I've helped my trainer win three gym battles. And now we walk to our fourth. The next town we reach isn't it but we'll still need to stop, take a break and stock up on supplies.

The fields of long, overgrown wheat slowly change to fields of purple and grey flowers. My trainer smiles. The flowers have a quiet, relaxing feeling to them on such a sunny day. The bright sun warms my flower up and the town soon comes into sight. We enter it.

Suddenly my trainer shudders beside me. My eyes drift up to him. He reaches down and strokes me. "Its fine, Lilly. The town's just a little… spooky, that's all." What he said is true. This town has a rather odd feel to it. All other towns were at least sorta cheerful. Even Pewter Town, a town of greys and browns, felt warm and happy. This town felt cold and uninviting. It almost felt evil. But a town can't be evil… can it?

The moment we had stepped into the town clouds that had not existed before covered the sun. The soft purples that had been reassuring from a distance were menacing up close. Shivers ran through me, even in my flower. I feel cold and sick.

My trainer lets out a long hacking cough. I turn my head sharply and run to his side as he sits down. He smiles and rubs my head reassuringly. "Hey Lilly, I just… I gotta go, okay? Wait for me to come back." He stood up and left the town, his eyes hollow. I plonk my green rump onto the stone and lie down on the cold stone. I know he'll come back. And until he does, I'll wait here.

"The people say that ivysaur waited,

For over a thousand years,

Her waiting was for naught however

As her reality became her fears.

As the time passed her stone-hard loyalty

Made her one with the rock she lay on

Some say that you can still find her there

Where her trainer left her, all alone"
