Alright. I'm here, journal.
I suppose you want to know who I am, yes? Well, I'm the current heir to the Uchiha family, which is quite honestly in ruins right now. Half of the clan is attempting to diverge from Konohagakure. Ever since the legendary Sasuke has revived our clan, we have had an iffy relationship with the village. Some call us a disgrace, but they don't understand the hardships we endure. The clan is my identity. Wait, you want to know my name? Well, I guess you could call me Tamiko. "People child." I put my clan before all, which of course means I am already engaged to a complete stranger.
I don't really want to talk about him. We barely know each other, but we've had our share of affairs. He has bright red hair always tied back in a long half-pony tail. My great grandfather says that he looks like the legendary Itachi. Itachi is my hero. He sacrificed it all for what he believes in. Nobody ever recorded what he looked like, so obviously you had to see him to know. I guess my great grandfather is a special case, and if you asked him he'd tell you half of the ninjas in the fourth shinobi war!
You probably really want to know more about my clan. If you don't, you're going to be quite ticked off when you realize that's what I'm going to write here. There's a lot of "Drama" here, if you know what I mean. Well, let's start!
Today, dad left the house and left me, Ume, Sho, and the twins Yu and Yo home alone. Yu and Yo really creep me out, and I always loose track of them and find them in the attic later. Ume can sense chakra, and she says that she doesn't even like to look at their chakra. As for Sho, he's a train-a-holic. Yu and Yo are both older than me, but weren't even in the running for family head(s). Sho's a couple years younger than me, and Ume's six and already the family prodigy. Sho hates her. They're all a handful, but I've managed to look after the house thus far. I consider myself an "average" ninja. I inherited both of the family's chakra elements, Fire and Lightning, but struggle with fire. Most of our clan has one or the other, but Ume for some odd reason has water nature. The adults suspect she's the illegitimate daughter in the family, and some resent her.
Of course, I'm not the first person in my family to have both elements. My grandfather, uncle, and father all inherited it. I am just the only one in my current generation who has it. I heard that there's a Senju kid in Sho's rival squad who has earth, water, fire, and wood. Sho always complains about him "stealing all the ladies". Genin.
My family wants me to be a jōnin, but I don't want to be anything more than what I am now, a chuunin. I don't even have any of the qualifications. I can hardly do anything other genjustu. Who knows what will happen in the near future, for all I know I'll activate my clan's kekkei genkai, the sharingan.
