If she would have kissed him
This story takes place when Inuyasha and Kagome found Kikyo was still alive and Inuyasha wasn't looking at Kagome because she looked to much like Kikyo.
"It's not like that Kagome" Inuyasha said as his eyes burned into hers, his face leaning closer and closer to Kagome's. She could feel his breath on her face, she felt as if she could get lost in his eyes forever, he leaned a little farther and then stopped not sure of whether or not he could continue with his intention. Kagome didn't move she had a small since of what was coming next. Inuyasha saw that Kagome didn't move, no sign of not wanting what he did. Inuyasha stole her lips in his. Kagome's heart jumped as she felt his lips, she closed her eyes and kissed him back. Inuyasha was surprised at her actions he had always felt she didn't want to be near him but he was wrong. Inuyasha broke the kiss for air but forgot to breathe once he say Kagome's face. She slowly opened her eyes to see him gazing at her. The pain in Inuyasha's side reminded him he needed air and he tool a mouthful, his eyes never leaving Kagome's. "I love you he said "I love you and no one else" Kagome nodded and said "I love you to Inuyasha" "Kagome, Kikyo was the past and you are now and hopefully forever" he whispered into her ear.
They went to look for Kikyo but Inuyasha put her to rest then. Inuyasha and Kagome met Narkau , Shippo, Sango, Miroku as well as all of the other demons they had encountered, just not Kikyo. Inuyasha acted as Kagome's boyfriend throughout the whole journey, their were a few fights but for the most part they got along.
Once Narku was defeated Inuyasha asked Kagome to stay with him and be his mate. Kagome said yes of course. The wish on the jewel was that Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, Sango and all of their descendents could travel to Kagome's time. Sango and Miroku had a lot of time alone throughout the journey because of the time Inuyasha and Kagome spent alone and grew very close. Miroku still grouped Sango but didn't dare touch Kagome for fear of Inuyasha.
Kagome and Inuyasha and Miroku and Sango were all married in a double wedding, a nice spring wedding with all of the flowers blooming. Sango and Kagome got pregnant at the same time soon after their wedding, Kagome had her baby two weeks after Sango had her baby, both were boys. Sango ended with 3 boys and 1 girl and Kagome had 3 boys and 2 girls. The families got to be very close to one another.
Shippo was raised by everyone bouncing from Sango and Miroku to Kagome and Inuyasha and when the couples wanted some alone time Keade watched him. When he grew older he married a young fox demon they had 2 girls and 1 boy.
The children on both sides of the family grew to be powerful people and eventually took on missions like their parents. The group was called upon from time to time to defeat strong demons. Everyone grew ever more powerful and Kagome learned how to use her miko powers so that she could become a bigger help to the rest of the gang.
Kagome died in a battle with a powerful demon but Kami saw how much she loved Inuyasha and all she had done for the world he granted her the life span of a ½ demons so she could be with Inuyasha.
The line of Inuyasha and Kagome turned to be a very respected line and eventually took back lands in the west. Sango and Miroku's line was like a family to Inuyasha and Kagome's serving beside them as part of the ruling family.
Stories are still told today about Inuyasha, Kagome, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo.
And to think none of this would have happened without that one kiss.
