AN: AU-ness. The truth will not get in the way of the humor.

Zelda walked through the castle, checking each of the rooms and taking in a damage assessment. Defeating Ganondorf had certainly taken effect on the castle. One out of every five rooms she looked at was destroyed.

For two hours now, she had been hearing the faint sound of chains zipping by in and out of the rooms, followed by a "wheee!"

Two. Strait. Hours.

She heard it again, this time it was closer. She drove her nails into an already battered wall, thoroughly aggravated.

"Link! Quit it! The castle doesn't need any more holes punched in the ceiling!" She yelled loud enough to make sure he heard her. The whizzing chain noise ceased.

Zelda took a deep cleansing breath and continued.

"Right. One library totaled, one living room, one grand staircase…"

Half an hour later the chains started up again.

"THAT'S IT!!"

She tromped up the half beaten stair-case in a un-lady-like fashion, grumbling words a princess probably shouldn't. She found him with both hook-shots in his hands, swinging from room to half-destroyed room.

"Link if you're not going to help-"

"Sorry, couldn't resist. There wasn't in part of the other room. Plus, these things are just so much fun to use." With that, he continued to swing grate to grate.

"…you're killing my castle's ceilings…." She whined. It was here, Link stopped in front of her, hanging upside-down, hands still clenched around the handles of the Hook-shots.

"Oh Zelda, I'm upside-down…."

Zelda raised an eyebrow at him, nothing more.
