He almost felt sorry for her, she got herself in to the mess that got her drummed out of the FBI, hell the fact that she messed with Erin, Dave and JJ was bad enough but the fact that she got Garcia hurt during a case was the final straw it seems, so with little fan fare or in her case him standing across the street silently watching like he always had once he got his head on straight Alex Blake was thrown out of the FBI a disgrace and Jason Gideon saw it all.
In the two years, Jason saw the highs and lows of the world did the good needed to heal and spoke to someone once he got back to Quantico, he knew he burnt his bridges long ago, so he sat back and watched as the team grew stronger as a family with Dave, learned to function without Emily, the pain of finding out she was alive and lied to keep them safe and then leaving once again then being forced to work with this odd sock of a woman, but yet he pitted her she thought she knew how to work with the "family" and yet she failed horribly.
Coming out of his thoughts Jason walked down the street to the coffee shop to where she would sit for hours think what to do with herself, now that she wasn't an agent, he saw a florist, stepping inside he felt drawn to the purple tulips grabbing one and heading to the till to pay he headed out the door and back in the direction of the coffee shop.
She was easy to spot at the back of the shop in somewhat business attire, pulling out a chair and sitting down he placed the tulip on the table in between them
"The purple tulip has a few meaning its most common is royalty but it's also known for rebirth. I left my family behind with no more than a note but have been watching from a distance since I got my head on straight after seeing so many horrible things, but now it's your turn to get your head on straight think of this time as a rebirth, as a time of growth and as a time of prentice of what you did to the family that took you in. I'll be watching to see and I'll be in touch soon" and with that Jason left a poor Alex Blake gob smacked, she knew she had a lot to think about but this gave her a great deal more, getting up and placing a few dollars on the table to pay for the drink she headed home it looked like she had a lot of soul searching to do and a lot of road to cover
