Sometimes I sit and watch her.
She doesn't smile very much when she's working.
I think that's the time when she thinks about him the most...
Cloud has been gone now for two whole weeks.
He left without saying goodbye to her, which I think upsets Tifa alot.
One day he was outside fixing his bike and the next he was nowhere to be found.
He was probably just fixing his bike to leave them...
So I watch her from time to time.
Cleaning behind the bar, smiling at the odd person that walks by, picking up her phone as if to dial his number, but then thinking twice and putting it back down again.
They say she's just worried about him.
But there's something deeper in her eyes. Something much deeper.
She's been trying to hide something from herself for so many years that she's forgotten to hide it from everyone else.
She loves him.
Any moron from here to Cosmo can tell you that.
I guess, the one person that can't tell you, is somewhere out there. Missing.
She's probably thinking up all the perfect situations she had to tell him but never did.
All the sweet hints that lingered in the air but were never caught on.
All the times he held her but never pushed it that extra bit further...
Look at her.
Those eyes, those lips...don't even get me started on that body. She isn't a stranger to the male eye around these parts, oh no. Back when we were both enemies and Rude had a thing for her – she could have sunk our chopper with just a glance...
It's safe to say that any man round here would drop and start a new life, just for her.
I mean, come on. Who hasn't thought about it? God knows I have.
And I bet pretty much every guy in this bar has too. Hell, I'd say some of them were only here forher.
Yet there she is.
Drifting back and forth behind that bar, oblivious to the men that sit and stare.
Her eyes only lift up to check the door.
He's not coming back for you, Tifa. He's not coming back.
