Kohonoha

Sakura was out with her friends Sasuke, Hinata, and Naruto doing some shopping when a dark haired man approached them.

"Sakura?"

"Sai? When did you get back into town" Sakura said hugging the dark haired man in front of her unaware of the glare that he was receiving from Sasuke. 'who is this guy and why Sakura hugging him'

"Just got back yesterday" the man replied.

"Nice to see you again Sai" Naruto said after the two pulled away from each other.

Sai turned and looked at Sasuke "I don't believe we've meet.." he said

"Sasuke Uchiha" Sasuke said extending his hand. Sai's shook Sasukes hand and turned to look at Sakura who was smiling. He knew everything about Sasuke because Sakura had told him but finally seeing him up close he man was attractive and carried himself confidently he had to be careful and not let Sakura fall in love with him if he was to make Sakura his girlfriend, he would have competition with the Uchiha back in town.

"Sakura has told me about you" Sai said

"Hn" was the reply form Sasuke stuffing his hand back in his pocket.

"Are you doing some shopping as well Sai?" Sakura asked him

"I am" he lied

"Me and Hinata are shopping for some clothes, you could join us if you like"

"Why not" The group continued their way through the mall Sakura, Sai and Hinata at the front and Sasuke and Nauto behind. Sasuke did not like the way Sai was looking at Sakura. He knew that look it was one of lust and hunger.

"You alright dude?" Naruto asked him

"Hn." Sasuke continued to walk with his hands in his pockets keeping an eye on this Sai. If he tried anything.

"We really should catch up, I'd love to hear all about you trip Sai" Sakura said as they walked

"I would love to tell you, but I just remembered I have something I need to do, perhaps we could go out for coffee one day" He said

"Sounds good" Sakura replied

"It's a date" Sai turned to the boys and waved before heading in the opposite direction. After Sai was gone the girls disappeared into a store and the boys waited for them outside.

A few moments passed before Sasuke turned to Naruto and said "What do you know about this Sai guy?"

"Not much to be honest he's Sakura's friend more than any of ours. The guy is kind of a loner" Naruto replied

"How did Sakura meet him?" Sasuke asked.

"I think she met him in one of her art classes. She only did two classes before she realized in wasn't for her and tried singing instead. Yet this guy still hung around Sakura constantly, he borders on stalker if you ask me" Naruto replied

"I don't trust him" Sasuke said

"You and me both" Naruto replied

The girls came out of the store 20 minutes later and greeted the boys with bags in their hands.

"Sorry we took so long, we kind of got carried away" Sakura replied

"Hn." Sasuke took the numerous bags from Sakura's hand and Naruto followed Sasuke's example and took Hinata's.

"Wow these bags are heavy, how much did you guys buy" Naruto asked

"How about we stop and get something to eat, I'm hungry after all this shopping" Sakura said

"Sakura, why don't we just return home and we could cook the guys dinner" Hinata suggested

"That sounds fantastic" Naruto exclaimed

The four walked off to the cars Naruto had his arm draped around Hinata's shoulders as they walked with Sasuke and Sakura following behind them unaware of the eyes that we watching them.

When they got to Sakura and Hinata apartment Naruto made himself comfortable on the couch like always. Hinata went to the kitchen to start making them something to eat and Sakura offered to show Sasuke around the apartment. He followed her into her bedroom so she could drop off the bags in her room. Sasuke placed the bags on the floor at the end of her bed and took a looked around the room. Her room had cream colored walls a double closet a bed in the middle of the room and two bedside table and a small desk in the corner. The furniture was a dark brown color. Sasuke looked at Saskura and raised his eyebrows at her. "what?" She asked

"No pink?" he said. Sakura giggled.

"is that what you were expecting? My childhood bedroom?" Sakura asked

"Aa."

"I'm an adult now Sasuke" Sakura reminded him

"Sakura, I don't like him." Sasuke suddenly blurted out

"what don't like who Sasuke?" She asked

"Sai, the way he looks at you, he is looks at you like he wants to sleep with you Sakura." Sasuke informed Sakura.

"Sai? That's ridiculous Sasuke, were just friends that's it." Sakura told him. Sasuke couldn't believe how naive she was to the fact that Sai wanted her and it scared him he didn't want to lose her to Sai. Sasuke walked up to Sakura wanting nothing more than to kiss her. Sasuke pulled her waist to him until their bodies were touching looking into her eyes "s-sasuke?" Sakura whispered seeing the intense look he was giving her.

Sasuke was dipping his head down about to kiss her when suddenly Naruto ran into the room.

"a-ah sorry to interrupt but supper is ready" Naruto said and then took off down hell.

"Just be careful around him ok" Sasuke said letting go of Sakura and left the room. 'was he going to kiss me?' Sakura thought before walking out of the room and siting down across from Hinata at the table.

It was Friday after work and Sasuke had left the office and was driving on his way home. It was pouring rain, with thunder and lightening causing Sasuke to drive slower then normal. He passed by a figure on the road, but when he looked in his rearview mirror he noticed that it was Sakura. She had only her coat that was wraped around her slim form. Sasuke pulled over to the side of the road and reversed until her reached Sakura throwing open the passenger door.

"Sasuke?"

"Get in" He told her

"But-"

"Hurry up your letting the rain in" Sakura quickly climbed into the car her hair dripping wet and her teeth were chattering. Sasuke turned the heat on put the car back in drive and got back onto the road.

Sakura was so busy trying to warm herself up she hadn't noticed that Sasuke drove them to a unknown house. "Sasuke where are we?" She asked removing her seat belt.

"My house" He replied.

"But I thought you lived with your parents"

"That was only until this house was finished, now come on let's get you inside so you can change shower and warm up." Sasuke said stepping out of the car. Sakura walked in behind Sasuke and he closed the door behind her. "Sasuke this house is beautiful" Sakura commented. Sasuke ignored her pulling the coat off the pink haired girl and hanging it up to dry.

"Come on" He took her by the hand pulling her down one of the halls. Sakura stared down the their joined hands blushing. Sasuke stopped in front of a bathroom and offered her a towel. "Go take a shower and I'll find you something to wear, I'll place the clothes in front of the door for you. Come find me later down stairs in the living room" He told her before disappearing down the hall.

True to his word Sakura found clothes in front of the door. Holding the white towel against her body she picked up the clothes and closed the door behind her to change. Sasuke had given her one of his grey long sleeve shirts and a pair of his black sweat pants. Sakura had to roll up the sleeves of the shirt in order to get her hands out of the sleeves because the shirt was too big. When she got down stairs Sasuke had a fire going two cups of tea and a pizza box on the coffee table waiting. Sasuke appeared behind Sakura with two plates. Sakura turn around when she heard him. Like sakura, sasuke had changed his clothes. He was dressed in a dark pair of jeans and a hooded sweatshirt. "I ordered us some dinner, it's too dangerous for you to go home right now" Sasuke said to Sakura walking around her and siting on the couch. Sakura looked out the window and he was right the storm was getting worse. Sakura joined him on the couch and Sasuke offered her a plate with a piece of pizza.

"Thank you Sasuke"

"Aa."

Ater they finished eating Sasuke took the plates to the kitchen and put the leftovers in the fridge. Before settling on the couch with Sakura and watching tv. It was ten O'çlock at night and the storm was still going and Sakura had fallen asleep on Sasukes shoulder. He shifted her into his arms and carried her upstairs to one of the guest room he laid her down on the bed and pulled the covers over her body. He took almost all of Sasuke control not to lay down next to her. But he managed to walk out of the room and into his own bed room.

Chapter 4

Sakura work up the next morning from the sun filling up the room and the smell of something cooking down stairs. Sakura opened her eyes to realize she was not in her own bed, or her bed room for that matter. Looking around she saw the Uchiha fan on the wall and realized she must have fallen asleep at Sasuke's last night.

She pulled back the covers and exited the room before finding her way downstairs and into the kitchen where she found Sasuke shirtless cooking Breakfast. Sakura couldn't help but stare. "Good morining Sakura" hearing his smooth voice Sakura snapped out of it. "huh oh good morning Sasuke, Sorry for falling asleep here last night"

"Hn"

"Why didn't you wake me, I could have gone home"

"The weather was still bad last night Sakura, it only cleared up this morning" Sasuke informed her.

"Oh"

"I'm meeting Naruto at the gym so I'll drop you of at our apartment on the way." Sasuke told her.

"Thank you" Sakura replied and Sasuke walked over with two plates placing one in front of Sakura.

Later that afternoon while Sasuke was out at the gym with Naruto Sakura decided to go and meet Sai at the coffee shop to hear all about his trip.

She waited for him to arrive while nibbling on her muffin and sipping on her tea. "Hello Sakura"

"Hi Sai, how are you?"

"Good, you?"

"Same"

"So how's that job of yours going?"

"Well I didn't get a chance to tell you when we were out shopping, I'm working at the Uchiha Company now" Sakura replied with a smile.

"Is that so, how long have you been working there" Sai asked her

"A few months" Sakura replied

"Do you like it?" Sai asked

"I do but I didn't come here to talk about me, I want to hear all about your trip" Sakura said

"It was rather boing to be honest, most business trips are" Sai replied

"I guess that's true" Sakura replied

"I wish you could have come with me though I missed you" he confessed

"I missed you to Sai" Sakura replied making him smile

"So are you and the Uchiha dating?" He asked Sakura

"No, were just friends" Sakura replied

"He broke his promise" Sakura fiddled with the bracelet on her arm

"No his promise still stands we just decided when he came back hat we want to get to know each other before we jumped into anything" Sakura informed him.

"I see, well that gives me an opportunity" Sai said. Sakura lifted her head up to look at Sai taking her

"Opportunity?"

"To win your heart, Sakura I want you to be my girlfriend and not th Uchiha's"

"I'm sorry sai I can't"

"why not"

"Because I have feelings for Sasuke, I only have feelings of friendship for you"

"Well I can try and change our mind"

"Sai don't waste your time on me find a girl who will return those feelings"

"I should get going anyway, I promised the girls I'd met them for dinner" Sakura walked out of the cafe unaware of Sai's angered look. 'one way or another I will have you Sakura' he thought to himself watching her leave.

The next day was Ino's birthday and she was having a party at her house with food, drinks and of course cake.

"Happy Birthday Ino! Sakura said handing her a present that Sakura had wrapped "what did you get me?" Ino asked her. Sakura smiled and waited for Ino to open it. Once she tore of the wrapping she opened the box to find a beautiful royal blue sundress. Ino smiled "Thanks forehead you always know what to get me" Ino said giving Sakura a hug.

Sakura walked into the kitchen getting herself a drink when her phone went off. Thinking it was Sasuke she opened it only to find a text message from an unknown number.

STAY AWAY FOR SASUKE HE'S MINE

Sakura looked up from her phone scanning the room but everyone seemed to be talking, dancing, or playing games. No one seemed to be looking at her or had their phone out.

Sakura put her phone away, figuring I was probably just someone playing some joke and joined her friends that were dancing and having a good time.

Sasuke told Sakura at some point during the night that he was not going to be able to make it to Ino's party because he was stuck in a meeting but promised that he would pick her up and drive her home.

Then next morning Sakura work up to her phone ringing. Sakura turned over to answer her phone "…H-hel..lo?" Sakura said putting the phone to her ear and sitting up in bed.

"Hey forehead girl were all going to the beach and you're coming or I will come over and drag you myself" Ino Said

"Sure Ino sounds like fun who else is going?" Sakura asked.

"The whole group, Hinata, Tenen, Naruto, Neiji, Shikamaru, Sai even Sasuke"

'Oh my goodness Sasuke is going'

'That means we get to see him shirtless'

'So what were just friends'

'Yeah but you want to be more then that'

"Hello forehead are you still there?" Ino said

"What? Oh yea sorry" Sakura replied snapping out of her thoughts

"Did you hear what I just said" Ino asked her

"Yeah you told me who was going" Sakura replied

"No I said Sasuke will be at your place in 15 minutes to pick up you and Hinata" Ino replied

"What! Why did you call me sooner" Sakura yelled and hung up running around her room getting ready.

When they got to the beach they all left to go to the washrooms to change into their bathing suits while the guys just tossed their clothes into the car leaving themselves in just their swim shorts.

Sasuke had on a pair of dark blue shorts with the Uchiha symbol on the left side. Naruto had on a pair of bright orange shorts, Neiji a black pair and Shikamaru had on a pair of green. The guys were standing by the snack stand getting a drink and something to eat as they had not eaten lunch. Naruto was leaning over one of the tables with his mouth full. "Your going to regret eating so much when your done" Shikamaru said

"I'm hungry" Naruto stated

"Well don't complain when you get cramps later" Shikamaru told Naruto

"Dude what are you staring at?" Naruto noticed Sasukes lack of interest in their conversation.

Naruto followed his gaze to the girls

"Oh, looking at Sakua eh.." Sasuke turned his head to hide the pink hue on his cheeks

"Hn"

Sakura was walking towards the guys with the girls beside her.

Sakura wore a red bikini that showed off her perfect curves, you couldn't help the guys for starring the girls were beautiful, hot and sexy. But to Sasuke only had eyes for Sakura. Hinata beside her wore a dark purple bikini, ino a yellow one and tenten a pink one. All the guys just started at them.

"Come on guys lets go play some volleyball" Ino said who was holding the ball in front of her. Naruto snatched the ball from her running towards the water and all the girls took off after him and the rest of the men following the girls.

They decided to play girls against guys.

He girls ended up winning the game with Sakura's amazing serve skills. And Ino's amazing back hand. Also the girls took the advantage of the fact that Naruto couldn't seem to manage to hit the ball and missed ever time it was aimed at him.

"Dobe, the idea is to hit the ball" Sasuke said as they walked away for where they had been playing

"I was just letting them win teme" Naruto replied with a huge grin.

"Whatever you say" Sasuke replied.

After going for a swim They got out of the water walking over to their towels and applying sun screen to each other and the guys sat down in the chairs nearby.

After a couple of hours of tanning in the sun. Naruto said "I'm hungry I'm going to go get something to eat."

"you just ate before" Neji said

"yeah but that game made me hungry" Naruto told him

"Actually I am kind of hungry too" Sakura confessed

"Yeah why don't we all go get something to eat at the snack bar" Ino suggested

Everyone nodded and followed Naruto to the snack bar.

As they were walking Sakura couldn't help but feel jealous of all the women that we staring at Sasuke. She couldn't blame them he was really good looking, who was she kidding he was damn hot with his muscles and six pack exposed. They got to the snack bar and the guys decided to get the food for the girls.

"Sasuke wrapped is arm over Sakua's shoulders noticing a man nearby who was checking her out. "What do you want?" Sasuke whispered into her hair. Sakura blushed being so close to his naked chest.

"J-j..ust I ice cream" She managed to reply

"You need to eat more than that" Sasuke told her

"um.."

"I'm getting you a hot dog" Sasuke said before removing his arm from her shoulders and going to join the guys where they were buying the food.

"O-OK" Sakura stuttered.

"What the heck was that forehead?" Ino asked the girl once Sasuke no long in hearing distance.

"What?" Sakura asked

"Sasuke with his arm over you like you were his girlfriend and you stuttering and blushing" Ino informed the girl

"I was not" Sakura lied.

"Oh yes you were" Ino replied seeing though her best friend.

"Were just friends" Sakura replied

"That was not the actions of two people who are just friends. Sasuke doesn't but his arms like that around me and were friends" Ino said to Sakura

Sakura just shrugged and watched Sasuke order there food.

"Do you girls want to stay over tonight have a girls, movie/ sleep over night?" Ino asked the girls

"That sounds like fun I'll just have to grab a few things before I come over though" Hinata replied.

The guys joined them at their table a few minutes later the food.

"So what is everyone doing after this?" Naruto Asked as everyone was finishing eating.

"well us girls are going over to Ino's for a girls night" Tenten replied.

"That's an idea you guys want to come over so I can kick your ass in call of duty?" Naruto asked

"Did you forget last time shikamaru kicked your ass" Neji reminded Naruto

"Yeah but this time teme is playing so we can kick your butts" Naruto beamed.

"I never said I was coming over" Sasuke said.

"well I decided for you" Naruto replied

"Hn"

"Sasuke do you want the rest of my ice cream I can't seem to finish it" Sakura asked him

"No I don't like sweets" Sasuke replied

"Oh yeah I forgot" Sakura said hanging her had down.

"It's ok it's been 10 years" The group picked up there garbage and placed into the bin before they made their way back to the car for the ride home.

With the Guys

"So what's the deal with you and Sakura have you asked her out yet" Naruto blurted out suddenly during a game. "Come-on I know you like her" Sasuke looked at him surprised he opened his mouth to say something but no words left his lips.

"Teme you're my best friend.. you can't really hide anything from me" Sasuke averted his eyes a blush crept up to his cheeks

"Oh shit , you've got it bad for her, its written all over your face" Naruto said

Sasuke head snapped up "don't you dare tell her dobe " he warned

Naruto chuckled amusingly

"why haven't you asked her out" Naruto asked

"It's not that simple, we agreed to be friends before we became anything more and I don't want to rush her" Sasuke confessed.

Meanwhile with the girls

There were all siting around the couch watching a movie when Sakura felt her phone buzz.

Sasuke: you need a ride home I'm leaving Naruto's now

Sakura: No but thank you

Sasuke: You better not be walking home"

Sakura: No I'm staying at ino's tonight don't worry

Sasuke: Good

Sakura: Night Sasuke

Sasuke: Night

Suddenly Sakura heard the movie stop and looked up see all her friends looking at her. "Ok Sakura who are you texting you've been staring at your phone for five minutes" Ino said

"I was texting Sasuke" Sakura replied hoping they would drop the subject. But she had not such luck

"Sasuke's texting you? What did he say?" Ino asked.

"He was just asking if I needed a ride home" Sakura replied realizing she was not getting out of this one.

"I think Sasuke is into you" TenTen said

"Do you like him Sakura?" Ino asked her best friend. Sakura blushed and tried to sink into the couch to avoid her friends looks.

"OMG you do!" Ino exclaimed

"You guys can't tell him" Sakura begged.

"We promise" Hinata replied

"Speak for yourself Hinata" Ino said looking at Hinata and then turning back to Sakura"

"Please Ino, I have been hanging out with Sasuke a lot lately and I realized I have feelings for him, but I'm not ready to tell him yet because I don't know what his reaction will be"

"Fine I won't tell him, because I'm giving you one month to do it yourself" Ino informed Sakura

"What Ino that's mean" Hinata said

"No I'm helping the girl out, look how long it took you and Naruto to get together because no one helped you" Ino said

"but I don't know if he feels the same way he might just want to stay friends, and I don't know if I can handle that" Sakura replied

"I'm telling you he is into you Sakura" Ino said and the others nodded. A smile crept onto Sakura's lips. But she was very nervous how was she going to tell Sasuke she wanted to be his girlfriend.

A week passed by smoothly, Sakura was enjoying working for Naruto, and he was relieved to have her as his Secretary. Sakura was packing up her things when Sasuke appeared in front of her desk. "Sasuke what are you doing here?"

"Offering you a ride home" A smile appeared on her face and she wrapped her coat around her body and joined Sasuke. "I'd like that" They walked into the elevator not noticing the red headed girl glaring at them. The doors opened and the walked towards the car unaware of the death glare Sakura was receiving form the red headed girl.

Sakura noticed that Sasuke turned down a different road then the one that would take them to her apartment. She asked "Sasuke you took a wrong turn"

"No I didn't, were going to my parents for dinner" Sasuke informed her

"but you didn't even ask me" Sakura replied

"If I had would it have made a difference?" Sasuke asked. Sakura opened her mouth to reply but no words came out "My mother been bugging me to bring you over for dinner"

"Okay then" Sakura replied

When they pulled into the driveway Sasuke got out and opened the car door for Sakura helping her out of the car and escorting her to the door. Once inside it was like a 100 memories came flooding through her brain. The house was so familiar to her even though she hadn't stepped inside for years. Remembering all the times she spent here with Sasuke as a kid. She couldn't help but smile.

"Oh Sakura I'm so glad you could make it." Sasuke mother greeted them as Sasuke was taking Sakura purse and jacket.

"I didn't even know I was coming, Sasuke didn't even ask, he just drove me here" Sakura said before looking as Sasuke who simply shrugged his shoulders and walked out of the entry way.

Sakura sat beside Sasuke at the dining table with Itachi across from them, Mikoto and Fukaku at the ends of the table. Sakura spent most of her time talking to Mikoto about what she had been up to while they had been gone. She told her all about her art class she had taken only to realize it was not for her and how she was now taking singing classes which she really enjoyed and was good at and filled her in on how she had sung a song a little while ago at a bar. Sasuke listened to every word that left her mouth while his brother and father talked business which he would sometime have to respond to a few questions addressed to him. Without realizing it Sasukes hand had taken Sakura's into his under the table. Surprizing Sakura.

She looked down to see Sasukes hand in hers. She turned to look at Sasuke but he was in conversation with his brother. He only let go of her hand when he got up to help his mother clear the table. When his warm hand left hers Sakura couldn't help but feel a little disappointed.

It was a beautiful Saturday morning when Sasuke appeared on her door step with two cups of coffee and two beagels. He was dressed in a pair of jeans and a dark blue t-shirt with a leather jacket over the top.

"Sasuke what are you doing here" Sakura said checking him out still not used to seeing him in casual clothing. The only other time was when they were at the bar and he looked damn sexy now as he did then.

Sasuke couldn't help but stare at Sakura standing in nothing but her light blue nightgown that stopped at her thighs and showed a lot of cleavage he could feel his pants getting tighter.

"I thought we could hang out, but maybe you should change first." Sakura looked down and realized she answered the door in her night gown "Good idea, come wait inside" Sakura said before running down the hall and Sasuke walked in and closed the door behind him before walking into the living room and sitting down on the couch.

"Sasuke do you mind if I take a shower?" Sakura yelled from the bedroom. Sasuke pushed down his blush.

"No" he called back. A moment later the shower turn on. Sasuke leaned back into the couch and turned the tv on. About two minutes later there was a knock on her door. Sasuke got up and went to answer it but when he open the door Sai was standing there. "What are you doing here?" Sai asked him.

"What do you want" Sasuke replied ignoring his question.

"Sakura, where is she?" Sai asked trying to looking around Sasukes form.

"She's in the shower you'll have to come back later" Sai's eyes widened 'did he spend the night?'

"Sasuke began closing the door but Sai reached out and stopped the door. "Wait I'll wait for her" He said

"No. Leave and come back later in you want to see her" Sasuke said and slammed the door in his face. On the other side of the door Sai was fuming and stormed off.

When Sakura came out of the washroom and into the living room. Her hair was dry and left down naturally and she wore a white sundress that stopped above the knee with spaghetti straps and a v neck live showing off her cleavage. Sasuke cursed in his head.

"So where are we going?" Sakura asked with a bright smile.

"How about where we left off the park" Sasuke replied.

"were not 5 anymore" Sakura said. Sasuke smirked and pulled her out the door. There were walking through the streets when a red headed female approached them. She was dressed in a very short skirt and a rather revealing top. Sakura recognized her as Sasuke's mothers Secretary.

"Sasuke fancy running into you who's your friend?" She asked looking Sakura up and down judging her and making Sakura feel very self-conscious.

"This is Sakura Haruno" Sasuke said

"Oh you're the new secretary that works for Gara you poor thing" The girl said to Sakura

"I did, not anymore" Sakura told her

"you got fired? Ouch" The girl said pretending to feel sorry for the girl.

"No just transferred I work for Naruto now" Sakura corrected

"Oh" She said before turning her attention back to Sasuke. "Sasuke would you like to join me for lunch" She said reaching out and touching his arm. Sasuke stiffened and glaring at the girls arm before stepping back putting more distance between them.

"No" Sasuke said

"But" The girl began

"Come on Sakura" Sasuke said taking her hand in his and walking away from the redheaded girl.

"Sasuke are you sure you wouldn't rather hang out with her?" Sakura asked

"Are you crazy, I'm not interested in women like that, I don't like women who through themselves at me" Sasuke replied

Sakura couldn't help but smile.

…..

"Get out of my office!" Sasuke yelled at the blonde man with glasses that was in his office.

"Sasuke please consider the offer you would be a foul-" The man tried to reason

"Thats Uchiha to you and I will not have you insult me in my own office" Sasuke said glaring at the man

"Sasuke! Oh sorry Naruto asked me to bring these reports up" both men turned to look at the interruption.

"I'm sorry Sasuke, the secretary didn't tell me you were in the meeting." Sakura said clutching files and documents in her hands.

"It's aright you can set them down on the table." Sasuke said with his smooth voice.

"Please it's no interruption not when is from a pretty girl like you" Kabuto said extending his hand towards Sakura.

"Keep your hands off her if you know what's good for you" Sasuke said

"Girlfriend?" The man asked eyeing Sasuke

"No sir were just friends" Sakura replied

"Then I really don't see the harm-"The man said but was interrupted by Sakura

"I'm sorry I'm not interested" Sakura said to the man and then looking over at a fuming Sasuke. The man caught the action.

"oh I see, Very well, Uchiha back to the matter at hand, Orochimaru is willing to pay a great deal if you sell this company don't make the mistake the market is good right now and It may not last forever and then you will be wishing-" The man tried to reason with Sasuke

"I will never sell my families company I've told you and Orochimau that already. Now leave and stop coming here" Sasuke said turning away from the man.

The man took the contract and made his way towards the door. "you know there are always ways to change your mind" he said before looking at Sakura. However Sasuke was unaware as he was not facing him but his window.

Once the door closed Sasuke turned to Sakura "are you hungry?" He asked

"Sasuke that sounded like a threat" Sakura said

"They are just desperate and trying to intimidate me we get threats from them constantly but they never do anything about it" Sasuke informed her

"Come on" Sasuke ushered her out of the room with his hand on her back making her blush.

"We've been getting a lot of threats from sound industries asking us to sell our company to them or merge. The problem is its run by a bunch of dirty people their owner dabbles in the black market doing whatever it takes to make money" Sasuke told her on the way to the restaurant.

"Like drugs?" Sakura asked

"Aa among other things" Sasuke replied "They keep offering me and Itachi proposals to sell or merge our companies but we refuse to let our honest company be corrupted. They are just trying to scare us because we are young and are now running the company they think it will be easier to get us to give in compared to father." Sasuke continued.

Kabuto exited the Uchiha building and climbed into a black car "And?" A man with pale white skin and black hair asked who was seated in the car.

"a refusal as usual, however it seems the younger Uchiha is in love with the Haruno it's written all over his face. He didn't take to well to me hitting on her." Kabuto informed his boss.

"Good then this plan might work" The man said with an evil smirk

One evening Sakura had had everyone over for dinner like she usually did once a week. She was in the living room keeping everyone entertained while Hinata took care of most of the cooking. Sakura handed Sasuke a beer before excusing herself and heading into the kitchen to see if Hinata needed any help. Sasukes eyes watched her leave the room before taking a sip of his beer. Unaware of the glare Sai was giving Sasuke. After a moment Sai got up and Sat down beside Sasuke.

"Uchiha I want you to leave" he said.

"No" Sasuke responded

"Why not" Sai asked

"Because I'm spending time with Sakura" he replied

"Yeah well I'm trying to get Sakura to be my girlfriend and that can't happen with you around" Sai informed him. Sasuke was not surprised he'd seen the way Sai looked at Sakura.

Sasuke smirked "hmpf, Even if she did decide to date someone I'd never let it be you, I don't trust you" Sasuke said taking another sip of his beer and turning his attention to the tv that everyone else who was in the room was watching.

"Well I'm not going to let a spoiled brat like you who's had everything handed to him have her either" Sai told him. Sasuke turned his attention back to sai now pissed off.

"Everything I've gotten, I've gotten because my family worked hard to get where they are. nothing has been handed to me, I had to work my ass of to be able to run the company for my father. And I'm going to work just as hard as my father at this company." Sasuke informed Sai.

"Yeah while leaving her to suffer" Sai said hitting Sasuke right in the soft spot, his heart. He knew his leaving had hurt Sakura he wished he never had had to do it but he had no choice which is why he plans to make up for every minute of it.

"That was never my choice, If I had the option I would have stayed here with her" Sasuke replied

"Well you didn't and I've been trying every day to make her smile"

"and falling so why don't you back off and let me show you how it's done" Sasuke replied.

Sai was about to retort when Sakura walked back in the room noticing the tension between the two men "everything ok?" She asked in her sweet voice.

"Fine" Sasuke replied. "Okay" Sakura replied and sat between the two boys on the couch.

"There is a party going on tomorrow night, it's a masquerade party we should all go." Ino said

"Yeah sounds fun" Sakura replied.

"good then we need to go Shopping for our dresses and Masks" Ino Said

"Is that all you think about." "Shikamaru asked ino

"No but I do love to shop" She replied

"Trublesom Women." Shikamaru mutered

"What time should we pick you girls up?" Naruto asked

"You're not, you'll have to find us at the masquerade that's the whole point of a masquerade party" Ino replied

"I wonder who will find her first" Sai whispered into Sasuke's ear after Sakura had disappeared into the kitchen once more.

After dinner everyone decided to watch a movie in the living room and eating popcorn and chips.

At some point during the movie Sakura had dozed off and her head had fallen onto Sasukes shoulder. Naruto was grinning like an idiot at his friends but Sai was shooting daggers in Sasuke's direction. Sasuke carried Sakura to her bedroom for Hinata once everyone left the apartment that night.

The next day Itachi was waiting for Sasuke to arrive in his office. "Itachi" Sasuke said When he walked into his before hang up his jacket and taking a set behind his desk. Itachi handed him a piece of paper which Sasuke took it and read.

"Mr. Uchiha, when did your youngest son begin to like the color pink.." Sasuke stood up instantly.

"Relax Sasuke she arrived this morning she's fine, but I would keep an eye on Sakura if I were you, don't let her go anywhere alone just in case" Itachi advised him.

"I'll let you know if we receive any more threats, but this is the only one that stood out, the others have just been about demanding we shut done, the usual." Itachi informed his bother and left the office.

That evening the girls met Sakura and Hinata at their apartment to go shopping for their dresses and masks.

Sakura found a cream princess style ball gown dress with silver sparkels around the trim with matching gloves. The mask was a cream color with gold trim and sparkles. "Wow Sakura you look just like a princess, you're going to turn heads in that. Tenten told her. Blushing Sakura returned into the changing room before purchasing the dress, gloves and mask.

Hinata found a midnight blue sweetheart style ball gown that looks amazing on her with watching gloves. Her mask was black with a feather on the right side that matched her dress.

Inos dress was a ball gown dress with spaghetti straps in bright fushia pink with match gloves. Her mask was white with a silver trim and pink sparkels.

Tentens dress was a deep green color ball gown dress with spaghetti straps as well like ino's and matching gloves. Her mask was a gold color with gold sparkles on it.

As for the boys they had all gotten a black tux with a white shirt underneath the only difference was their masks. Sasuke found a all balck mask, Naruto a gold one, Neiji a silver one, Sai a white one, and midnight blue one.

The girls got a taxi to drive them all to the party. The room was decorated beautifully with candles all over the room and curtains in silk the hung from the windows the room looked like something out of a castle. The music was playing and Ino dragged the girls off to go dance the minute they walked in.

"Shouldn't we have waited for the guys" Sakura said looking towards the enterence

"No way let them find us" Ino replied

"But there are so many people here how are they going to find us" Hinata replied

"Come on with Sakura's pink hair they will find us" Ino replied. Sakura blushed.

The guys walked in a few moments later. "Wow there's a ton of people here" Naruto said

"Going to make finding the girls a bit of a challenge" Niji said

"Troublesom" Shikamaru muttered. Sasuke began walking further into in room

"Hey Sasuke where you going" Naruto trying to catch up with his friend. Sasuke didn't reply he just kept maneuvering the the crowds of dancing bodies until her reached his destination. Sasuke finaly found Sakura dancing with the girls. Relieved to find that Sai had not beat him to her. She looked like a princess the way she was dressed. The dress she had on fit her like a glove and her hair cascaded down her back and shoulders naturally the way he preferred it. Sasuke pulled her by the waist and turned her around to face him. He bent his head down until his mouth was beside her ear and whispered in his smooth voice that made Sakura heart flutter "Found you"

"Sasuke"

"Aa." He wrapped his arms around her waist and she sneaked her arms up his chest and around his neck letting them rest there. They began to dance. The others were right behind Sasuke finding the other girls and dancing with them. Ino could help but smile at Sasuke and Sakura. They looked perfect together maybe tonight Sakura could finally admit to Sasuke that she wanted him.

"Um Sasuke.."

"Aa"

"Um well.." Sakura's heart was racing so fast. She wanted so bad to tell Sasuke she was ready that she wanted to be his girlfriend she was screaming it in her heard but the words just wouldn't come out. She was scared what if he laughed in her face, what if he rejected her, what if he needed more time.

"I didn't know that you could dance" Sakura said chickening out.

"Aa my mother taught me, she said it would come in useful one day" He replied. The rest of the dance they did not say a word. Sakura was having a batel with herself in her head. While Sasuke was lost in his own thoughts weather or not he should kiss her.

They danced for a while until Sasuke walked off to go and get them some refreshments.

"So Sakura are you going to tell him" Ino nudged the pink haired girl.

"I don't know Ino I'm not sure if I'm ready" Sakura replied with a blush

"Aw come on it would be perfect, in this romantic setting Sasuke didn't take his eyes off you while you danced" Ino Infromed Sakura who turned an even deeper shade of red.

"Hey Sakura" Sai said coming up to Sakura

"Oh hi Sai you made it" Sakura greeted

"The guys aren't here yet?" He asked

"No they are just getting some refreshments" Sai was not pleased knowing the Sasuke had beat him to Sakura.

"Well how about a dance while we wait for them to return" He said

"ah sure I guess" Sakura replied and Sai pulled her into his arms. For the first time she felt uncomfortable near Sai. He had her pressed to close to his body for her liking and his grip on her would not loosen. He had on way to much cologne for her liking and he kept stepping on her feet.

"So I got a new car today"

"Do you want to come outside and take a look" He asked. Sakura turned around looking for any sign of Sasuke or her friends but she did not see them anywhere.

"Ah sure" Sakura replied letting Sai dragged her through bodies of people and out the door.

Meanwhile with Sasuke.

Sassuke was waiting to get some drinks from the bar tender but there were some many people surrounding the bar that it looked like it was going to take a while. 'hope Sakura stays close to ino'

"Fancy running into you Sasuke" A voice came from behind him. Sasuke turned his head to see his Mothers secretary standing behind him wearing a dress that showed way too much clevaged that it looked like her breasts were going to pop out.

"Karin"

She reached out and touched his arm. "Would you like to dance with me?"

"No I already have a dancing partner"

"Oh where is she and who is it?"

"it's Sakura and she's with her friends"

"Oh really? Cause I just say her leaving with Sai" Karin informed him flipping her hair back

"What?..wait..How do you know Sai" Sasuke suddenly asked

"Oh well.."

"Get out of my way" Sasuke pushed her off him and Sasuke ran through the room and out the door.

"So this is my car" Sai said motioning to the black shiny sports car in the parking lot.

"It's very nice, can we go back inside now its cold out here" Sakura said rubbing her hands over her bare arms

"Don't you want to see the inside of it come on I'll turn on the heat to keep you warm" Sai offered unlocking the doors and clibing inside

Sakura didn't want to hurt his feelings seeing how excited he was about his car Sakura said "Alright"

Sakura climed into the car once inside and once the door was closed it both sides locked automatically.

"It smells new" Sakura said

"Yup" Sai replied before pulling out a flask and drinking from it.

"What is that?" Sakura asked

"Rum you want some"

"No thanks" Sakura replied

"How about we ditch this party and go to my place" Sai Said

"No I'm having fun here" Sakura replied

Sai ignored her and turned the ignition of the car

"Sai what are you doing I said I didn't want to go" Sakura said

"I'm taking you somewhere, I want to be alone with you, I like you" Sai replied

"Sai we've been over this I only want to be your friend" Sakura reminded him but he wasn't listening and took another drink form his flask.

Sakura went to try the door but it was locked.

"Sai let me out of the car"

"why" He asked

"because your drunk" Sakura replied

"I'm not drunk I'm fine" He said leaning towards her. Sakura pushed him off her

"I'm not letting you drive me anywhere drunk" Sakura replied

"well I'm not let you drive my brand new car" Sai replied "Besides you like guys with fancy cars don't you" Sai continued leaning over her again

"let's go to my place" He said

"no Sai I'm not going anywhere with you" Sakura tried to open the car door it was still locked

"Sai unlock the door" Sakura begged

"no your coming home with me beautiful" he put the car in drive but slammed the car breaks when Sasuke appeared with his hands on the hood

"going somewhere?" Sasuke said. Sai glared at him.

"Get out of the way Uchiha, me and Sakura are going to go have some fun" Sai Said.

"No, let me out of this car now!" Sakura yelled

"She asked you to let her out, let her out" Sasuke said.

"No" Sasuke reached around the car and Sasuke took the keys from the ignition before pulling Sai out by the open window dropping Sai on the round and unlocked the doors allowing Sakura to get out. Sai through himself at Sasuke while his back was turned and they both fell to the ground. Sasuke pushed Sai off of him.

"Don't pick a fight with me Sai you'll lose" Sai ignored him and threw a punch at Sasuke. Sasuke grabbed his arm twisting it behind his back and pushed him up against the car. "When Sakura asks you to do something you do it" Sasuke told him before releasing him and taking Sakura's hand before leaving the parking lot.

"You were to keep the Uchiha busy, but you couldn't even manage that" Sai said glaring at Karin who came to his side once Sasuke and Sakura were gone.

"I'm sorry" Karin said

"how did he know we were here" Sai demanded

"I slipped up" Karin confessed

"You dumb bitch" Sai replied

It had been a week since the incident with Sai. Sasuke had taken Sakura home because she was no longer in a mood to party that night. She had been so angry and hurt Sakura still couldn't believe the way that that Sai had acted but it had been a week now and she had cooled off slightly. There weekly dinner with all their friends was tomorrow and she still had not seen or heard from Sai since but even if she did see him she had no idea how that conversation would go. She was getting ready for bed when there was a knock at her door. Sakura went to answer it only to find Sai standing on the other side.

"Sai? What are you doing here?" Sakura asked him.

"I'm sorry Sakura, I was the biggest idiot the other night" Sai said.

"you're sorry?" Sakura asked not quite sure if she heard him right

"Yes Sakura I never meant to hurt you or scare you, I was drunk and not thinking and it caused me to be a complete idiot, I promise that it will never happen again" Sai replied. Sakura just stood there not sure what to say or do. After a moment Sai spoke again. "I promise, your important to me Sakura I don't want to lose our friendship over me being a drunken Idiot"

"I don't want to lose our friendship either" Sakura replied

"So am I forgiven?" He asked hopeful

"I guess so but it better not happen again Sai" Sakura replied

"I promise" Sai said

"Good. Are you coming to dinner tomorrow?" Sakura asked

"I'll see you then" He replied.

The next day at the dinner party Sasuke was sitting on the couch when Sai suddenly walked in. Sasuke was pissed. How dare he show up her after what he did to Sakura. No one was content with him showing up by the looks everyone was giving him. Sasuke got up and took Sakura out of the room and down her hall to her bed room.

"Sasuke why are we going to my room?" Sakura asked

Sasuke closed the door behind them keeping his hand on the door.

"Sakura what is he doing here after what happen the other night?" Sasuke asked her.

"Sasuke relax its ok, he came over yesterday and apologized to me for what happened"

"He apologized?" Sasuke asked shocked

"Yes he told me he was drunk and being an idiot and that he did mean to hurt or scare me" Sakura informed him.

"Sasuke he promised that it's never going to happen again" Sakura continue when Sasuke didn't say anything.

"God Sakura how can you be so naive" Sasuke said removing his hand from the door and running it though his hair.

"Excuse me" Sakura said crossing her arms over her chest.

"He just apologized so he can get close to you Sakura, this guy is bad news he's going to hurt you the minute I'm not around" Sasuke said

"That not true Sai is my friend he would never hurt me on purpose" Sakura said.

Their voices started getting louder.

"Sakura please I don't what this guy around you" Sasuke tried to reason

"Sasuke you have to trust me" Sakura told him

"I trust you I don't trust him, He wants to sleep with you Sakura" Sasuke said

"Sasuke how many times do I have to tell you were just friends" Sakura replied

"It's written all over his face Sakura, open your eyes" Sasuke said

"What do you want me to do Sasuke I can't stop being his friend" Sakura told him

"God your impossible" Sasuke said

"Sasuke.."

He turned away and walked out of the room heading out of the room and towards the door of her apartment

"Sasuke where are you going?" Sakura asked following him out of the room

Sasuke ignored her and walked out. Sakura just stood there staring at the door of her apartment expecting Sasuke to turn around and come back but he never did.

"Sakura.." Naruto's voice came from behind her. Sakura didn't answer her shoulders just shook but Naruto could tell she was crying. He pulled her into a hug and let her cry on his shoulder. "We've never fought before" Sakura said a minute later not lifting her head from his shoulder.

"do you want me to go talk to him for you" Naruto asked

Sakura shook her head.

"No I think I'm just going to go to bed" Sakura said backing away from Naruto and whipping her tears.

"You sure" Naruto asked

"Yeah tell everyone I'm sorry" Sakura said and walked away and into her bedroom. Naruto walked back into the kitchen where everyone was sitting down at the table.

"Naruto where are Sasuke and Sakura?" Hinata asked

"Sasuke left and Sakura won't be eating, she said she sorry she just wanted to go to bed" Naruto replied

"Oh is she alright" Ino asked

"No, but she will be" Naruto replied.

After everyone finished eating everyone got up and left leaving just Naruto and Hinata in the apartment with Sakura.

"I think I'm going to go try and track down Sasuke" Naruto said turning to Hinata once they had finished the dishes.

"oh? Ok" Hinata said. Naruto put his shoes on before pulling Hinata by the waist and giving her a kiss on the lips.

"Goodnight Hinata"

"Goodnight Naruto"

Naruto figured that Sasuke would want to be alone which meant that he would most likely find him at his house. Naruto was proved right when Sasuke opened his door.

"Naruto what are you doing here?" Sasuke asked.

"I think you know why?" Naruto said

"Leave me alone I'm not in the mood" Sasuke said about to close the door.

"No" Naruto pushed passed Sasuke and into his house.

"Naruto get out of my house" Sasuke demanded

"Not until you tell me what happened with Sakura" Narto said walking into his house and sitting down on one of the sofas.

"hn" Sasuke closed the door.

"I'm not leaving until you tell me so you mind as well get it over with" Naruto said.

"We had a fight its nothing for you to be concerned with" Sasuke told him sitting down on the couch across from him.

"It is something for me to be concerned with when my two best friends have a fight and one is in her bedroom crying" Naruto informed Sasuke. Sasukes eyes widened slightly and began to feel guilty.

'I made her cry'

"I did mean to..I never..I don't want her being around Sai, how could she forgive him after what her did" Sasuke said

"Now were getting somewhere" Naruto replied

"He's going to hurt her why can't she see that" Sasuke said clenching his fist.

"You know Sakura better than anyone Sasuke, You know how forgiving she is, if you try and force her to not be friends with Sai your just going to hurt her and then you two will never get together" Naruto told Sasuke

"All we can do is keep an eye on him, now go over there and fix things" Naruto told him before getting up and leaving Sasuke alone in his house. Sasuke sat in his house for hours pondering what Naruto had said. It was past midnight when Sasuke made his way over to Sakura's apartment he stood there for about five minutes before knocking on the door. The door opened to find hinata standing in front of him with a robe wrapped around her night gown. "I'm sorry to wake you hinata but I need to see her"

Hinata stepped to the side letting him in before closing the door and locking it behind them. Sasuke took off his shoes while hinata disappeared into her bedroom. Sasuke walked down the hall to Sakuras bedroom that was slightly agar. Sasuke walked around the bed and sat down beside her. She was lying in bed asleep. He could tell she had been crying her eyelids were red and her face was tear stricken. He pushed her hair that had fallen in front of her face behind her ear and caressed her cheek trying to get her to wake up. Sasuke bent down to her eat and said "Sakura wake up, I want to talk"

"Mm..huh? Sasuke?" Sakura moaned rubbing her eyes and turning onto her back looking up at Sasuke before sitting up and turning on the lamp next to her bed.

"What are you doing here?" Sasuke pulled her into a hug surprizing Sakura. "Sasuke.."

Sasuke pulled back a minute later and brought his hand up into her tangled pink locks. He tilted his head and brought his lips down onto Sakura's. Sakura's eyes widened feeling his lips pressed against hers. She closed her eyes and welcomed the kiss wrapping her arms around his neck. Without breaking the kiss Sasuke leaned over Sakura taking his hand out of her hair and bringing it to her back before lowering her down onto the mattress so that she was laying beneath him. He pulled away both catching their breath before Sasuke kissed her again deepening the kiss pushing his toung against her lips asking for permission Sakura opened her mouth and their tongs fought for dominance. Sakura broke there kiss catching her breath before looking up at Sasuke and saying "Does this mean?"

"Aa. I want you as my girlfriend Sakura" Sakura blushed and kissed him.

"I take that as a yes" Sasuke said after she broke the kiss

"I should go"

"No stay, just sleep" Sakura said. Sasuke nodded slipping off his shirt and socks leaving him in his sweat pants. He laid down next to Sakura wrapping an arm around her protectively and her head resting under his chin before saying "Night Sakura"

"goodnight Sasuke"

Both were asleep within minutes in each other's arms.

The next morning Sasuke left early before Sakura or Hinata were awake leaving Sakura a note saying that he had to go get ready for work but he promised Sakura that he would see her at lunch. Sakura's morning at work went by rather quickly proofing reports for Naruto. Just before lunch she was leaving Mikoto's office passing by Itachi when her phone received a text message. She looked down at her phone stopping just in front of the stair case that would lead her back to the floor where he office was located.

Sakura rolled her eyes at the text message and suddenly she was tumbling down the stairs screaming. Hearing a scream Mikoto ran out of her office with Itachi only to see Karin standing at the top of the stairs. "Mikoto! I couldn't grab her, I tried-" Karin said trying to sound innocent.

"Oh my Sakura" Mikoto and Itachi ran down the stairs to Sakura. "Are you alright?" Mikoto asked Sakura. Sakura tried to get up but the minute she put pressure on her leg an enormous pain shot up her leg and she had a cut on her forehead."Ahh! I don't think I can walk" Sakura said.

"Put your arm around my neck" Itachi said. Sakura did as instructed and Itachi swept her up into his arms. "I'll take her to Sasuke and have him take her to the hospital." Itachi told his mother. Sakura felt weird having Sasuke's brother carry her to Sasuke but she had to suck it up for she couldn't walk.

Itachi walked into his bothers office. Sasuke was hunched over paperwork but looked up when they entered. "brother, Sakura here will need to be taken to the hospital" Itachi said before placing her down on the sofa in Sasuke office. Sakura gave Sasuke a weak smile before turning to Itachi "Thank you Itachi"

"Yea" He replied before walking out of the office.

"What happened?" Sasuke asked her coming around his desk and siting on the small area that was left on the sofa next to Sakura.

"I fell" Sakura replied. Sasuke was not convinced.

"hn. Put your arm around my neck" Sasuke said and picked her up into his arms supporting her back and the other lifting her legs and carried her out of the building bridal style.

"want to tell me what really happened" Sasuke asked her as he walked to his car

"I told you I fell" Sakura replied

"No you didn't" Sasuke said

"I got a text so I wasn't looking and next thing I know I'm falling down the stairs so I must not have been looking and fell" Sakura said

Later at the hospital Sasuke was waiting in the waiting room when Sakura's phone kept going off so Sasuke opened it up.

'someone pushed her' Sasuke thought before Sakura appeared in front of him. "the doctor said it's just a sprain nothing too serious" Sakura said. Her foot was wrapped in a tight bandage and she was holding the high heal in her hand.

"why didn't you tell me someone was threatening you" Sasuke said once they were back in his car and he handed Sakura her phone

"Because I figured it was just some jerk trying to play a joke on me I didn't think it was serious" Sakura replied.

"They have been targeting you because your spending time with me. You're staying with me" Sasuke told her.

"What?" Sakura said shocked

"Someone is after you Sakura and until there arrested you're staying with me." Sasuke informed her with a determined look that told Sakura that there was no arguing with him. "Also I think you should go to the police and see they can trace the unknown number" Sasuke continued

Sasuke made a few quick turns and made his way towards Sakura and Hinata's apartment to pick up Sakura's things. When the walked in Hinata was in the kitchen preparing dinner. Hinata came out of the kitchen to greet her friend only to notice her foot "oh my Sakura what happened"

"Well..I think of fell and got pushed down the stairs" Sakura replied

"What by who?" Hinata asked her

"I don't know, someone's been threatening me for spending time with Sasuke" Sakura confessed

"Who would do such a thing?" Hinata asked

"That's what we don't know I never saw who pushed me" Sakura replied

"is your foot broken?" Hinata asked her

"No just sprained luckily, I just have to keep pressure of it for a few weeks" Sakura answered

"That's good" Hinata said

"I'm going to be staying with Sasuke for a while" Sakura informed Hinata

"Are you sure that a good idea if someone is threatening for spending time with him" Hianta said

"I can keep an eye on her if she is staying with me" Sasuke informed Hinata

"Oh ok"

"I'm just going to pack up my things to take to Sasuke's" Sakura said before hopping down the hall to her bedroom with Sasuke right behind her supporting her.

Sakura and Sasuke spent the afternoon packing up all of Sakura's clothing and personal belongings. When they were done Sasukes car was full. They didn't take the furniture in her bedroom because Sasuke explained that she would not be needing it at his house. The had dinner with Naruto and Hinata at the apartment before the made to the police station and heading to Sasukes house.

When they arrived at the house Sasuke, got Sakura situated on the couch with a few pillows under her leg and foot before he disappeared to make a few phone calls one being Itachi

"Hello Brother, how is Sakura?"

"Her foot is sprained" Sasuke replied

"well i hope it heals soon." Itachi said

"Itachi, I need you to check the videos from the cameras for the area where Sakura fell, I believe that she was pushed by someone" Sasuke asked his borther

"Sure Sasuke but I don't think we're going to find anything on them, the cameras don't really reach the angel of the stairs" Itachi reminded him

"I know but I want to check anyway" Sasuke replied

"Alright I'll drop them off to you tonight"

"Thank you"

Sasuke returned to the living room and sat down next to Sakura putting he leg on his lap. He was about to ask her a question when her cell phone rang

"Hello" Sakura answered not recognizing the number.

"Miss. Haruno, this is inspector Philips do you have a moment" and older man's voice sounder on the other line

"Yes" Sakura replied

"Good. We traced your phone and we have managed to find out it belongs to another employee within the Uchiha Company. I will need to speak with your boyfriend Mr. Uchiha is he with you?"

"he is right next to me I'll pass the phone to him" Sakura replied

"Excellent"

"Sasuke it's the inspector apparently the number belongs to an employee at the company" Sakura said handing him her phone.

"Sasuke speaking" He said placing Sakuras phone to his ear

"Mr. Uchiha as I just explained to Miss. Haruno we have managed to track down the text messages to an employee within your company."

"Have you made the arrest" Sasuke asked

"that is why I need to speak with you Karin was not at her home, we will keep searching for her and we suggest that you let your security at your company know as well. Do you know why this women would target Miss. Haruno because I fail to find a connection"

"The women is in love with me, even though I have shown the women no interest, she is my mother's secretary" Sasuke replied

"Well since Sakura is your girlfriend that would explain why this women would go after her. If she shows up to work do not do anything rash just apprehend the women and call me immediately you have my work and personal number."

"Aa."

Sasuke hung up the phone and gave it back to Sakura. "Did he say who?"

"Karin, they are trying to find her at the moment she is not at her home"

"what?" Sakura said shocked and slightly scared

"Don't worry it's only a matter of time before they find her. But until they I'm not leaving your side to ensure your safety" Sasuke replied rubbing her leg.

"Thank you Sasuke"

"Aa" Sasuke leaned over and kissed Sakura softly on the lips.

For the next two weeks Sasuke worked from home not wanting to leave Sakura alone while Karin was out there and her foot having to heel. On the third week Sakura was able to return to work. Naruto promised Sasuke that he would keep an eye on Sakura and that he would not let any harm come to her.

During the afternoon Sakura had received a call from Ino inviting her out to dinner that evening saying that it had been almost been a month last saw her due to her accident. Sakura had gladly accepted the invitation saying that her and Sasuke would be there.

"Sakura? Are you alright" Sasuke asked her while they were sitting on the couch watching tv and chatting with Ino and Shikamaru.

"Sasuke I don't feel so good" She looked very pale and looked like she could faint any minute.

"Come on I'm going to take you home"

"but what about the dinner Hinata worked so hard id feel…oh no I like I'm going to be sick" Sakura got up from the couch suddenly and ran down the and into the bathroom.

"Sakura are you ok?" Sasuke asked only to hear Sakura be sick through the door.

"PLEH"

A few minutes later Sakura came out of the bathroom and looked up at Sasuke "Okay , I think you need to take me home" Sakura said.

Within five minutes Sasuke got them to his house. After unlocking the door Sakura ran upstairs to the bathroom while Sasuke went into the Kitchen to get Sakura a glass of ginger ale.

After throwing up for the second time Sakura changed into a pair of pyjamas and got into bed.

A minute later Sasuke appeared in the bedroom and offered her glass of gingerale.

"It will help" Sasuke said. Sakura sat up taking the glass from him and drinking about half before setting it on the bedside table.

"Thank you" Sasuke turned around to leave but Sakura stopped him

"don't go"

"Im just going to get some coffee and make you some soup." Sasuke replied

Remembering that they didn't get to have dinner, Sakura nodded and let him disappear towards he kitchen.

The next morning Sakura woke up with her head resting of Sasukes chest and his arm wrapped around her lower back. She got up carefully letting the young Uchiha sleep and went into the bathroom to brush her teeth. She felt a ton better and did not feel sick at all so she decided to go and make them some breakfast to thank Sasuke for taking care of her.

Sasuke woke up to an empty bed and the smell of bacon. Thinking that Sakura must be making them beakfast he got out of bed not bothering to put a shirt on and made his way downstairs to the kitchen.

Sakura's hair was out of her bun running over her shoulders in natural waves still in her pyjamas which consisted of a black camisole and a pair of short pink shorts. She was incredibly Sexy, showing off her long slender legs, not to mention the cleavage that was exposed by her top. "Good morning Sasuke" Sakura greeted placing two plates on the kitchen table next to two mugs filled with coffee.

"Morning" He greeted taking a seat in front of one of the plates. Sakura couldn't help but stare at his chest thinking about what it would be like to run her hands over his six pack and feel his muscles. Sakura took at seat across from Sasuke taking a sip of her coffee trying to distract herself from Sasuke's body. "I wanted to thank you for taking care for me last night Sasuke"

"are you feeling better" he asked

"a lot, now I'm just hungry" She replied with a smile

"Good"

That night Sakura and Sasuke were sitting on his couch watching a movie with Sakura curled up next to him.

"Sakura.."

"Yes Sasuke"

"are you available tomorrow night"

"Yeah why"

"I'd like to take you out, we have not had a real date yet so i-" Sakura leaned over and kissed him cutting Sasuke off.

"yes" Sakura replied after she pulled her lips away from his. Sasuke smirked tangling his hand in her pink locks.

He kissed her this time pushing his tongue against her lips asking for entrance. She opened her mouth letting his tongue explore her mouth deepening the kiss. Sasuke pushed his body against hers until she was laying on the couch with him hovering over her.

His lips left her mouth and kissed up her neck sucking on the skin at the bottom earning him a moan from the beautiful women under him. He had one hand pressed into the couch while the other travelled behind her lower back and slipped under her shirt. Enjoying the feel of her soft skin.

His touch left her skin feeling like it was on fire. She blushed when her got close to her bra but he never attempted to undo it.

Wanting to touch him Sakura slipped one of her hands under his shirt feeling his song muscles underneath. Sasuke pressed their bodies together but was careful not to put all of his weight on her so he didn't crush her.

Suddenly Sakura gasped felling something hard against her lower region.

"Sasuke"

"shh, it's okay I'm in no hurry. I plan on taking this slow" he assured her

"Thank you" She replied

Sakura kissed him wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Although we should probably stop so that I don't do something I shouldn't" Sasuke said climbing off Sakura and leaning back against the couch trying to get his urges under control.

"Are you okay?" Sakura asked fixing her hair

"Aa. I'll be fine after a cold shower." He confessed

"Ok I should probably get ready for bed anyway" Sakura replied getting up from the couch and walking down the hall out of Sasuke's line of sight.

"I have some updated information"

"Oh?"

"I can confirm that the youngest Uchiha is now dating the pink haired women, he has even taken her to his parents home."

"I believe it's almost time to meet the cherry blossom" the man said with an evil grin

Sasuke got to work and opened his office door to find his brother itachi waiting for him. "Itachi, what are you doing here" Sasuke asked

"You remember the business trip we discussed about a month ago" Itachi said

"Aa. The meeting is in one week from now" Sasuke replied

"well they have moved the meeting to tomorrow morning I need you to leave tonight" Itachi told him. Sasuke was not happy he was planning on taking Sakura on their first real date tonight and now he had to tell her that he couldn't.

"Fine. But I'm taking today off then" Sasuke told his brother and walking out of his office. He made his way to Sakura's office and approached her desk.

"Sasuke what are you doing here?"

"Sakura, I can't take you out tonight, I have to catch a flight to attend a business meeting taking place tomorrow" Sasuke informed her.

"Oh, well I guess we can go when you get back then" Sakura replied her smile disapearing

"I'm going to be gone for a week, so were going on our date now" Sasuke said

"What? Sasuke I have to work"

"Not today, if Naruto has a problem he can take it up with me" Sasuke informed her and they made there way out of the office towards Sasukes car.

Sasuke drove them to a small restaurant. They were shown to a seating area near the back and offered a couple of menus.

"I'll be back in a few moments to take your order" There waiter said. There waiter was a young man with blonde hair and a slim build who's eyes lingered on Sakura a bit to long for Sasuke liking. Sasuke glared at him as he walked away.

"Do you know what you want to order Sasuke?" Sakura asked. He was about to reply when an older man with long dark air approached there table

"Ah Sasuke how are you I have not seen your father in quite some time" the man said. Sasuke stood up and shook his hand.

"Mr. Hyuga I am well my father recently stepped down, which may explain the reason for you not seen him as often"

"Did he now? so he got you and your brother to take over I imaine"

"Yes sir, things are going very well"

"Good to hear, well I will leave you I can see that you have company, but send my regards to your father will you" Mr. Hyuga said

"I will thank you" Sasuke replied and returned to his seat when Hyuga walked away.

"My apologies Sakura" Sasuke said turning his attention back to her. They had their meals and then made their way back to Sasukes home afterwards.

When they walked in Sasuke closed the door behind them and said "I'm sorry for the interruption Sakura"

"Sasuke your in charge of a huge company I'm aware of who the man is that I am in love with…" Fear washed over her once the words left her mouth not daring to look in Saskues direction who was smirking at Sakura.

"Sakura" Sasuke walked up to her until their bodies were just about touching. Tangling his hand in her hair at the back of her head he made her look at him and his lips crashed down onto hers. He poured all the passion and love into the kiss hoping she would understand that he loved her as well. He pushed his toung into her mouth tasting every inch of her mouth. Sasuke pulled her by the back of the legs and she wrapped them around his waist. When their lips pulled away from each Sasuke set her down and Sakura pulled Sasuke up to the bed room. Sasuke stopped in front of the door. "Sakura are you sure?" She nodded and sat down on his bed waiting from him to join her. Her walked into the room closing the door behind him before approaching Sakura on the bed and leaning down and kissing her. Sakura leaned back until her body hit the soft matrice and Sasuke climbed on top of her.

Sasuke kissed down her neck while one of his hands ran up her side and over her left breast giving it a good squeeze and earing and him a moan from Sakura. Her back arched and her head leaned back. When Sakura returned to the bedroom her phone beeped. She picked it up to find a text rom Sasuke that said "I love you"

Sakura had everyone over for dinner one night but they had all left soon afterwards leaving just Sakura and Sai who were watching the end of a movie before he wanted to leave. "Why are you ginning at your phone like it's the greatest thing in the world" Sai asked her

"Hm? Oh Sasukes texting me, he's on his way home, he should be here by the morning" Sakura replied

"What the hell do you see in him, he an arrogant rich jerk" Sai Said

"You only think that because you don't know him the way I know him. He's been my best friend for as long as I can remember we know everything there is to know about each other." Sakura informed Sai

"He's never work hard at anything he just gets whatever he wants doesn't he." Sai said suddenly before pushing Sakura down onto the couch. Sai glared at the marks on her neck.

"Sai what are you doing get off me" Sakura said trying to push him off

"he doesn't deserve you, he left you here alone and depressed, he wasn't here when you needed him, but I was I was here and I did everything in my power to try and make you forget about him. I deserve you Sakura me I want you." Sai suddenly smashed his lips against Sakura's.

"mm.. Sai stop it get off me, let go" Sakura managed to push him off but he hit his head on the table. "Sai please just leave"

"Not going to happen." he backed her up into a corner until she had nowhere to go and her back hit the wall. Sai pinned he hands to the wall and began kissing her neck. "No Sai don't, stop" She got one of her hands free when Sai used one of his hands to feel under her shirt and her flat stomach. Sakura balled her hand up into a fist and punched him in the jaw hurting herself in the process "Ahh!" Sakura clutched her hand to her chest.

"You bitch, you punch me" he pulled her by the hair and threw her into the wall. Sakura fell down clutching he head feeling dizzy she didn't notice Sai get on top of her and began hitting her all over. Using what stretch she had left she kneed him between the legs and ran out of the house as fast as she could. She ran behind the neighbours trees and hid until she was sure that he wasn't going to come after her. She must have waited for about an hour in her pyjamas and nothing on her feet when she saw him leave the house. Sai never looked behind as he left the house heading in the direction of his house. Sakura waited for another half hour after that when she was sure he would have reached his own house and she took off to the one place she knew she would be safe the Uchihas.

Sakura showed up on The Uchiha's door step her clothes were torn her hair a mess, a bruised lip, a swollen eye and cuts up her legs. She had tears in her eyes and had no shoes on. "Sakura? What happened to you?" A worried Mikoto said seeing Sakura's appearance on her door step.

"Sasuke's not back yet can I say here?" Sakura asked shaking from the cold and from fear. She looked behind her before looking back at Mikoto.

"Come inside Sakura and I'll call him ok" Mikoto got her seated on the couch before she picked up the phone to call her youngest son.

"You've reached Sasuke Uchiha leave a message after the beep"

"Sasuke, I guess you're on the plane on your way home, you need to call me as soon you get this Sakura just showed up here crying and her clothes torn, she only wants to talk to you, Sasuke call me" Mikoto said into the phone before hanging up.

"Sakura he didn't answer, he is probably on his way back from his business trip, he will call soon….I'll go get some tea calm our nerves, and warm you up, I'll be right back" Mikoto told the girl before heading into the kitchen.

Sakura nodded hugging her legs to her body.

Mikoto, came back with the tea for Sakura five minutes later placing it on the coffee table. She was about to ask the girl a question when the phone rang "I hope that's Sasuke" she said

"Hello"

"Mother! What going on?" Sasuke's voice yelled through the phone. She walked out of the room to talk to her son.

"I don't know Sasuke she won't talk to me, but she's a mess" She told him

"I'm on my way, I'll be there in 10 minutes I'm in a taxi now" Mikoto walked back into the room and Sakura still had not moved.

"Sasuke is on his way, you should try and drink some of your tea Sakura I promise it will help." Mikoto urged the girl "I'm going to go get you some ice for the cut on your lip and your swollen eye. " she continued

Mikoto came back with a towel and ice. She offered it to Sakura and she took it from Sasuke's mother putting it to her mouth wincing. "Thank you"

Sasuke walked in the door dropping his bag on the ground. He entered the living room and what he saw shocked him.

"God Sakura!" Sasuke ran over to her kneeling in front of her. "Sasuke" Tears were streaming down her face. "Sakura what happened?" he touched her thigh, she was freezing. "Mother can you fetch a blanket" Sasuke asked turning his head away from her for a moment.

"We were all over at the house 'sniff' everyone starting leaving until it was just me and Sai" Sakura informed her boyfriend.

"What did he do?" Sasuke said anger in his voice.

"He said how you didn't deserve me, how I could do better, I asked him to leave, but he wouldn't 'sniff' he forced me down on the couch and kissed me, I told him to stop but hit me and he wouldn't stop he started touching me and I kicked him and ran out of the house I fell a few times which is why I have cuts…..Sasuke I'm so sorry, you were right about him" Sakura informed him. Sasuke got angrier and angrier as she went on.

"I'm gonna kill him" Sasuke said standing up to walk out of the house.

But his mother was there to stop him. She placed her hand on his chest "Sasuke, Don't be foolish let the police handle him, Sakura needs you, the last thing she need is you in jail for abuse to this Sai." Sasuke took a deep breath.

"Fine ill call the police" He turned back to Sakura and sat down on the couch beside her. "You need to report him Sakura so he doesn't do this again" Sakura nodded and Sasuke pulled out his phone and dialled 911 "Police department please"

"Yes my girlfriend was attacked tonight" Sasuke said into the phone. While holding Sakura against him. "the police are on their way, they are going to need a report from you Sakura" She nodded trying to keep herself awake.
When the police arrived they took Sakura's report and the description of Sai. Sasuke drove them the house but before entering he checked the entire house top to bottom to make sure Sai was not in the house hiding somewhere even though Sakura had told him she saw him leave. Sakura was so tired but Sasuke insisted that she took a bath before she got some rest. After her bath she changed into a pair of comfortable sweat pants and a tank top she pulled her hair into a low bun before crawling into bed but she found herself being unable to fall asleep being alone and scared so she got out of bed and made her way down stairs to where Sasuke was in the living room watching tv.

"Sakura, why aren't you sleeping" He asked her. She ignored his question and got onto the couch next to him and rested her head on his lap facing away from the tv and closing her eyes. Sasuke pulled the blanket that he had on the back of the couch and draped it over Sakura. She was asleep within minutes feeling safe in Sasukes arms.

"Sakura are you sure your ready to go back to work?"

"Sasuke I can't hide in your house forever, until the police find Sai"

"I get that bu-"

"No buts I'm going besides you will be taking me to and from work, and Naruto will be watching over me while I'm at work nothing is going to happen, I trust you guys to keep me safe, besides you have building security, Sai can't get into the building"

"It's not just said though Sakura Karin is still on the run as well and I'm sure they are working together"

"Maybe they are but, the police will find them, I can't let them ruin my life"

"Alright"

A blond man with glasses entered a dark room and approached the desk where a man with pale skin long black hair and eyes that looked like a snake was seated.

"You return yet I do not see the girl" The man behind the desk said

" it's proving to be difficult to obtain the girl, I'm afraid that the youngest Uchiha does not leave her side" the blond man said

"yes do to Sai disobeying my orders, he has made this a rather difficult task" he stood up from his desk and turned to look out the window. "very well you will have back up and I shall go with you" The dark haired said.

"Thank you sir"

"I will inform you of the plan shortly"

"Sir"

"Has here been any update on the Sai and Karin situation?" Sasukes father asked him when they went over or dinner on night.

"they have had no luck finding them" Sasuke replied

"they will" Sakura replied taking his hand

"Your very brave Sakura" Sasukes mother said. Sakura smiled.

"Let's talk about something else shall we?" Itachi suggested

"good idea"

"How are things going at the office, is orochimaru still giving you boys a hard time" fugaku asked the boys

"Well he has stoped sending men to the office with merging contracts, I think they got the message when Sasuke yelled at the last one" Itachi replied. Sasuke smirked

"We are still receiving threats though" Sasuke replied

"The man is persistent, but don't let him push you around just keep doing what you have been doing"

"aa"

"ready to get going Sakura" Sasuke asked her. Sakura nodded

"Thank you for dinner Mikoto, Fukaku"

"You welcome Sakura"

"Goodnight"

Sasuke and Sakura walked down the path towards his car, but Sasuke took her hand before she could open the car door and said "let's take a walk before going home"

"That would be great it's so beautiful out" They walked down many streets until they came upon a familiar park, the one where they first met.

"I have not been here in ages" Sakura said

"I came here often when I first got back, trying to find you" Sasuke said. Sakura walked over to he swings but before she could sit down Sasuke took her hands in his and stared into her eyes.

"Sakura.." He said and slowly he got down on one knee while holding her hands "Sakura, I love you, I always have ever since we were kids, not a day went by when we were apart that I didn't dream of being with you. Sakura will you marry me and become Sakura Uchiha?"

Tears were flowing down her cheeks. But Sakura managed to nod her head yes. Sasuke let go of her hands and reached into his pocket for the ring which was a diamond in the middle with two pink ones on each side of it on a gold band. He slid the ring onto her finger which was a perfect fit. She pulled Sasuke up towards her and kissed him with everything she had. When they pulled apart Sakura looked at the ring again and said "Sasuke it's Beautiful"

"Come let's get you home" Sasuke said wrapping his arm around her waist. They started walking toward the entrance of the park back towards his parents' house when suddenly a bunch of men surrounded them. Sasuke stood in front of Sakura protectively

"Hello Sasuke my boy"

"Sasuke who is he"

"Orochimaru" Sasuke spat "what do you want?"

"I've had enough of your family getting in my way"

"your threats don't scare us Ocrocimaru, I'll never give you our family's company or get involved with a corrupt one like Sound Industries"

"You're going to regret that" Orochimaru replied with a smirk. "Ahh"

Sakura was suddenly grabbed from behind by one of the men. "Sakura" Sasuke went to get the man off of her but three men got in his way

"let her go"

"Get her in the car" Orochimaru ordered walking away with the man that had Sakura "Sasuke!" Sakura yelled and kicked the man that had Sakura in the shin make him release her. She ran towards Sasuke but Orochimaru grabbed her by the arm and cover her mouth with a cloth making her pass out.

"SAKURA!" Sasuke shouted. He was so distracted by what was happening that he kept getting hit over and over. He got knocked down to the ground but he managed to get up. He grabbed one guys arm and tossed him into a group of men knocking some of them over hoping to make an opening for him to get to Sakura but there was just too many. Sasuke threw punch after punch but he was getting weak and there was just to many till finally he got hit in the back of the head his last though was 'Sakura' before he went down and everything went black.

It was about 2 hours later and Itachi noticed his bothers car was still parked in front of his parents' house as he was leaving. Knowing that Sasuke was planning on purposing tonight he found it strange that the car was still there 'they should have been back for the car by now' Itachi thought. He picked up his cell phone and dialed Sasukes phone number to make sure everything was ok.

"You've reached Sasuke Uchiha leave a message after the beep" 'strange'

'I'll swing by the park just to make sure' Itachi thought

It took him about 10 minutes before he arrived at the park and saw someone face down near the entrance. Itachi ran over and the closer he got he realized it was his brother "Sasuke!"

"Sasuke, wake up" Itachi rolled him over and saw all the bruises and cuts over his brothers face and arms. Sasuke didn't wake up though. He quickly took out his phone and dialed his father

"Itachi?"

"Father, its Sasuke he's injured and unconscious at the park, bring the car" Itachi said and hung up. He got his brother into a sitting position and placed one of sasuke arms around his shoulders. There father arrived with the car leaving it running and ran over to help itachi placing sasukes other arm over his shoulded and they got him inside the car.

"Oh my gosh what happened?" Mikoto said seeing the boys walk in with Sasuke who was out cold

They got him to Sasuke's old bed room and placed him down onto the bed

"Is he alright" She asked following them

"No major injuries, just minor cuts and bruises, I checked" Itachi informed her

"Where is Sakura?" She asked

"No sign of her" Itachi said

"I'm going to call the police" Fukagu said exiting the room

"Do you know what happened" Mikoto asked her oldest

"No clue, when I noticed his car still out front when I left, I went to go check on him and found him face first on the ground by the entrance to the park and no sign of Sakura" Itachi informed her "Will have to wait for him to wake up to find out more"

"We should call Naruto" Mikoto said

"Aa, I'll call him, take care of Sasuke" Itachi Said exiting the room

Mikoto washed placed and damp cloth on his forehead and treated the cuts that she could find

"Who would do this to you" She thought before exiting the room

…

"Where is he?" Naruto asked walking into the house

"Upstairs, come I'll show you" Itachi said

"Naruto, it's good to see you, do you know anything about this"

"Nothing" He replied looking at how beat up his friend was

"and you have not heard from Sakura"

"No" he replied

"hopefully the police will find her" Mikoto said

"Whoever did this probably has her, but we won't know who until he wakes up I'm afraid" Itachi said "Mother, we should get some sleep, Naruto your good to watch him"

"yea" Naruto replied

…

Hours passed until finally Sasuke started to stir

"Sakura!" Sasuke shouted into a sitting position

"Sasuke! Your awake, what the hell happened?" Naruto aske rushing to his bed

"Orochimaru, he's…he's got Sakura" Sasuke confessed

Naruto grabbed him by the shirt "You bastard, why didn't your protect her"

"Don't you think I know that, I don't need you reminding me" Sasuke shouted

"I…I..love her" he said just above a whisper

Naruto let go of his shirt and sat down beside him on the bed "Sasuke…"

"We were ambushed, I couldn't fight them all, he garbed Sakura and he forced her into a car, I failed her" Sasuke said

"We have the police out looking for her son, and now we know who to have them look for" Fukagu said and then exited the room to call the police

"I have to find her" Sasuke said, trying to get out of bed but winced from the pain

"You can't go anywhere just yet brother, your bruised all over" Itachi said with his hand on his shoulder to keep him in the bed

"I know this isn't the time but, did you ever get the chance to ask?"Mikoto asked. Sasuke smirked. Mikoto covered her mouth with a gasp"

"Really ?" She asked. Sasuke nodded

"I'm going to have a daughter in law and it's going to be Sakura" Mikoto said with her eyes watering

"All the more reason to find her" Itachi said. He knew his mother always wanted a daughter but was blessed with two boys instead.

A week passed and Sasuke had regained his strength but there were no leads on the location of Orochimaru and Sakura. But the morning Sasuke's father received a letter received a letter.

Fugaku tore open the envelope and began to read

"Did they find her?" Sasuke asked jumping out of bed approaching his father. Fugaku handed him the letter

That afternoon Fugaku called the police over to get an update on the situation and presented them the letter they had received. They were all the living room. Sasuke sat with his elbows resting on his knees his hands intertwined in front of his emotionless face. His mother sat beside him rubbing his back trying to comfort him and ease the stress and worry from her youngest son.

"were doing everything we can to find miss Haruno" the police officer said

"Well it's not enough if you have not found her" Sasuke spat

"Mr. Uchiha we are searching as we speak, we will find her" he said

"Well find her quickly this man has a grudge against this family clearly he is aware of how much she means to my son and is using her to get to us" Fukagu replied

"As you can imagine my brother is very worried" Itachi said

"I'll keep you updated" the officer said before exiting the house.

"father I fear the police are not equipped to handle Orochimaru, even if they do manage to find him" Itachi said

"Aa Itachi, contact Kakashi; I want our agents out looking for her" Fukagu said

"Sasuke sweetheart where are you going" Mikoto asked seeing him get up from the couch

"To find Sakura, I can sit here and do nothing while she is in his hands." Sasuke said leaving the house.

With Orochimaro
When Sakura slowly opened her eyes evething was hard her head was punding and she found hands chained to the wall

"Ah the cherry blossom awakes" A voice said form across the room.

"Huh show yourself and where am I"

"You ask a lot of questions" The voice said before approaching her. Orochimaru appeared before her. Sakura glared at him

"It seem you remember your captor" Orochimaru said

"Let me go"

"I can't do that blossom you're my leverage against the uchihas. Soon they will hand over there company to me and it will all be because Sasuke fell in love with you" He said before walking away from her and leaving her alone once more.

Hours later with the Uchihas

"Father I've got an idea"

Sasuke explained how he wanted to impersonate a guard at Orochimarus mansion so he could get close enough to Sakura, while Itachi fake negotiates with Orochimaru. While he is away Sasuke can steal Sakura away.

"hmm, it's risky but we don't have many options here" Fugaku said

"I'll arrange the meeting" Itachi said

"I will call the police and inform them of our plan I will also attend this meeting with you Itachi" Fugaku informed him. Fugaku took out his phone and turned to Sasuke. "Be careful Sasuke, do not be discovered"

"My lord they are ready to negotiate, I have arranged a meeting with you and the Uchihas at noon at the office." Orochimaru's secretary said over the phone.

"excellent." Orochimaru said before hanging up the phone.

Orochimaru made his way to the basement where he had Sakura chained up. He approached her grabbing her chin in his hand "well my dear looks like you mean something to Sasuke after all. So much he's will to give up the company." Orochimaru said, Sakura glared at him. He released her and walked out of the room. 'Sasuke what are you thinking'

"everything is ready we have a meeting for 11 pm tonight" Itachi informed his family

"Sasuke are you prepared?"

"Aa."

"Sweatheart please be careful" Mikoto said. Sasuke gave her a hug and walked out the door to where his car was park. He got in his car and drove off towards Orochimaru's Mansion. It took him about 2 hours to reach his location he packed close to the mansion but far enough away that he would not be spotted.

He watched the entrance for hours wait for Orochimaru to leave the mansion. It wasn't until 10:30 PM that he saw Orochimaru leave with Kabuto and a few other men get into a car.

Oochimaru sliped pout closing the door behind him. Once orochimaru was out of sight Sasuke slipped into the room quietly.

"We had a feeling that you would try and pull something like this" Sasuke felt the barrel of a gun being pushed against the back of his head. "Hands up Uchiha" Sasuke turned his head to the side thinking he recognized the voice and was right when he say Sai standing behind him along with Karin. Sai took the gun from him and kicked him making Sasuke drop to his knees.

"hmpf, that's right on your knees where you belong Uchiha show Sakura just how weak you really are, you see now Sakura, he couldn't protect you and now he can't even save you, do you regret choosing him over me yet" Sai said

"The only weak one I see here is you Sai, you couldn't accept the fact that I didn't love you so got Orochimaru to go your dirty work" Sakura said. Karin walked up towards Sakura and slapped her across the face hard making her spit up blood. Sasuke wanted to get up but Sai pointed the gun at Sasuke.

"Oh no you don't" Sai said

"if it weren't for Orochimau's orders I would have killed Uchiha here in front of you, but he promised Karin she could have him once he's got nothing left."

"But that doesn't mean we don't get to torcher you a bit, Karin" She but her gun away and pulled out a knife and stood in front of Sakura "I'm going to enjoy this" She stabbed Sakura though the thigh "Ahh" Sakura screamed

"Bitch this is what you get for steeling what's mine" Karin said. She hit her in the back of the head with the back of her gun not wanting to her her annoying screams. Sasuke's hands turned into fist feeling helpless

"Stop it, get away from her" Sasuke spat. Karin smirked "Not a chance"

Suddenly the door was busted open and Naruto came in the shot Sai's gun out of his hand. Sasuke and Sai both dived for it. But Sasuke got there first and smacked him with it behind the head knocking him out while Naruto grabbed Karin before she could move.

"Police are on their way Sasuke" Naruto said. Sasuke ran over to Sakura and untied her. She fell against his chest being unconscious. Sasuke wraped one arm around back and the other under her legs gathering her into his arms and caring her out of the room as the police stormed in and arrested both Sai and Karin with many anyone else who was in the mansion and placed them into police cars. Sasuke laid Sakura down in the back seat of his car and drove to the hospital.

When he got to the hospital he was instructed to place her down on a bed in one of the rooms and wait for a doctor. He didn't wait long before one came in and checked her over.

"She's going to need stitches, and head scan to check for any head injury or brain damage since you said she was hit in the back of the head. Go wait in the waiting room and I will come and get you when she is returned to the room."

When Sasuke got to the waiting room his mother and brother along with a police officer were there in the waiting room.

"Sasuke sweetheart you're alright" Mikoto said hugging him

"What are you guys doing here did Naruto call you?" Sasuke asked releasing his mother surprised to see them in the waiting room.

"Father was shot in the shoulder by Orochimaru , but he is going to be alright the police managed to wrestle Orochimaru down and arrest him. What about Sakura is she alright?" Itachi informed his brother

"She was stabbed in the thigh and hit in the back of the head, She's still unconscious, they are going to do a scan to make sure there isn't and damage and she will need stitches for the wound" Sasuke said

Suddenly Fuaku came down the hall without his shirt on and his shoulder bandaged up. "Honey are you alright" Mikoto asked approaching her husband

"Fine" He replied

"Your Sasuke Yes" the police officer final asked Sasuke

"Aa"

"I just need to ask you a few questions for the report"

"Alright"

"Fist how do you know Miss. Haruno?"

"I've known her since I was a kid and she's my finance"

"Oh congratulations"

"Thank you"

"Can you tell me what happened when you arrived at the residence" Sasuke told him everything that happened and answered a bunch more questions until the officer was satisfied and left leaving Sasuke to wait with his family"

The doctor came down the hall and approached Sasuke "So we did a scan and there does not appear to be and damage and stitched her up. She should be fine when she wakes up. Will get her to answer a few basic questions when she wakes just to make sure. After that you should be able to take her home" The doctor said

"Thank you" Sasuke replied

"She's in 4A if you wish to say with her." He said before finally walking away. Sasuke quickly asked a nurse where the room was and he entered with his family right behind him. He sat down beside her on the bed and held her hand.

"I'm going to stay her with her till she wakes up" Sasuke told his family before turning his head to look at Sakura guilt eating at him.

"Allright call us if you need anything take care of her" Mikoto said and left the room with Fukagu close behind. Itachi lingered a moment and approached his brother placing a hand on his shoulder before walking out of the room. Sasuke was falling asleep in the cahir beside her bed holding her hand when he felt her move.

"S-sauke? " She whispered after she opened her eyes and say the dark hair. He lifted his head "Sakura" He ran out of the room quickly "Nurse tell the doctor she's awake" the nurse nodded at him and he ran back inside to see her siting up.

"Sasuke what happened, the last thing I remember is Karin stabbing me"

Sasuke proceeded to tell her what happened. "So Orochimaru, Karin and Sai have all been arrested"

"Aa." "Sakura I'm so sorry for not protecting you"

"Don't. You protected me plenty and saved me, I love you"

Sasuke leaned down and kissed her gently. A light coughing was head behind him and they pulled away to see he doctor behind them.

"Sorry to inurupt but I just want o ask you some basic questions to make sure you're alright and then you can go home."

"Can you tell me your name"

"Sakura Haruno"

"Ok look to your right, now your left, ok you seem fine your free to go home" Sakura smiled and looked at Sasuke

"take me home?" She asked and Sasuke nodded helping her out of the bed.

6 Months later

"About time you got here Ino" Sakura said seeing Ino walking in by her mirror in front of her.

"Sorry Sakura, but it akes a while to be this beautiful you know, but i'm all yours now" ino told her and went to get Sakura's dress out of the closet.

"There your hair is done" Hinata told Sakura

"It looks great" She replied

"Sakura your dress is beautiful" Tenten said watching Ino take it out of its protective packaging. Her dress was a staples white gown.

Ino ziped up the back of the dress for Sakura and then sat down and did her makeup. She applied some powder, blush and a red lipstick, and curled her eyelashes.

"There yourready" Ino announced

"Are you nervous?" Hinata asked her

Sakura nodded

"the lemo is here" Tenten told them.

At the church

All the guys were gathered at the front waiting for the lemo to pull up the guests were all seated and everything was ready.

"There here" Naruto announced running up the isle and taking he place next to Sasuke. The flower girls walked down the aisle first tossing petals followed by Ino. When Sakura finally appeared she couldn't keep her eyes off of Sasuke walking down the aisle. She smiled up at him and took her place at the front beside Sasuke. Naruto was grinning like an Idiot looking at Hinata. The girls took their places beside Sakura. The ceremony was a quick one, everyone gave them their congratulations and then moved to the hall where the celebrations would begin. Music was playing and drinks were being given out to all of the guests.

"The man and whife will now do their first dance as a married couple." Everyone stood and watched. After a while some couples began joining them on the dance floor. One of these couples being Naruto and Hinata even TenTen and neji had joined them.

Sasukes parents approached Sasuke and Sakura on the dance floor and said "Congratulations to you both"

"Thank you Fugaku, Mikoto"

"Take care of her son"

Many more people came up them and wish them a congratulations. When Sasuke noticed Sakura was starting to get tired her took her hand and said "You ready to go home Mrs. Uchiha" Sakura blushed and nodded

Sasuke drove them home quietly and it didn't take long for Sasuke to have them both naked and in the bedroom with him covering over her running his hands all over her body as she moaned for him.

"Sasuke please"
