Light shines within the darkness
Love can exist within the hate
All is not as it seems
With the night still beating
In a place where dreams come true
Two lovers shall come together
In a time of war two enemies shall be no more
When all is done
When all dust has cleared
All that's left is ash
No one remembers the way it happened
They just remember them
Two men so opposite of the other
Fell in love one fine spring day
Within the hands of Earth
Fate conspired to make them enemies
Destiny made them one
Within the chaos of their lives they found each other
They knew that their love would never last
Still they carried on
Each day a miracle
Each week a blessing
Then one day their friends found out
In that instant the world did end
In that moment they died
Torn apart by the world they fought for
Torn apart by hate
They found each other by moonlight
They sought each other by the stars
A vow was made that night
A vow of true love made
The sun rose in the awakening sky
The lovers made to part
Each remembering how this happened
Each remembered the pain
Fate in it vindictive ways conspired against them
The war speed up between darkness and light
Two lovers must choose their side
Neither side will let them be together
Neither side they choose
Instead they choose their own side
They choose the side of love
Fate grew angry at the lover
They were not following her plan
She whispers in the Dark Lords ear
She tells him a prophecy that will bring the lovers to an end
A paradox is born that day
A phoenix shall take flight
Within the darkness light is born
With the light there's darkness
As the lovers fall the darkness swells blanketing the sky
White and black fall side by side
Silver and emerald eyes look up unseeing
As one the dragons scream
As one the phoenixes cry
For Destiny has her way of making things quiet even
The life of Earth lies on the ground
It soul extinguished so young
The earth begins to rumble
The sky begins to fall
Fate and Destiny both stare at the falling sky
For once in complete agreement
The world would begin again
For the lovers defeated the enemy
Much to Fates disgust
Their friends seeing they were together again
Looked at them in disgust
All at once they hex the two
Causing the lover's death
The heart of Earth betrayed by trust is given a second chance
A light surrounds them as they journey into the next plane
Peace is all they feel
The world is ending to begin again
With Fate and Destiny as one
For never can this happen again
The lover's souls are finally at peace together forever they fly
The lights of heaven shine upon them
As they gaze into each others eyes
Beneath a crystalline sky
Love so pure it lasts forever
Through thick and thin they loved
The heart of earth was held within their souls
With their fate fulfilled
And destiny complete
They are finally at rest
So they lay together side by side
